Chapter 256: What The Poison Does
Chapter 256: 256: What The Poison Does
Akaza noticed that Simon was looking at his classmates, and he narrowed his eyes with a thoughtful expression.
A few seconds later, he asked.
“Do you want us to make sure they don’t get in your way?”
Simon calmly looked at Akaza and raised a brow.
“I was able to handle everybody in the Iron Fangs including you. What makes you think that I can’t handle them?”
Akaza froze, and his expression became quite ugly behind his mask.
He had forgotten about the beating and embarrassment he received from Simon.
His balls still hurts from Simon’s kick back then.
“When will you give us the antidotes?”
He decided to shift the conversation from such an embarrassing topic.
“I thought you’d never ask.”
Simon snapped his fingers, then a brown pouch appeared in his hand. He handed it over to Akaza.
“Here. This is the antidote for every member of the clan. It’ll last for a week, then you’ll need to take it again unless you want the poison to act up.”
At the mention of the poison acting up, Akaza frowned deeply as he recalled another unpleasant memory.
When Simon first told him about the poison, he did not believe it back then. He believed that it was something that could be easily handled, and the remaining members of the Iron Fangs thought so too.
But after twelve hours, he experienced one of the worst pains he had ever experienced in his life.
The poison was not used to kill and neither was it used to cripple.
All it did was cause pain.
Every twelve hours, the poison would suddenly act up regardless of what the demon was doing.
And when it acts up, the demon’s sensitivity would suddenly increase by nearly a thousand times.
They became a thousand times more sensitive to things. Even the air felt more sensitive to them.
Akaza had made the mistake of trying to walk, but the moment he took a step, he fell because his brain was overloaded with too much information from how his feet felt touching the floor.
And the worst thing that happened was him falling.
Normally, such a fall would do him no harm or he would be able to react to the fall.
However, his brain was too slow in reacting to the sudden changes and he fell face flat on the ground.
The pain he felt right then and there made him scream.
Every nerve and pain receptor in his body worked like horses on steroids, and Akaza was so confused and lost when that happened to him.
He was not the only demon that suffered this. All the demons in the Iron Fangs suffered this, and some even experienced intense sensation when they were having sex.
One had just stuck their dick inside a pussy, and in the next moment, he experienced all the wonders of a pussy and came in less than five seconds.
He lost all face in front of the prostitute and he was certain that he was already a laughing stock amongst the prostitutes in the brothel.
Why wouldn’t many members of the Iron Fangs hate Simon and want to kill him?
Regardless of this, the poison made every member of the Iron Fangs to realize that they couldn’t defy Simon.
Some tried to use their demonic energy to purge the poison from their system, but the moment they did this, the poison became even more violent.
They feared the poison Simon gave them, and it was a leash around their necks, forcing them to obey all of Simon’s commands.
Akaza opened the pouch and saw numerous vials containing a light green liquid.
He frowned slightly seeing the liquid, then he closed the pouch.
’Maybe I should keep an extra antidote for myself. Losing one more member of the gang won’t affect anything.’
Although Akaza had fought for the Iron Fangs, at the end of the day, he did it for his own benefit and concern.
He was a demon, and he would always think about himself first before any other person… Unless he has no other choice.
For him, getting rid of the most useless member of the Iron Fangs would cause no harm to the gang.
Having one more antidote was more important to him than the life of a useless member of the gang.
“I’ll be taking my leave then.”
He turned around to leave, however, Simon called out to him.
“Akaza.”
Akaza frowned and turned.
“Don’t forget to send me a detailed receipt of today’s extortion. If you don’t and if I find out that I’ve been cheated or the receipt has been manipulated, there would be serious problems between us.”
Akaza immediately scoffed at Simon’s words. “Unlike you, Martial Demons don’t lie or deceive.”
Simon smiled behind his mask and did not speak against those words since they were true.
It was not that Martial Demons had things like honour or chivalry like human knights.
No.
They just had their own pride.
They felt that those who lied, deceived, and cheated others were cowards and weaklings.
They despised doing such things, and their pride would not allow them to do such a thing.
Simon knew this very well, but he had trust issues and he was not going to start trusting Akaza who he knew very little about, all because of his racial pride.
Akaza was about to walk away again, but Simon called him out again.
“Akaza.”
“What?!” Akaza turned and growled with a visibly annoyed gaze.
“I’ll need you to go shopping together with me tomorrow. Be prepared. I’ll send you the details later.”
“… What?” Akaza was stunned, but Simon did not bother explaining.
He nonchalantly waved his hand as he turned around.
“Don’t think too much about it. I’ll give you the details later.”
Akaza stood rooted on the spot for nearly a minute, and a terrifying thought appeared in his mind as he stared at Simon’s back.
’Does he plan on making me an errand boy?’ Akaza could not help but shiver at such thoughts.
