“Many of you would not have noticed this because the ’force’ I’m talking about might seem negligible or you might be so used to it that you’ve considered it normal.”

Instructor Valdin shook his head while walking down the stairs.

“But I’m telling you now that that ’force’ is what is preventing many of you from having a much better control over your demonic energy.”

“If you want to be efficient in your input control, in transferring the demonic energy from your Demon Heart to the desired location or locations of your body, then you’ll need to learn how to draw out your demonic energy whenever your Demon Heart beats and releases a pulse.”

Instructor Valdin raised a finger.

“Your Demon Heart releases a pulse of little demonic energy whenever it beats, but if you draw out more energy whenever it beats, you’ll realize that it’s much easier for you to draw out more demonic energy from your Demonic Heart.”

“If you’re able to do this, then you’ll see that your demonic energy reserves would last longer, and your stamina would also last longer. Doing this would place less strain on your Demon Heart.”

Instructor Valdin went back to the teaching platform and stood with his arms behind his back.

“I’m sure a few of you might be wondering how efficient it’d be if you could only draw out your demonic energy whenever your Demon Heart beats.”

“What if you need to draw out your Demon Heart during an emergency?”

“What if you’re suddenly attacked from out nowhere? Would you need to wait for your heart to beat and release a pulse before you draw out more demonic energy from your Demon Heart?”

“What of during a battle? Do I have to continuously wait for my heart to release a pulse before I draw out more demonic energy?”

“Isn’t this method highly inefficient compared to being able to draw out your demonic energy whenever you wanted?”

The eyes of a few like Storm Reaper and Flaming Star brightened considerably at Instructor Valdin’s words.

These were all questions they had in their minds, and their wonderful instructor could accurately guess their thoughts.

“All these questions are valid questions, and they’re questions that were asked when this method was first discovered.”

Instructor Valdin paused and began walking to and fro with his eyes scanning across the classroom.

He continued.

“But what you’ve all forgotten is that when you’re fighting, when you’re in distress, and when you’re in a state of fight or flight, your heart rate increases. Which means, your pulse rate also increases.”

“And the wonderful thing about our Demon Hearts is that the stronger we get, the higher our heart ranks, the more our heart beats and releases pulses of demonic energy.”

“So, your thoughts on whether it’s efficient are very wrong.”

He swept his gaze across the class, his eyes lingering on Simon for just a second longer than the others.

“If you’re able to perfect your input control by doing this, and you’re also able to perfect your output control, I can promise you that you’ll be twice as strong compared to before.”

The eyes of many widened in disbelief and excitement, and a few could not help but give Simon a cold glance.

No wonder Simon was so powerful.

Was this the boon he was benefiting from having an extremely good control over his demonic energy?

Simon realized that the Chaos Flame burns constantly, even between pulses.

Whenever a Demon Heart beats, the force of the beat actually disturbs the already volatile Chaos Flame, and this causes it to release excess demonic energy naturally.

But this release is very little.

So, instead of waiting for pulses, Simon’s method involved him adjusting the intensity of the flame itself.

Simon stabilizes the Chaos Flame itself, and he found an optimal level where he could continuously draw out demonic energy from his Chaos Flame without having to experience the ’force’ Instructor Valdin was talking about.

Instead of bursts of energy, he suddenly feels a smooth stream of demonic energy that flows continuously.

This makes his flow of demonic energy smoother, more precise, and faster.

As Simon pondered on the words of Instructor Sormon, his eyes suddenly flashed with a creative glint.

’This might work. I might be able to improve my demonic energy control if I do that.’
