The Boys: Viltrumite Evolution Panel
Chapter 239 Lucas Makes a Move
Nolan’s eyes split with rage as he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and hissed, "Trash that betrays the Empire... is the real trash! Die!"
The two engaged in a bloody, brutal hand-to-hand fight on the edge of the atmosphere.
Meanwhile, in a remote town on Earth, there was a luxurious and unique manor.
It covered tens of thousands of acres.
Sunlight spilled into the flower-filled garden.
Lucas, who had been sitting on a stone stool tasting tea, raised his brows slightly and slowly lifted his head. His gaze pierced through the barrier of the atmosphere, looking at the fiercely contested battlefield in outer space.
Behind him, Mira wore an elegant casual dress. Her tall and plump figure exuded a mature and alluring charm, truly a captivating housewife. The woman’s waist swayed slightly, emitting a charming fragrance.
She wrapped her arms around Lucas’s broad shoulders from behind, pressing her delicate body against his back, and said with orchid-like breath:
"Lucas... What’s wrong? Is something happening outside?"
Lucas patted the back of her hand. Having not fought for many years, violent power still brewed within Mira’s muscle fibers, capable of easily snapping the neck of a peak Viltrum warrior.
Her combat power was already on par with Nolan.
"It’s nothing. An old friend has come to visit. Come to think of it, you all know him—it’s that old bag of bones, Conquest."
Living room sofa.
Cassandra perked up her ears, listening intently to their conversation. She was reading an Earth philosophy book, and her expression changed slightly upon hearing this.
A thousand years had passed.
But under Lucas’s nourishment, not only did the appearances of the four lovely wives bear no trace of the passing years, but they were even younger and more radiant than when they were first met. Their blood qi and combat states were maintained at their most perfect peak.
Where else could one find four young Viltrum beauties brimming with housewife charm!
Swish!
Cassandra closed the book in her hand, her slender and delicate body levitating out of thin air. A well-fitted Earth-style long dress set off her flawless supermodel figure.
Viltrum women were always slender, well-proportioned, and elegant, but their tempers were often explosive as well.
Especially toward outsiders.
A trace of cold ferocity flashed in Cassandra’s eyes: "Conquest? Daring to disturb our lives... Lucas, I’ll go and obliterate him for you, both to clear out the traitor for the Empire and for the Emperor!"
Through years of companionship, the four women were no longer as estranged as they used to be; their forms of address had become intimate, resembling true wives.
Yet whenever business matters were involved, they reverted to their former rigid demeanor.
Lucas smiled, pressed his hand down, and stood up: "There’s no need for that. Since an old friend has come from afar, naturally I should go see him in person. I really do miss this rugged warrior, so none of you are allowed to be rash!"
With that, Lucas took a step forward, his figure soaring up from the ground, directly piercing through the void to arrive outside the atmosphere in an instant!
Behind him, the four peerlessly stunning Viltrum beauties—Cassandra, Belesa, Mira, and Iveta—each wearing Earth clothing of distinct styles, closely followed Lucas like stars surrounding the moon, swaying their graceful figures in turn!
This made for an even more dazzling landscape than the four old crones of the Prince of Emptiness.
...
On the edge of the atmosphere, the brutal slaughter continued.
It was the unique grueling combat method of the Viltrumites.
Both Nolan and Conquest were covered in blood, and the sound of cracking bones was endless. As powerful as Omni-Man was, he still showed signs of decline when facing Conquest. Father and son joining forces could at most force Conquest to cope frantically, but they still couldn’t kill him.
Mark was still a teenager and couldn’t go for the kill like Nolan.
Similarly, Conquest deliberately held back his strength so as not to kill Mark with a single blow; after all, he hadn’t seen such a young Viltrum cub in a long time.
Deep within the surface, the situation was equally a mess.
The vast majority of the Guardians of the Globe members had been sent to the intensive care unit, and only the Immortal, who had just passed out of mortal danger, still retained a shred of combat power.
Cecil of the Earth Defense Agency looked grim, attempting to activate the space-based star-destroyer cannon for a devastating strike. However, before the beam could condense, the vast array of space stations was literally torn into scattering scrap metal by the aftermath of the high-altitude battle!
"Foolish fellow!" Nolan spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva, his eyes filled with disdain.
Mortals like Cecil always attempted to use crude technology to oppose gods, yet they fundamentally did not understand that the physiques of Viltrumites had long transcended the shackles of technology. What kind of weapon could deal with a physical body capable of faster-than-light jumping?
But Cecil still sent out the Immortal; at least the Immortal’s combat power was stronger than Mark’s current strength.
"I really don’t know what this waste of a Planet has that is worth you clinging to?" Conquest rubbed his chin.
"Because my family is here!"
Nolan did not back down at all, even though the injuries on both sides were tragically extreme.
"Bullshit! Can the lifespans of these mundane people compare to our race? Their physical bodies are as fragile as paper, and with a slight twitch of a finger, they can be torn to pieces. A race like this doesn’t deserve to survive in the stars at all!"
Conquest remained arrogant.
Nolan sneered incessantly, "You simply don’t know, Conquest! Earth’s gene pool is superior to any alien race. Mark is the proof; can’t you see the potential in him?"
"Potential?"
Conquest laughed wildly, "At the same age, Lucas could already severely wound me. Your son is probably afraid he can’t even lift a stone—does a loser like that even deserve to have his potential mentioned!"
"He wouldn’t even live to see his coming-of-age ceremony on our Planet!"
"There’s nothing to be proud of in that. The old empire turned people into ghosts, while in the new empire, every Viltrumite should grow up in a healthy environment," Nolan said in a deep voice.
He wouldn’t kill Mark the way his mother had treated him back then.
Having one biological mother was enough.
"Talking to an ox!"
Neither of them could convince the other, so they began to charge at full force, like two meteors about to crash into each other.
Hum!
The void suddenly solidified!
A figure wearing a casual robe descended without warning right in the middle of the two.
Lucas stood with his hands behind his back, not even mobilizing a shred of divine power. He simply stretched out both hands to the sides in an unconcerned manner, using a single palm each to effortlessly catch the all-out onslaught of Nolan and Conquest!
Boom!
The absolute kinetic energy, enough to pierce through the entire continental shelf, was absorbed and digested by his infinite-mass physical body the moment it touched Lucas’s palms!
The aftermath turned into a ring of halo that burst outward, shattering countless distant meteors and various space debris into dust, while Lucas’s towering body did not even sway by a fraction!
Relying purely on his physical body, he effortlessly blocked the peak death match of two top Viltrumites!
This already exceeded the scope of normal Viltrumites.
Because Viltrumites feared being ganged up on; even the Grand Regent Thragg could not simultaneously handle the strangulation of three peak Viltrumites.
