Deed-194: Curse

[ Inside Courtroom ]

[ Gunaniddhi and Sampath shout ]

Gunaniddhi and Sampath: That's enough!!!

[ Ram smiles ]

Gunaniddhi: One more word and I would consider cutting off your tongue!!!

(Gunaniddhi)

Sampath: My mother's life is worth more than these mere continent yokai's lives!!!

(Sampath)

Gunaniddhi and Sampath: Our maa Lotus was a goddess!!! Her life is valuable to us all!!!

[ Ram sighs while everyone in the courtroom gets shocked by the Lords' and princes' actions and words ]

[ Ram in a casual tone ]

Ram: She was your mother, that's why it might matter to you!

Ram: But it doesn't matter to everyone!

Ram: I was given this throne to look after my citizens! Citizens are of the highest value to me!

Ram: I haven't brought back my Candy, who was loved by all my citizens! Why do you think that I would revive Lotus!?! Some things are taboo for a reason!!!

Ram: No matter even if she was a goddess, I can't revive her and invite catastrophe into our continent by doing the taboo!!!

Ram: I won't let my citizens suffer because of my selfishness!!!

[ Charu Hashini, Queens, Vidhur, Advisors and Ministers understand what their Lord meant and understand his perspective ]

[ Sampath understands that Ram won't revive maa Lotus no matter what, even if they threaten him or even if they dethrone him, he won't revive maa Lotus ]

[ It makes Sampath feel despair, frustration, rage, helplessness and irritation, as he can't do anything, yet Gunaniddhi and Sampath shout ]

Gunaniddhi and Sampath: Then why did you order us to fight those asuras!?!

Gunaniddhi and Sampath: Because of you, we lost our maa!!!

Gunaniddhi and Sampath: We would have protected all our mothers and sister, but it was your order which led to all this!!!

[ Ram sighs and stands up ]

[ Ram bows down ]

Ram: I appolog...

[ Charu Hashini shouts ]

Charu Hashini: No, Dad!!!

Charu Hashini: Dad, because of your plan, we are all alive!!!

Charu Hashini: If we hadn't followed your plan, then no one could have made it out alive!!!

Charu Hashini: Please, don't bow down!!! Please kill us and give us curses from devatas for letting such a perfect human to bow down to his children!!!

[ Charu Hashini requests Ram to raise his head up ]

[ Charu Hashini looks at her brothers and shouts ]

Charu Hashini: Brothers!!! If you have power, then revive our Maa!!!

Charu Hashini: Or else, stay quiet! Don't blame or demand others for your incompetence!!!

[ Charu Hashini with a dominating tone ]

Charu Hashini: Do you really think that maa Lotus would find peace in any universe if she found out that her children and husband were arguing!!!

[ Gunaniddhi and Sampath with embarrassment and helplessness, turn away their heads ]

[ Charu Hashini in a requesting tone ]

Charu Hashini: I can sense others' emotions, you all know that, right!?!

Charu Hashini: Dad is having the greatest sadness of you all!!!

Charu Hashini: Don't blame Dad!!!

Charu Hashini: Do you really think that Dad doesn't care about maa Lotus!?!

[ Gunaniddhi and Sampath calm down and sit on their seats while Charu Hashini makes them all remember how great her dad and his love for maa Lotus were ]

[ Gunaniddhi and Sampath sit silently and understand what their father is going through, while the queens, ministers, advisors and Vidhur console Ram and remember Queen Lotus' greatness ]

[ Gunaniddhi and Sampath become a bit embarrassed and ashamed of their actions, as they blamed their father for their incompetence ]

[ Ram smiles at their condolences ]

[ After a while, Gunaniddhi stands ]

[ Gunaniddhi with a sad, despairing and apologetic tone ]

Gunaniddhi: Dad, please forgive me!!!

Gunaniddhi: I have threatened you multiple times for the past few days and tried killing you!

Gunaniddhi: Please forgive me, Dad!

Gunaniddhi: Please forgive me for blaming you for my incompetence and incapability!!!

[ Sampath stands and apologizes to Ram too ]

[ Ram smiles and in a fatherly, loving tone ]

Ram: I have already forgiven all of you a long time ago!

Ram: I am not angry with any of you!

[ Gunaniddhi with guilt ]

Gunaniddhi: Dad, I have cursed you!

Gunaniddhi: I have cursed you with all my tapas shakthi! If you don't revive maa Lotus, then you would die in the next 4 days!

[ Ram laughs out ]

[ Queens, ministers, advisors and Vidhur get all shocked and look at Gunaniddhi with confusion, as they never thought that Gunaniddhi was ever able to harm his dad even in dreams, but he has cursed his dad to die if he doesn't do what he wants ]

Gunaniddhi: I cursed you out of anger, on the day of the fight with asuras!

[ Queens start requesting Gunaniddhi to take back the curse. They start crying and begging Gunaniddhi to take back the curse ]

[ Gunaniddhi with helplessness, regret and guilt ]

Gunaniddhi: I have spent all my tapas shakthi to curse! I no longer have any tapas shakthi, I can't take off the curse!!!

[ On hearing that, Queens start crying and requesting Ram to overcome his curse ]

[ Ministers and advisors start thinking about how to save their Lord and nullify that curse ]

[ After listening to all their requests, Ram gets a bit irritated ]

[ Ram in a dominating tone ]

Ram: I can't overcome his curse! As he has used all his lifetime's tapas shakthi to curse me!

Ram: Hence, no matter what, that curse would come true!

[ Queens start crying while the children look down at the floor with shame, guilt and regret ]

[ Ministers and Advisors with a bit of hope stand up and propose their plan in the courtroom ]
