Chapter 536: Teleporting
"Take me with you."
These words echoed in Simon’s ears, causing his killing intent to dissipate like the wind.
He looked at Sonya with a deep frown.
"You want to follow me?" He asked with a suspicious and baffled tone.
Sonya nodded, then she approached him and held his hand after releasing the earth that bound his ankles.
"Let’s go. You were in a hurry before, why are you wasting time now?"
Simon’s frown deepened slightly as he looked at her.
"Did you hear everything I said earlier? I plan on leaving the clan and one of the Grave Lords is after me."
Sonya nodded once again.
"I did. I might be blind but I’m not deaf."
Simon’s expression became strange.
"Then why do you want to follow me?"
Sonya looked at him, and though Simon could not see her face because of her mask, he had a feeling that she had a serious expression behind her mask.
"Because I’m Honourable Sonya and I do what I want. Not even the Shadowgrave Clan or the gods can stop me from doing what I want."
Simon’s lips could not help but twitch at her words.
’This brat.’
Simon had the urge to release a deep sigh of frustration, but Sonya’s next words made him pause for a moment.
"Also, if you leave... who is going to be my sparring partner from now on? I don’t get bored easily when we train. If you’re not in the clan, then I’ll die of boredom."
Simon looked at her with slightly raised brows.
"What of master?"
Sonya scoffed.
"He’ll be fine. He only loves women and breasts. Once he sucks on the breasts of a woman, he’ll be completely fine."
Simon had no response for this, and even if he did, he would not say them.
He had wasted quite a lot of time.
He held Akaza’s shoulder and Sonya’s hand like she was his child, then he looked at Akaza.
"Are the slaves in position?"
Akaza absentmindedly nodded. "Yes. They are."
Simon nodded. "Good. Let’s leave then.’
Simon was about to teleport, but to his shock and disbelief, Sunless suddenly held his waist from behind.
"I’m following you too. Don’t think of leaving me here like this."
Simon was stunned. His mouth parted open to speak, but his expression suddenly changed.
He could sense Black Midnight teleporting from one shadow to the next at an extremely fast speed.
ShadowSense was constantly activated, and the moment Simon sensed him, he cursed.
"Damn it. We’re leaving."
’If it comes down to it, I can use both of you as bait and sacrifices since you don’t value your lives."
Without wasting anymore second, Simon vanished with Akaza, Sunless, and Sonya.
The consumption of demonic energy was extremely high. An average Minor Archfiend would not be able to accomplish what he just did.
Teleporting three people, including himself, at the same time?
That was a shocking feat.
And this feat was only possible because Simon had an absurd control over his demonic energy, a rather deep understanding of space, experience, and the Miser’s Ring.
About three seconds later, Black Midnight rose from the shadow of a chair in the headquarters of the Iron Fangs.
He looked around with a deep frown and a dark expression beneath his mask.
"Four were here. Don’t tell me that brat teleported all of them away from here? What grade of spatial affinity does he have for him to accomplish this feat?"
"First he teleported to this shabby looking building which is extremely far. Now, he teleported three of his friends and himself?"
"How interesting."
The Grave Lord took a step forward and looked at the surroundings once again.
"If his spatial affinity is this high, then killing him would be a massive waste. We need to use him."
"We can use him to create rifts into earth. With his powers, we can have a massive advantage over other clans and even kingdoms by having a hidden stronghold on Earth."
The eyes of the Grave Lord shone brightly, then his body started sinking inside the shadow he was standing on.
"Or we can extract his blood essence and infuse it into a loyal clan member. That would reduce the spatial affinity grade, but we wouldn’t have to worry about the clan member betraying us."
Black Midnight’s lips curled up slightly as he thought of the benefits of Simon’s spatial affinity.
"You might have a powerful spatial affinity, but you can’t escape."
Black Midnight’s head sank into the shadow after saying these words, leaving the headquarters of the Iron Fangs in complete silence.
Meanwhile, Simon, Akaza, Sonya, and Sunless appeared in Simon’s dorm room after teleporting out of the headquarters of the Iron Fangs.
However, Sonya emptied out her stomach after they arrived, causing Simon to frown.
He looked at Akaza and Sunless, and he saw that Sunless was completely fine while Akaza had a slightly pale face.
It was obvious that Akaza’s tolerance for spatial teleportation was not very high while Sonya’s tolerance was abyssmal.
"If you can’t handle short distance teleportations like this, then you should stay back. You’ll be more of a burden than help to me." Simon said bluntly, his tone carrying utter indifference as he spoke.
Sonya looked at him, then she coughed a few times before coating her hand with her demonic energy and wiping away the vomit from the corner of her mouth.
"I’ll be fine. I’m Honourable Sonya. Space has nothing on this honourable."
Simon shook his head slightly.
It was obvious that she was not completely okay, but her perservance and pride was extremely high.
Losing to something as measly as teleportation would be extremely embarrassing to her.
’And I guess it’s not that surprising after all. She has an extremely high affinity for the earth element. The concepts of earth and space are... somewhat different and... the same.’
Simon shook his head the moment he had this thought.
Now was not the time to be lost in his own thoughts.
He looked at Akaza.
"Where are they?"
Akaza looked at his Grave Mark, and five seconds later, he answered.
"I’ve sent their location to you."
Simon looked at his Grave Mark, then he nodded.
"We’re moving." He said while holding Sonya and Akaza.
Sunless held his waist from behind.
As for Sonya, she had pale and somewhat terrified expression.
"We’re teleporting again?"
Simon nodded. "Yes."
Before Sonya could give a response, they vanished from Simon’s dorm room.
Another three seconds later, Black Midnight appeared in Simon’s room, looked around, then he sank into a shadow again.
As for Simon, Sonya, Akaza, and Sunless... they stood in front of a stunned and baffled Merath and Jorra.
Before anybody could react or say anything, Simon attacked.
