Chapter 431: Kragh
On their way to the training ground, Ormon said a few things to Simon along the way, but none of these things were important to Simon.
At some point, Ormon began to talk about the various demonesses he has slept with and the size of their breasts.
It was a conversation Simon was not interested in at all, but the only thing he could do was listen half-heartedly.
To his relief, they reached the training ground after walking for nearly ten minutes, but there was a figure at the center of the training ground.
Simon’s eyes glowed, and through the use of Sky Eyes, he was able to see the figure clearly.
However, there was no need for him to use Sky Eyes because the figure immediately stood and ran toward them.
The closer the figure got, the stranger Simon’s became behind his mask.
Why?
Because the figure was short… very short in Simon’s opinion.
In less than three seconds the short figure stood before both of them, and Simon had to look down to look at her.
The figure was a short demoness who was barely reaching up to Simon’s waist.
She was barefoot, had a dark brown skin with rough patches on some parts of her arms, and she was wearing a plain dark brown mask with no eye holes or mouth hole.
Her ears were pointed like that of an elf, and her hair was also brown, but at the same time, it was metallic and it looked like rusted metallic hair.
Simon narrowed his eyes for a moment, then he finally recalled what demon race this was.
’A Kragh.’
Kraghs were one of the demon races in the demon realm that had earth affinity and a Supreme Noble bloodline.
And a high percentage among the Kragh race had earth affinities at the B grade or higher.
A Kragh with a C grade affinity was regarded as a talentless and garbage Kragh, and they would be treated as outcasts for two reasons.
One is because the Kragh’s earth affinity was trash in their opinion.
Another is because of sight.
In exchange for their high earth affinity, a Kragh would either be born blind, would go blind after their coming of age rite, or would go blind with time.
And this depends on the grade of the Kragh’s earth affinity.
The higher a Kragh’s earth affinity, the faster a Kragh would lose their sight.
When Simon first heard about the Kraghs in his past life, he was very baffled and surprised because their race sounded like a cursed race.
How could one live their lives knowing that they would lose their sight eventually?
How could one live their lives not seeing a single thing?
In the past, Simon felt a little bit of pity for this cursed race, only just a little bit of pity.
But he later found out that the loss of their sight meant nothing to them because the ground was now their eyes.
A Kragh had the innate ability to sense vibrations that pass through the ground, and their sensitivity to this vibration was high.
And the higher the earth affinity of a Kragh, the higher their sensitivity to these vibrations.
Kraghs were one of the few demons with earth affinity that gave him serious problems.
’I remember the time I faced a Kragh that had a S grade earth affinity. It was a serious pain in the ass.’
’Their loss of sight means absolutely nothing to them.’
The easiest way to defeat a Kragh was by flying and launching attacks at them from the sky, and this was a serious weakness of the Kraghs.
However, the Kraghs developed a technique that would help them with this weakness.
As Simon looked at the short demoness before him, he wondered just who she was and how talented she was.
’And Kraghs are not usually this short.’
“You’re late, master.”
’Master?’ Simon blinked, then he looked at Ormon who chuckled and ruffled the little Kragh’s hair.
“Damn it master. I’ve told you to stop doing that.”
The little Kragh growled and slapped the hand of Ormon away, however, her voice was too cute for Simon or Ormon to take her seriously.
“My little and fierce Sonya, I was busy with him.”
Ormon pointed at Simon, and Sonya looked at him.
She looked at him from top to bottom, then she looked back at Ormon.
“Who is he? Did you guys just finish having an orgy or something?”
Ormon’s lips twitched, then he knocked the head of Sonya.
Boing!
“Your tongue is as sharp and unruly as ever. It seems the mission I gave you did nothing to temper you.”
Sonya grunted and held her head in pain. The moment she felt a bump on her head, she growled at her master.
“The hell did you do that for?! Is it my fault that you’re a pervert?!”
Boing
Another knock followed.
“Shut up.”
“Yes master.”
And Sonya immediately obeyed.
Simon watched all of this with confusion in his eyes.
What was going on?
And why was this midget here?
He looked at Ormon.
“Why is your disciple here?”
Ormon and Sonya looked at him, then Ormon cleared his throat and gestured at Sonya.
“This is Sonya, my second disciple. She would be your teacher.”
The confusion in Simon’s eyes deepened.
“My teacher? I thought you were going to be the one to teach me the Broken Rhythm Art. Or can she teach it to me effectively?”
Before Ormon could even respond, Sonya’s head snapped toward Ormon.
“You chose another disciple, master? I’m no longer the youngest?”
If she was not wearing a mask, Simon would have surely seen the stars in Sonya’s eyes.
“No.” Ormon shook his head.
The stars dimmed then died.
“Oh.”
She looked down with a downcast tone and expression behind her mask, then she looked at Simon with narrowed eyes.
“If he’s not going to be my younger brother, then who the hell is he? And why does he know the name of your technique, master?”
Sigh
Ormon could not help but hold the bridge of his nose and release a sigh of frustration.
“And when did I say I was going to teach you or teach him my technique?”
He shook his head, then he looked at Simon.
“She’s going to teach you how to fight like a proper brawler and not a swordsman.”
