Chapter 156: Hillel Becomes A Dad!

It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.

Hillel shot into the high sky. A huge divine voice rolled out across the void.

"Demon from another world, leave. We made this place."

"You made it? Cute. It’s mine now."

Hillel picked his nose.

He could punch Earth into dust. Taking their little sandbox to play with was nothing.

People planted a flag on a continent and called it theirs. He found this world, pissed on it, and called it done. Same trick. Heritage, baby.

They wanted to talk about creating worlds. Did they even know how?

"Insolent!"

The Red God’s will tried to crawl into Hillel’s head. Mental control bounced off him like rain on steel.

"Great Other, Red God, I don’t care. Eat a punch first."

Hillel laughed. The cloak blew apart. Under it sat the red and white Viltrum suit.

No more playing nice.

Cards on the table.

Daddy’s a Viltrum... Saiyan. Hand over the world.

R’hllor took shape in the empty dark.

He became roaring fire and raw divine light, parked on a throne made from this realm’s first flame.

Hillel found it pretty. Then he looked at it the other way.

The thing was a molecular cloud floating in space before any sun got born. Hillel had watched a star light up inside the Pillars of Creation with his own eyes. He would watch that same star die.

R’hllor the Red God was a leftover scrap of will.

Odds were he ran here from some other world. The Great Other and the Drowned God were the same breed. The Stranger, the death god, felt more local.

All of them were weak as hell.

Hillel threw a punch.

Nuclear fusion went off. R’hllor’s throne shattered into sparks.

Hillel boxed the fight in a force field so the splash damage wouldn’t knock Earth back to rocks and sticks.

"No! How can a higher will sit inside you?!"

R’hllor had been cooking some sneak play. Then he felt something that scared him stupid.

"Huh. Dear System?"

Hillel shook his head. "He’s on the run from another world’s God-will, sure. Squashing you is still like squashing a dog. Don’t run. Daddy’s putting you to sleep."

He didn’t stop moving. Second punch.

R’hllor blew apart on the spot.

Will and divine power winked out of the void, erased like someone had wiped a stain.

Hillel dropped into the North. White Walkers were pouring south in a full march. He turned and cut with a Viltrum hand-blade. The land north of the North split. A giant abyss killed any chance of a full invasion.

Then he fired Omega Beams and wiped hundreds of thousands of Walkers off the map.

He looked at the Land of Always Winter. The Great Other’s house was a coward’s hole. Omega fire turned it to scrap.

By DC rules, local gods can bully an eight-year-old Darkseid. New Gods grow up and pin you down.

Hillel was the New God here.

Or there were no gods here. A pack of small gods had beaten each other’s brains in and still couldn’t own the whole map.

Hillel ended the argument for them.

None of you run the place. I take one step forward, you take ten thousand back. How about I call the shots?

The Great Other followed R’hllor into whatever afterlife they had coming.

Next Hillel clapped his hands over Blackwater Bay.

A shockwave ripped the sea open. An abyss hundreds of kilometers long tore the floor. The Drowned God’s tentacles and deep-sea will died at the bottom.

In less than half a day. Every native god in this world was gone, no debate, no courtesy.

...

[Ding!]

[All the deities of this world have been wiped out. World core extraction complete...]

[Host has reached 100% Conquest. This world is taken.]

[World authority unlocked. Host has absolute control.]

[Divine power extraction complete.]

[Enhancement gained — Omega Vision (Omega Effect unlocked)]

The Omega Beams in Hillel shifted at the level of cause and effect. He pulled out the real prize, the Omega Effect.

(Omega Effect: absolute tracking, molecular rebuild, causality erase, causality revive, except for a few special cases.)

At the same time divine power packed his bones and muscle. Raw physical power blew past planet-tier, skipped the small-star bracket, and landed in star-tier.

Max the bloodline back in The Boys world and the number would jump again.

After that he could go make a mess in DC if he felt like it.

On top of the body upgrade, he owned this realm. He could rebuild King’s Landing atom by atom, shove continental plates around in his head, and use full world-making authority: molecular construction, even planet-making.

The catch was Creation Mode only worked in worlds he had already conquered.

Hillel stayed three more years.

He wanted to watch Daenerys run the country. What he got was temples. She spent those years stacking giant houses of worship for him. Towers went up one after another. The Supreme Temple of Hillel.

She pulled seventy percent of the able-bodied men in the realm into the work. Most of the empire’s output got squeezed dry. Common folk started cursing a tyrant-god who sucked mortals dry to build his altar.

"Daenerys. This shit makes it hard for me to leave."

Hillel meant to lock this world’s clock to the main universe. Hundreds or thousands of years on, Game of Thrones might grow into a tech world.

So why was she building wonders?

"To keep your eyes on me. The smallfolk can hurt a little first." Daenerys did not look sorry.

Fine.

She was not the Mad King. This was close enough. She wrecked the country for a smile.

Wonders eat kingdoms. Everybody knows that.

"I already told you. I have no interest in kids with you. I have a partner."

Daenerys went to one knee. "My God. This empire stays on the rails only if you own it. Mortals die. I want your bloodline on the throne forever. This country. This world."

Hillel thought it over.

Not the worst idea.

Put his own son on every world he took. Let the numbers move. Change was the only constant.

"Alright. You talked me into it."

He nodded. Daenerys lit up. Her talent for ruling was average. The worship was not.

...

One year later.

Hillel’s first son was born.

No omens in the sky. No powers at birth. He looked like any other baby.

Daenerys did not get it.

"My abilities will pass down. Take care of him. He’ll wake up one day and run this world for me." Hillel rubbed her head.

The ice-queen everyone else feared went soft in his arms.

"Our son... what do we name him?" Daenerys asked.

Hillel thought for a second. "Gohan."

"That name is strange." She said it straight.

It was strange.

Westeros did not name kids like that. Starting today, it would.

"Heh~ It’ll catch on. You’ll see more names like it."

Hillel stayed with mother and son a few years and did the father job as much as he could, until Gohan first woke his power.

"Father, how is it?" High in the air Gohan could barely hold his shape and not drop.

"Not bad. Starting strength is eight tons. You’ve got supersonic flight. Heat Vision hasn’t shown yet. The Omega Beams may or may not pass down. Watch your own awakening closely, ok?"

Hillel said it more than once.

Gohan nodded. He caught about half of it.

Eight tons. Supersonic. Same starting line I had. Question is how far he goes. Hillel watched and waited.

Then it was time to leave.

"Father, you’re going?"

Gohan was still a kid. Holding on was normal.

"Yeah, I will come back every week. Protect your mother well. Also, study more experience in managing the country. Our race has a very long lifespan, so don’t be afraid of making mistakes; you will have plenty of opportunities to improve yourself."

"Mhm."

Gohan nodded hard.

Hillel smiled. His body faded out.
