"Ha... Hahaha! Lucas! You bastard, you finally showed up!" Conquest checked his decline, wiped the blood from his face, and threw his head back in excited laughter.

Meanwhile, Nolan’s expression changed drastically, his eyes bursting with incomparable reverence and panic.

Without hesitation, he pulled Mark beside him. Though both were beaten black and blue, they knelt on one knee in the void toward Lucas, and Nolan even pressed Mark’s head down.

"Your Majesty! This subordinate is incompetent and failed to stop Conquest from disturbing the surface. Please punish me, Your Majesty!"

Lucas floated in front of Nolan with his hands behind his back, looking down at the father and son from above. After a long while, he let out a soft sigh and patted Nolan on the shoulder.

"Nolan, I haven’t seen you in a thousand years, and you’ve aged quite a bit. But after becoming a father, your demeanor has grown even steadier. Is this the child you had with an Earth woman? That tenacity looks a lot like you when you were young."

Enduring the intense pain, young Mark lowered his head tremblingly: "G-Greetings, Your Majesty the Emperor."

Only after close contact did he feel the majesty of this emperor.

Even a gentle smile gave people the feeling as if a mountain was pressing down on their shoulders, making them unable to move an inch.

"Get up."

With a casual wave of Lucas’s hand, two streams of radiance swept past. The terrifying and fatal injuries on Nolan and Mark instantly healed completely at a speed visible to the naked eye, leaving behind no hidden ailments!

"Since we chose to live in seclusion on this small Planet, there is no need to stick to the old red tape of the empire back then." Lucas smiled as he sized up Mark, nodding in encouragement, "Mark, as the younger generation of the empire, in the long years to come, your generation is the cornerstone supporting the starry sky."

"I have high hopes for you, Mark!"

After encouraging invincible, Lucas finally cast his gaze toward Conquest.

"Back then, I protected you from the virus catastrophe, saving you from turning into dry bones like those decaying ones. I wonder if you still remember!"

Conquest snorted and said in a rough voice: "Of course I remember that! For the past thousand years, I’ve traveled across half the Universe just to hack the traitor who dropped the virus into a thousand pieces, but unfortunately, Thaddeus hid too deep!"

"Thaddeus is dead." Lucas’s tone was calm, "I took action personally and completely reduced him to ashes."

"Bah! Serves him right! Scum who betray the empire deserve this end!" Conquest spat out a mouthful of bloody spit, his fighting spirit soaring instantly as he clenched his fists tightly, "Then next, it’s my turn to seek your instruction! Come and fight!"

Lucas gently shook his head, his expression as calm as still water: "Conquest, the gap in strength between you and me is even greater than the gap between you and this child Mark. I have long since grown tired of toying with the weak; true powerhouses only swing their blades at stronger opponents."

"How dare you insult me?"

Conquest flew into an uncontrollable rage, stepping into the void. His iron fist, strong enough to collapse continental plates, slammed directly toward Lucas’s face with a determination to kill.

Mark involuntarily cried out in shock and hurriedly retreated.

However, facing this punch capable of shattering stars, Lucas didn’t even blink. He still stood in place with his hands behind his back, too lazy to even dodge.

Boom! Crash!

A violent collision erupted!

Conquest’s devastating punch landed solidly on Lucas’s nose tip, but the defense-breaking effect imagined did not happen at all. Lucas’s skin and flesh were like the hardest rock, suffering no damage whatsoever. Instead, the recoil force directly shattered the bones of Conquest’s right arm, causing blood to spurt from the webbing of his thumb!

"Impossible! It’s only been a mere millennium! How could you grow to this extent?"

Conquest was hysterical, throwing punches frantically. Shadows of fists filled the sky like a storm smashing against Lucas, yet they could only stir up a series of futile shockwaves.

Lucas’s pure physical mass had long since touched the sixth dimension. Placed in the three-dimensional Universe, those physical blows were no different from blowing air; he couldn’t even feel them.

This was the difference between the God of Destruction and a farmer with a gun.

"Have you hit enough?"

Lucas’s expression was cold as he simply raised his index finger and flicked it lightly through the air.

Swish!

An irresistible force blasted Conquest away like a shooting star, smashing him straight from ten thousand meters in the air into the bottom of the vast Pacific Ocean!

Seeing this, the four women including Cassandra and Mira saw the murderous aura in their eyes soar. They were about to rush forward to gang up on Conquest, their desire for battle also being stimulated. Likewise, the Viltrumite habit of ganging up was slowly awakening.

Lucas raised his hand to stop them.

He stepped forward, his figure like lightning, instantly descending to the bottom of the deep sea!

Bang!

Lucas stepped on Conquest’s chest with one foot, with such immense force that it miraculously emptied the seawater out into a hollow zone several miles in radius!

Then he gently pressed with his left hand, activating the law of causality to completely erase the impact of the tsunami on the surface civilians.

Conquest lay in the deep trench of the seabed, breathing heavily. Gritting his teeth, he reached out and grabbed Lucas’s big foot planted on his chest for dear life.

"If you want to kill me, kill me! I would rather die in battle as a warrior than be a surviving slave like Nolan!"

"Foolish!"

Lucas’s expression sank, and the roar he let out alone was enough to cause blood to flow from Conquest’s seven orifices.

"Could your personal life, Death, and dignity override the glory of the entire empire? Tell me! Are you a defender of the empire’s glory or a perfidious coward?"

Lucas threw a punch, tearing open a void directly leading to the mantle in the deep trench!

"Death is easy, but holding onto your beliefs is hard. Are you going to be a coward, or continue to guard the empire’s borders and be a true Viltrum warrior!"

Looking at Conquest, whose eyes were filled with immense struggle, Lucas’s stern and hard expression suddenly softened.

He bent down, reached out to pull the veteran up, patted the sediment on his shoulder, and spoke as warmly as an old friend catching up:

"Conquest, you are one of the few close friends I have left in this world. We witnessed The Great Purge of the old era and bore witness to the past glory of the empire. A thousand years ago, you and I forged a bond in blood and fire. Are you going to throw this stubborn friendship behind you?"

Lucas gazed at him deeply and patted his shoulder: "I recognize your combat power, your merits, and even more, the pride of a veteran on your body. I regard you as a close friend... Do not let me down. Three days later, come find me, and I want to hear your answer."

With that, Lucas rose from the ground, breaking through the water curtain and shooting straight into the clouds.

Leaving Conquest alone, stunned in the dead depths of the seabed as the surrounding seawater began to rush back in.

...

Above ten thousand meters in the sky.

The father-son duo of Nolan and Mark were still frozen in place.

Mark tremblingly peeked at the four women. Although these four women wore fashionable Earth clothing, stood tall, and possessed unparalleled allure, their eyes were as cold as a glacier that hadn’t melted in ten thousand years.

Falling upon their father and son, filled with the scrutiny of high-ranking nobility, it was even more creepy than Conquest from just moments ago.

Mark swallowed a mouthful of saliva, finally deeply understanding Nolan’s words.

Female Viltrumites were truly terrifyingly fierce.

Hum!

The void rippled slightly, and Lucas flashed back.

Almost the moment Lucas appeared, the knife-cold murderous aura in the eyes of the four women melted like ice and snow, instantly turning into an unresolvable tenderness as they scrambled to press against Lucas’s sides.

Docile just like delicate kittens.

"Oh my! Big brother, I have no strength left!"

Mark watched in dumbfounded amazement.

Let alone Mark, even Nolan was dumbfounded.

If his dad back then had a tenth of Lucas’s skills in picking up girls, he wouldn’t have been beaten into an idiot by his biological mom.

"You four go home first; don’t wait for me for dinner." Lucas patted Mira’s slender hand, turned to look at Nolan, and smiled, "Tonight I’m visiting your home as a guest, and by the way, I’ll taste your wife’s cooking. Nolan, you wouldn’t not welcome me, right?"

Nolan was flattered and hurriedly bowed while waving his hands: "Your Majesty visiting in person is my honor!"

"I’ve already said, there’s no need to stick to old rituals on Earth; just call me by my name." Lucas pointed at the dazed Mark, "Mark, you too. The new empire doesn’t do that old routine."

Nolan embarrassedly touched the back of his head and laughed heartily.

Mark muttered to himself that this Emperor Majesty didn’t have much of an air about him. He wondered if he could ask him to teach him how to win a woman’s favor instead of being a loser at school!
