Chapter 1096: Chapter 1094-Locked In.

The next day itself a show that once again shook the lands took place. A big spectacle that once again drew attention from the war council.

It was just a day like no other. The lands given to Austin Lionheart, riddled with chaotic energy and a land that cannot grow anything much, was just stiffening itself away without any cause or action. And then, like the scene of the world itself splitting apart, the skies above the lands of Austin Lionheart ripped open.

It was as if a spatial rift opened above those very lands, and from it came a graceful green light. A single touch; it was as if all the living beings at that time were rejoicing, happy at that touch. A touch that had touched all lives that are and will come to be.

Powerful beings all within the mortal realm, inside the war council and outside, felt this sudden shift in situation. All of their eyes split across space and time as they came upon the land being blessed by the Goddess of Life herself, which means that land in question would be a haven for anyone who would come to live upon it.

Ranging from powerful monsters to beasts to any being with life, all felt the sudden urge to just settle down upon those very lands, to live there in just happiness.

It was a surreal feeling. The same feeling of trust and happiness that all kids would feel in the embrace of their mother. That was the feel anyone who stepped upon those very same green lights had felt. And along with it came the earth-shattering blessing that fell upon the land. It was quite the sight to see for anyone gazing upon it.

Those green lights went and touched those lands, giving them life. Within seconds of all of them watching, they saw as the land ripened. Grasses grew, trees reached the sky, and a beautiful rainbow-like covering all over the land. Within the time the eyes to blink, the lands themselves had become a utopia, becoming vast and beautiful.

Many just took it in and fell upon the beauty of that sight, wandering into a sense of daze. Some whose power and many who were at the peak of the Origin realm and their affinity that resonated with nature felt a change in them, as if they understood a law to take their next step into the very realm they desired to be in.

Some Imperials, even such as the realm, felt a touch of enlightenment within them. Overall, it was a beautiful and amazing scene. Once the light faded away, so did the rift above. It too faded away, leaving behind the now blessed and beyond beautiful land.

Of course, some of the light did touch outside the boundaries of Austin’s land, creating a push there. But the majority and the most important part of the blessing which gives growth and life all fell upon the land that Austin, or in this case Rex, holds in his hand.

The moment the show was over, it was a shark-killing battle over who gets a piece of the land. Especially the places that had the best of the best blessings in it. Such a rare piece of land, everyone wanted a bite of it. Especially the elves who take great worship of the Goddess of Life herself.

And thus, when all the ones in power gave the order and the ones below set forth to forge their greatest battle, they came into a wall so big they just sat there for a moment, blinking their eyes and wondering what the hell had happened.

The very land, the very most important amazing blessed land, already belonged to another faction!

Which directly put a hold on everything they wanted to do. Then they wanted to break through a loophole so that they could claim anything, which was once again met with an even bigger problem. The ones that sold it to Austin wanted to make sure he had no way of going back on the whole deal, so they made the deal airtight, filled with full contract obligations, with no way of breaking through it.

The woman in question, who had been there when Austin signed it and confirmed everything, was now lying on her chair like she had lost her soul. The very clause she made iron-clad was now coming to bite her in the ass. The pressure and the sheer mind-boggling situation had knocked her right off her mind.

The same went for every player that had jumped to get a taste of this situation, only to find that the land kept here useless all this time had gone into the hands of some no-name nobody in the war council.

Heck, the leader of the faction itself was some young man who didn’t even have any strong members in his group yet!

This was barely a faction, and that gave the rest of the greedy-eyed hyenas the chance to jump at this. All of them wanted a piece of this, and since it was just some no-name faction, how hard would it be to drive the young kid to give it all up? There were so many advantages and favours he could receive in return for giving up the land.

Thus began the big hit requests arriving upon Austin’s room again and again for meetings. The big dogs didn’t move, but their fellow workers and subordinates made their moves, with big requests and big favours and contracts that could be extremely helpful to the young budding faction barely on its knees.

Many others of power could only watch with widened mouths as this no-name faction shot up to the roof in just one single day. Rewards and acquisitions that would make them stronger were just coming in, all in the name of getting the lands from them. Everyone else could only watch in jealousy at the sudden good luck of this faction, which was completely unknown just a day ago.

A faction founded by a single person with just a few members being known to the ears and minds of all the powerful top members of the war council? Not to mention all other various powers in the world who also hoped to get a small bit of the land for their own use. Such a drastic rise in fame and position was never seen before, and that legend had settled in.

People who had no idea about the one named Rex started to look into him, and the astonishing news about all his achievements, which the war council had tried to suppress after the fight, came out. It was news upon news upon news that kept shaking everything around.

Within that single moment, the name of Rex was etched into the minds as a terrifying genius and one who would have no doubt various favours and powers in his hands. A land like that? Even some hidden away Dragons sent out small regards to get attention. Not to mention Imperial Beasts who walk upon the path of Life. To them, a land blessed by the Goddess of Life is the absolute best place to be in the whole world.

Both for power, growth and peace. Especially for some Imperial beasts with children. What better place can they ask to raise their kids than a land blessed by life itself?

Just living in the land itself would grant several advantages in lifespan, growth and even talent modification. Not to mention the best place any being can ask for. So it was prime real estate in the hands of a young boy, which also made its own dark jealousy, envy and snide attacks coming towards it.

The thing was that they were locked in the rules that they all created.

Any new faction formed inside the war council under its own protection and own contract would be under their protection from being plundered for the given time of 5 years. This was a rule meant to protect these lands.

Meaning, after this time, if your faction isn’t strong enough, it can be plundered away. War can be declared on your lands, and everything can be taken away in the blink of an eye. After all, why would powerful beings just watch when the lesser one has more than they have?

Even that comes with its own restrictions, and right now it has barely been some time since Austin made his faction, which was done under the contract of the war council. Which means, under worldly laws, no being can touch the land for 5 years. This became the next biggest blow to everyone eyeing it.

They can’t use a loophole to take it, and they can’t use force of war to take it. The next best would be coercing anyone he cares about, but under all of their greatest investigations, all they got was Rex being close to DarkNight and the leader Ralph. And no one wanted to mess with that path. So the only path left was to go the straight route.

Of course, this doesn’t mean people with bad intentions aren’t gathering or haven’t taken any actions yet. They were just biding their time for the right time to throw in their venom.
