The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System

Chapter 587 I don't leave loose ends.

Chapter 587 I don’t leave loose ends.

“Young Master Wei! The Hidden Moonlight Secret Realm is about to open; we have to run faster!” A tired, anxious voice echoed.

Its owner was a young man no older than twenty, with a cultivation level in the early stages of the Ancestral Emperor Realm.

In the Mortal Heaven, he would be an unparalleled genius, one in a trillion births.

But here in the Celestial Heavens? He barely qualified as mediocre.

“I know, just keep running, Peng Tao!” Chen Wei shouted to the young man following him, increasing his own speed as well.

He was Chen Wei, the young master of a small regional family in the Fallen Moon World.

The young man accompanying him was Peng Tao, his most loyal servant.

Gritting his teeth, Chen Wei quickened his pace even further, his eyes fixed on the horizon.

His face was smeared with blood, and his sword dripped with the red liquid without ceasing.

It was obvious that he had encountered some trouble along his path.

Ever since he began training in martial arts, he had received a single mission from his father: to become a great man and join the Cosmic Dawn Sect.

Even if he became merely an inner disciple, he would still have the power to elevate the Chen family to a level their ancestors could never have imagined.

No longer just a family of regional merchants.

Unfortunately, things didn’t always go as planned.

“Where do you think you’re going, young Master Chen?” A voice came from the right, and Chen Wei spun immediately, assuming a defensive stance.

A silver dragon tore through the air alongside a blade, striking him with full force and hurling his body to the ground, leaving a crater. “Young Master Chen!” the servant shouted, his eyes filling with terror.

“I’m fine… damn it! Why do the heavens conspire against the Chen family?” Chen Wei stood up, sensing dozens of auras surrounding him.

He himself was in the Astral Body Realm, a considerable talent for that region, since he had reached that level at only twenty years of age.

His attackers were also at the same level, though they were already old, possessing a talent that had allowed them to reach this realm only after centuries.

They were the henchmen of the Luo family, who were also sending their children to the secret realm of the hidden moonlight, used as a talent selection camp for the Cosmic Dawn Sect.

Sworn enemies of the Chen family and possessing considerable military power, they would never let them have the chance to join the Sect.

“It’s nothing personal, young master.” The group’s leader smiled.

He was a rugged man with a long beard and dual axes.

“To be honest, we don’t even need to kill you. We don’t want all-out war with the Chen family. Just let us escort you back to your family’s residence, as good friends.”

“Friends? You kill all our guards and still talk about friendship?” Peng Tao roared beside the young master.

The leader’s eyes turned cold, fixing on Peng Tao. “I’m not talking to you, worm.”

He picked up a small stone and hurled it at the servant, with enough force to rip his head off.

Peng Tao crouched immediately, trembling, the stone whizzing over his head at a terrifying speed.

With that force, it should have flown for kilometers, but it didn’t go more than a few meters before being stopped.

“What a welcome…” A voice sounded from behind a bush.

It was masculine, soft, and serene, caressing the ears of anyone who

heard it.

From behind the bush, a young man emerged.

Horns black as night, purple eyes, and a youthful face of transcendent

beauty.

His powerful muscles were exposed through torn clothing, and his body was covered in wounds that were slowly healing.

It was, of course, Long Qingyi.

The handsome young man looked around with curiosity.

The connection he felt with the stars was much stronger than before, and above all, the primordial laws around him also seemed more

intense.

It was like the difference between heaven and earth.

“Who the hell are you to dare interfere in the affairs of the Luo family?” the leader roared, drawing his weapon.

“Oh… I’m not interfering. I just want directions, where am I?” Qingyi asked, with more respect than he believed that man deserved.

They looked more like common thugs than members of a noble family.

“Where is he? Is this son of a bitch crazy?” A thin, ugly-looking man spoke beside the leader. “Just kill him already.”

The leader clenched his teeth and lunged forward, swinging his axe

down toward Qingyi’s head.

“Hm… is that all?” Qingyi raised two fingers, catching the blade

between them.

He was disappointed by that power, but after thinking for a moment,

he merely shook his head.

They were just common bandits, and yet, they had enough power to easily dominate the entire immortal haven.

He shouldn’t be disappointed by them.

Qingyi applied a little force, and a metallic clang echoed as the axe

blade shattered like glass.

The leader didn’t have time to react.

By the time terror filled his eyes, his head had already been sent

flying into the air.

His soul tried to flee, but Qingyi quickly extinguished it with a wave of

his hand.

Silence.

Chen Wei, Peng Tao, all the bandits around them, no one dared make

a single sound.

The thin man who had ordered Qingyi’s death took a step back,

feeling the young man’s eyes rest upon him.

“I…” He prepared to flee.

“Oh… I’m sorry,” Qingyi’s lips curved into a friendly, gentle smile, “but

I don’t leave loose ends.”

His words were a death sentence, but his face and voice made it seem

as though he were chatting with old friends.

The bandits tried to flee in all directions, their faces twisted with

terror.

None of them managed to take more than ten steps before collapsing

to the ground.

Ignoring the thugs lying in pools of their own blood, Qingyi fixed his gaze on Chen Wei.
