Chapter 2087: The Origin of Stillness and Entropy
This time, Isdis simply opened her eyes, silently rising from her slumber. She didn’t gasp, didn’t move, and didn’t even flinch. She was human once more, feeling the cold of her hands and soul. Traces of elder power, dominion over heat, and the bitter cold.
She looked around herself, seeing that Merida was asleep by her side, unbothered by the cold. While on the other side of the bed, Arad was violently pounding Mira from the back as Aella was asleep at the side.
Usually, she would get turned on and hope to join them, but now... she felt nothing but the cold. Looking at Arad for a solid second, just one word rang across her head.
"Ginnungagap." As she mumbled, Arad’s eyes jolted open, and his fists clenched so hard that Mira’s shins shattered in his grasp. She cried for a brief moment, but then silently looked at him. She was a demigoddess, so while such an injury stung a bit, it wasn’t that bad.
What Mira cared about more was the burning darkness she could see in Arad’s eyes, and what she saw reflecting in them was a dark void. An endless nest of pure blackness beneath Yggdrasil’s roots. Arad was there, shrouded in mist as he played with ice and fire, and from his fingers, something vast emerged.
Zephyr was glaring at Arad with wide eyes and veins bulging across her head. The crown of the spirit queen flashed above her, and for a second, she was ready to go beyond her own limits and pull 1000% of her potential if she needed to.
"Niflheim, Muspelheim..." His head turned, and he looked right toward Isdis, "Stillness and Entropy." Zephyr was glaring between them as if she was about to kill someone, but Isdis just smiled.
"Where those two were born, if he isn’t lying." As she looked at Arad, he blinked several times, then cried as he felt Mira’s shattered legs in his hands. "Sorry... I’ll heal them right away!" As he let go, she healed her legs in the blink of an eye. "I’m fine."
Mira pushed herself toward him and wrapped her legs around his hips so he wouldn’t pull out, and then asked. "What are you two talking about? Look, Zephyr is mad."
Isdis gave Zephyr a glare. "Calm down, you’re too old to act rashly." As she spoke, Zephyr sighed. "I’m old enough to act."
Isdis shrugged and sighed. "Silver, Absolute Zero. The progenitor of the royal bloodline. I can see his memories through my soul." She leaned back. "Stillness and Entropy were both made in this place called Ginnungagap by a dark void, and each of them was born encased in an egg, an entire world. Stillness’s egg was called Niflheim, and Entropy’s egg was called Muspelheim."
Zephyr lowered her magic and relaxed a bit, and Isdis finished explaining instead of letting Arad read her mind. "Eventually, Niflheim, after eons of stillness, started to seek a new vessel. It was then that it found a freezing cursed by the existence of a powerful abomination. The gods couldn’t see the world, and so devils were dispatched to cleanse it. Searching for that lone abomination was impossible."
Zephyr looked at her with a cold face. "Silver... that abomination, he fought human god Chad and died."
Isdis scratched her head. "Yeah... his soul was that of an abomination, and his birth was what caused his world to go through an ice age. But... Stillness found him a suitable vessel to carry its power, so they merged."
Arad crossed his arms. "But he wasn’t her, he wasn’t Stillness. He was a man, just carried her power so that one day she could be born."
Isdis looked troubled. "Silver left two bloodlines, one in the mortal world with a woman called Reina Ruris, and in hell, he had a single daughter with a sinner. The Royal bloodline, including Isbert and me, are descendants of him and Reina. While Stillness that is now in the abyss is his direct daughter."
"We’ll have to ask Kali about it." Zephyr flew toward Isdis and stared at her eyes, "How did you learn all of that from your soul?"
"I just got cold enough. I don’t know exactly how it works, but the colder my body gets is a reflection of my soul. Those are memories engraved on the bloodline itself, so everyone should be able to remember them if they mastered, they got cold enough." She sat up, stretched her arms, and then approached Arad.
"Can I have a second round after Mira?" She asked with a grin, and Arad shrugged. "Why not?" He was reading her mind, and she told him. ^You reacted just by hearing the name Ginnungagap. I’m looking forward to a long story.^
Arad did indeed react just to that. The moment he heard it, he could recollect a few lost fragments of knowledge about the primal void and how Stillness and Entropy were born. Those two weren’t born to help him create the universe; they were born to maintain balance.
Entropy forced the universe to evolve and grow, while Stillness was the brakes on Entropy, making sure it didn’t get out of hand. Together, they balanced the cycle of destruction and creation.
Pushing that aside to the edge of his mind, Arad had to focus on Mira for now. He had just broken her legs, so he can’t just leave her hanging like this. He started slowly moving and leaned on her. "I’m really sorry about earlier; it must’ve hurt a lot."
She wrapped her arms around his neck and reached toward his face with a grin. "I really, really don’t mind. You can break me as much as you like. In fact..." She licked his lips. "I was really happy when having my legs broken didn’t feel that bad."
Their lips locked for an entire minute, and when they let go, she whispered. "I got strong enough to endure that; it won’t be long before..." She threw a glance toward Isdis and Merida. "It won’t be long before I can stand with them."
Arad’s slow humps grew faster and faster with each breath until they became violent again, and Mira’s moans filled the entire room. While it was fine with the others, the maids started to feel strange listening to Mira’s moans and watching her getting hammered.
She was a divine demigoddess, and that power caused her own will and emotions to seep out into those around her. People were naturally compelled to worship her; they saw her as above them in beauty, power, and authority. Without even realising it, half of them had already started praying to her as they played with themselves.
After almost half an hour, Mira finally reached her limit, and when Arad finished inside her, she, too, exploded, almost drowning him in a clear tide. The maids rushed to clean her, and as usually, Olivia approached Arad to clean his flesh with her throat.
But this time, before she could start, Zephyr grabbed her by the hair and threw her on the bed. "Not this time. Let the other maids handle it. You’ve got to get ready." She landed in front of her face and smiled, "It won’t be painless. It’s your first time after all."
