Chapter 308: Flying
Chapter 308: 308: Flying
Belafar had an extremely dark expression hearing the words of Agramormos.
It was extremely humiliating to him, and he could not believe that Tibat and Agramormos actually believed that he would not be able to handle two mere First Years.
’All the First Years are trash, but when they treat these two like this, then it’s obvious they’re giving me the worst trash by telling me to fight those three.’
’And what is this? From the moment these two agreed to buy the book, there has been a strange chemistry between them.’
’I know that Agramormos is interested in bedding her, and maybe the bastard has even done that already, but there has never been this sort of strange chemistry between them.’
’When did they get so close?’
’Are they trying to betray the Vipers Nest in the near future? Are their backers trying to destroy the Vipers Nest?’
Due to the many thoughts he had regarding Agramormos and Tibat, he did not rage like how he would have done normally.
Instead, he became calm, gave both of them a gaze filled with a myriad thoughts, suspicion, and anger, then he did as he was told and approached Flaming Star, Storm Reaper, and Tempest Strider.
Agramormos was a little bit surprised when he saw this, but he didn’t think much of it.
As for Tibat, she had a slight frown behind her mask, but she said nothing and shifted her focus back to Jorra and Merath.
“For your sake, do not resist and willingly give up. Paying the exit fee is much better than getting injured or losing your life in an accident.”
Jorra immediately scoffed at Tibat’s words.
“First it was a protection fee, now it’s an exit fee. What’s next? A breathing fee?”
“Even if the fee is just one merit, I’m not paying shit to you trash.”
Jorra pointed at the duo.
“Attack.”
In the next moment, the three-tailed scorpion moved. It ran toward Agramormos and Tibat, and their expressions became slightly solemn.
Without saying a word, Agramormos ran toward the scorpion, and though it looked like he was going to clash with the scorpion, that was not the case.
The three-tailed scorpion swung one of its pincers at Agramormos, but a black root shot out of the ground and bound the pincer.
The scorpion screeched in fury, and to everybody’s surprise, Agramormos dashed past the scorpion at a fast speed.
His goal?
Merath.
Merath’s eyes widened slightly and she could not help but blink in surprise.
Before she could even say anything, Agramormos was already in front of her, his fist coming for her face.
Bang!
Agramormos’ fist hit the ground, and the eyes of the First Years widened in anxiety and disbelief.
No matter how much they thought about it, Merath was dead.
Ice Tyrant could not react to Agramormos’ speed, and his punch was enough to make him unconscious.
How could Merath who was smaller and more delicate than Ice Tyrant survive or react to the punch?
While the First Years and some other Initiates who were watching had these thoughts, Agramormos himself had a frown behind his mask.
He pulled his hand from the ground, then he looked to his left.
“Just like the book said. Your physical capabilities are way beyond your heart rank.”
Merath who was standing unscathed had a slight frown behind her mask.
“Book? What book?”
This was the second time she was hearing Agramormos and Tibat talk about a book that seemed to have given them some information about their abilities.
Though it did not seem to have anything concrete or important since it said Jorra was a Beast Master instead of a Cursed Spirit User, it was still strange knowing that there was a book that actually had information on them.
What else did it have?
Unfortunately for Merath, Agramormos did not give her the answer she wanted.
“It’ll be unfortunate if I have to break some bones of your sexy body. Why don’t you just surrender peacefully, then pay the exit fee.”
“If you offer up your body, I can even waiver the exit fee specifically for you.”
Merath tilted her head slightly and her lips curled into a slight smile.
“There are some girls that are way beyond your control. You should tread lightly.”
Agramormos laughed loudly, then he suddenly punched the air three times.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
Three compressed air shot forward, and Merath’s eyes flashed with a cold light.
She accurately weaved in between the three compressed air and shockwaves, drawing gasps of surprise from a few.
“Not done yet!”
Agramormos slammed his foot on the ground, then his heart began to beat loudly and at an extremely fast rate.
Badum
Badum
Badum
The floor trembled, then in the next moment, it shattered into pieces.
Stones of different sizes rose, then Agramormos’ punched each of the stones at an extremely fast speed, sending a horizontal rain of stones toward Merath.
“Seriously?”
Merath clicked her tongue in annoyance, then she tried her best to dodge the stones in a manner that would not expose her true physical capabilities.
The gears in her mind spun, and she glanced at the academy gate while dodging the rain of stones.
’Should I run back to the academy? If I do that, all of these will end.’
However, the moment she had these thoughts, she shook her head and immediately dismissed it.
’If I run, then two of them will fight Jorra, and he’ll be forced to expose more of himself. I can’t allow that.’
’What do I do?’
“You have the audacity to be lost in your thoughts? Do you think I’m a joke?”
Agramormos’ voice drifted in her eyes from behind her, and her eyes flickered.
’When did he get behind me? Did he move through the ground?’
Although she was taken aback by the sudden appearance of Agramormos behind her, she was extremely calm and even nonchalant about the entire thing.
She was about to dodge, but she suddenly found out that she could not.
She looked down, and her eyes widened slightly when she saw that two earth hands were holding her ankles from the ground.
’Shit.’
She could feel that Agramormos’ fist was inches away from reaching her, and though she could break apart the earth hands, it would reveal far too much.
Too many people were watching.
“Tch.”
She clicked her tongue, then she placed her arms in the path of the punch, coated her arms with thick blood red demonic energy, and protected her body.
In the next second…
BAM!
She was sent flying.
