The dragon's harem
Chapter 2274: He is Back, The Verdant Lord
"Trying to bait Arad out?" Amaterasu mumbled, "Maybe... I think that is what Nyar is aiming for this time. It would make sense, since I checked their army before and made sure we wouldn’t be facing any Avatar before calling Eris here... so if he showed up with two avatars and Vorvadoss, then he is probably doing that."
Yog frowned, then looked at one of Amaterasu’s angels. "You go out and send a scouting team; I want the abominations’ exact movements." The angel wore her clothes and flew out in less than half a minute.
"I have this... he’s playing us." Yog looked at Amaterasu. "Arad should be on the verge of evolving now, meaning that he’ll be at his weakest soon. Nyar probably wants to force him out here so he can force him to evolve and then get rid of him."
"And I bet he knows well that I can’t go all out this close to the universe’s crust." Amaterasu sighed as she leaned back. "How annoying."
"GAAA!" Yog growled as she frantically ruffled her hair. "That bastard! No, both of them. I hate nothing more than Arad and Nyar messing up everything." She then fell on her back and sighed. "I really want to blow this entire place up and avoid this entire fight."
"We can’t do that." Amaterasu rolled on top of her and started choking her with her large breasts. "We need those extra void dragons. After we lost the Peace Army, our only option for sustaining the armies, given the lack of healing, is to have more bases."
Yog pushed those large bags apart and looked up at Yog. "Fine, I’ll get us a plan. It isn’t that hard to kill two Avatars with our current firepower, but dealing with Vorvadoss comes first since his mobility and adaptability are a huge problem."
"Then I’m counting on you. I’ll handle the raw parts." Amaterasu smiled and looked back at one of her angels. "Get every void dragon that arrives ready for battle, station them apart, and give them orders. Hold up, defend, and make sure no abomination gets past you."
The angel bowed briefly and then flew out.
Amaterasu shifted her attention toward another angel. "You go down and find the god of respite, and get him to spread his troops to everyone to get our healing units ready. Inform him that the coming battle could end up with everyone here wiped out, so he has to go all out and do his job perfectly."
The angel bowed, gave Amaterasu a quick glance, and then few away.
Amaterasu then shifted her attention to one of her archons, and the archon flinched as she blushed. "What... shall I do?"
"You’re the one who fought with Eris’s troops, so you know them best. For this battle, you’ll work under Eris to make sure she survives and that her angels survive. The priority of your units shouldn’t be killing the abominations, but protecting Eris and her angels. Focus on those who have Arad’s scent on them, since he’ll show up in a heartbeat if any of his women were to be in danger."
As she heard that, the archon nodded. "May I ask something?"
Amaterasu smiled. "Go ahead, I’m sure you want some answers as well."
The archon gulped. "I can understand that Arad is very important, and I also understand that we must protect him at all costs. But... won’t it be easier to just send Eris and everyone important to him back into the universe? Can’t we just convince him not to come, even if they get hurt?"
"To answer your first question, his wives must get used to fighting in this war. If I send Eris home today, Nyar will do the same thing in the future, resulting in Arad’s wives never fighting on the front lines, growing dull and weaker, which will hurt us in the long run. They must fight, they must grow, and they must adapt."
Amaterasu shrugged. "And it is impossible to convince him to abandon his wives. Not even Death herself can stop him from rushing in. Arad is just built like that... I bet that even if I sealed him beneath hell, he will just come out."
The archon paled a bit, but bowed. "As you say then, I’ll be on my way." She then few out toward Eris’s tent as fast as she could, and Amaterasu was left with Yog and their rest of their guards. "Got that plan up yet?" Amaterasu asked and Yog smiled. "Half of it. If you want me to work faster, then get your tongue moving down there."

Far, far above in the sky, amidst the daunting darkness, green flames burned. He was tall, standing at almost three meters in height, built like a wall, and as pale as ash; he had no eyes or nose, but a large maw filled a rows of sharp teeth.
From the lower back of his head, a long tail ten meters in length sprouted down, reaching into the darkness, and green flames burned from his feet up to his waist, shaking the sky.
He was Vorvadoss, the Lord of Space, the pale hunger of the outer void; he was here. An abomination above many, one that can even be seen as stronger than Nyar’s avatars themselves, with his unique power and skill set.
He had regained his power and was now looking down at the army of the gods, grinning. He was blind, but could taste space itself. The creatures down below were angels, gods, and their servants. But his target wasn’t them; it was one person- one that he needed to kill.
Many misunderstand Vorvadoss; many think that he is just another powerful abomination that serves Nyar, while in reality, he is much, much more. He is to Nyar the same way Destruction or Stillness are to AO, a primordial existence.
He was born, bred, and made to consume, destroy, and specifically infect AO, who controls space.
CLICK! CLICK! A sharp clicking noise came out of Vorvadoss’s large maw, and he disappeared.
He was there, standing on the table between Eris and Sena, glaring down at Eris’s face with his maw open, his legs burning with verdant flames, and his head tail swinging at light speed toward her head. She hasn’t even noticed him yet, and his tail was an inch away from cleaving her head.
"FUCKER!" Luminous and Linda both shouted as Linda slowed time and caught Vorvadoss’s tail, and Luminous fired a full-power light breath at him, trying to blast him away.
Vorvadoss just teleported four feet to the side and dodged the light breath, and everything had happened in just a fraction of a second, to the point that the nervous signal coming from Eris’s eyes to her brain to tell her that she saw Vorvadoss didn’t reach the brain yet.
Amaterasu and Yog were already moving down as they sensed Vorvadoss, and Linda and Luminous were already struggling to keep up as he had just dodged their joint attack.
The next one to reach was Sena, whose biology surpassed everyone else’s. She couldn’t even move at a sufficient speed, so she activated her magic while sitting down.
[Elemental Expansion:...] She couldn’t finish speaking as Vorvadoss had already divorced her skull from her neck, and her lungs couldn’t pump air into her vocal cords.
