The next day, Nolan and Mark couldn’t wait to arrive at Lucas’s estate.
"Father, this Emperor seems to be much richer than our family!"
Mark had flown for a long time without flying out of the estate’s boundaries; this place’s area was simply terrifyingly huge.
Nolan flew with his arms crossed, shaking his head at the sight. "This is nothing. In the deep Universe, countless Planet are His Majesty’s territory. If you perform well, perhaps His Majesty will reward you with a Planet and let you manage that place."
"You’ve read Warhammer series comics, right? You should know about official positions like Rogue Traders—it’s pretty much like that!"
Mark’s heart surged with excitement.
A young man naturally had a passionate spirit, such as making contributions, becoming a superhero, and putting the goodness in his heart into practice.
Mark at this time hadn’t experienced being beaten up by his father, breaking up and getting back together with his girlfriend, being forcefully sat on by a caring older sister, plus taking all sorts of beatings and setbacks everywhere; he was still an innocent child.
...
High above in the sky, the special training immediately began.
Lucas stood with his hands behind his back on the clouds ten thousand meters up, looking at the father and son who had gathered all their concentration, and reminded them indifferently.
"The genes inside Viltrumite bodies are naturally born for combat. Only by repeatedly transcending the limits of body and spirit, bouncing back and forth on the edge of Death, can one force out the strongest potential. So... the force of my strikes later will be a bit heavy, you guys better hold on."
"Come on, Your Majesty!"
Nolan and Mark burst forward simultaneously, 2v1 besieging Lucas!
However, even though the father and son gave it their all, leaving behind overlapping afterimages, Lucas still had his hands in his pockets, stepping on the void, strolling leisurely as he dodged all the fatal moves, not even being able to touch a single strand of his clothes.
In the garden on the surface, Mira and Iveta stood side by side, looking up with their heads raised at the one-sided suppression high in the sky.
Mira sighed: "The strength of our bedmate is truly unfathomable... The several of us combined for so many years seem to have never truly broken through his defense, right?"
Iveta’s eyes were as charming as Water, and she giggled foolishly: "Who says there hasn’t been? Every time we step into the absolute peak of frenzy, I’ve bitten fiercely into his shoulders countless times ~"
Mira rolled her eyes at her in annoyance: "You’re asking for Death, who’s chatting with you about those pathetic things in the boudoir!"
Boom! Bang!
The special training quickly came to an end.
After figuring out the limits of the father and son, Lucas rewarded each of them with a punch, first piercing through Nolan’s abdomen, and then casually giving another slap that twisted Mark’s arm into a twist.
"This move is called Underwater Drop!"
Grabbing one in each hand, he completed the throw directly high in the sky.
The two of them successively smashed through the surface.
Screams echoed throughout the entire estate.
Nolan was long used to the excruciating pain of this kind of combat, so he could endure until Lucas healed him completely, but young Mark! He was in so much pain that cold sweat broke out all over his body, and his face turned pale.
Lucas healed Mark’s arm and reprimanded: "Remember, every true Viltrum warrior must learn to live with excruciating pain, converting pain into combat effectiveness. This is an indispensable part of your growth path."
Mark wiped away his cold sweat and nodded heavily.
This Emperor was much more ruthless than Nolan; just now he thought half of his body was going to be torn apart by the opponent.
Recovering from serious injuries, both Mark and Nolan’s strengths had increased to some extent.
Just from a single battle, Mark’s strength at least doubled or tripled.
Nolan had a slight improvement.
The starting points of the two were different.
The special training ended, and Lucas brought the father and son down to the ground, asking the four women to make some delicious food.
Don’t look at how fierce the four female Viltrumites were to outsiders; towards Lucas, they were simply meticulous. Not only did they teach themselves various Earth cuisines without complaint, but they also took care of his daily life, not letting him do a single piece of work.
These were the love-starved Viltrumites. Once they received even a tiny bit of affection, it would be repaid a million times over.
After being well-fed and filled with wine, Mark burped with satisfaction.
Lucas held a red wine glass filled with iced cola: "In the next few days, Mark, you can go to outer space to continue practicing your strength, such as pushing a few small Planet with your bare hands, carrying meteorites, and completely stabilizing your newly gained strength."
"As for Nolan, you only need to come find me once every three days."
"Yes, Your Majesty!" The father and son respectfully took their leave.
After sending off the father and son, Iveta clung to Lucas’s delicate body like a water snake, asking sweetly: "Lucas, why do you value that half-blood kid so much? How about we raise one too?"
"What do you mean by ’one’?" Cassandra said with a look of dissatisfaction, "Get lost, this is my spot!"
Iveta glared fiercely back.
"Then after I’m done using him, wouldn’t it be fine to reward you with one?"
Mira body-checked her, directly shoving Iveta out and occupying the ecological niche herself.
"Could a good thing like this ever reach your turn? In your dreams!"
The only one who didn’t participate in the competition was Belesa.
With a quiet temperament, she patiently cleaned up the leftovers on the table, watching her sisters scuffle and couldn’t help showing a satisfied smile. Through this millennia of companionship, there was also a deep friendship between them, as well as a strong camaraderie.
Lucas stroked Mira’s hair, "Don’t underestimate that young man; his future upper limit might be higher than all of you combined. Who knows, he might surpass Thragg and become a pillar of the Empire!"
The four women were secretly startled.
Lucas was clear about the development of the plot. Mark’s years on Earth were his greenest period where he took the most setbacks.
As the saying goes, a young hero is not invincible, and an invincible one is no longer a young hero. When Mark truly awakened and became completely invincible, he would already be several hundred years old.
Mark at that time would be comparable to the Ultra King of the Land of Light.
The four women directly skipped this topic and pestered Lucas for descendants. If there was anything that hadn’t changed over a thousand years, besides their deepening love for Lucas, it was this desire for children.
The Emperor still had no descendants to this day!
How could this do?
Just as Lucas was about to start getting hands-on, his mind suddenly stirred, and he looked toward the horizon: "Forget it, let’s make a fuss to our heart’s content later. An old friend of mine has arrived, perhaps he will give me a different answer!"
With that said, Lucas rose straight up from the ground.
At the edge of the boundless Solar System, a rugged figure followed closely behind—it was Conquest, who had made up his mind.
Lucas stood with his hands behind his back in front of the scorching yellow Sun, asking without turning his head.
"Have you thought it through, old friend?"
Conquest stood behind him, saying in a rough voice: "I am willing to submit to you and offer my life to the Empire, but I have one condition!"
"Speak."
"I want to continuously challenge you until one day, I trample you under my feet!"
Lucas chuckled: "Very well, but the time of the challenge will be decided by me, at most once a month."
Conquest muttered his agreement.
Lucas turned around, cast a healing spell, and casually cured all the chronic hidden injuries that Conquest had accumulated inside his body over the past thousand years.
Next, he just needed to get Conquest a dog!
