Chapter 123 Second Floor Boss
After Jet killed his own opponent, Leon casually walked over with a grin. “Do you mind?” He asked, tilting his head toward the corpse of the monster that laid at his feet. There were many tears and cracks in its armor, which were all caused by Jet’s spatial attacks.
“Go ahead.” Jet hesitantly nodded and stepped away. He watched as Leon rose the creature from the dead as a loyal subordinate and involuntarily gulped. If he crossed Leon, the he felt as if Leon could do the same and kill him before turning him into a summon as well.
The newly summoned Armored Centaur General rushed into battle, leaving the two of them watching. Jet turned to Leon with a thoughtful look.
“Only your summons have been killing the monsters, so the next floor is mine. I need to level up my dungeon.” He said seriously.
p
[Your Dark Abyss Dungeon has leveled up to B rank!]
All of a sudden, a level up notification popped out in front of Leon, startling him, but it was not for himself. Rather, it was the Dark Abyss Dungeon that had leveled up. This made Leon laugh some more, but Jet did not put a lot of thought into it.
When the last armored monster was killed, Leon then used a large amount of mana, up to sixty percent of his entire mana level to raise them all and turn them into his summons. Such a large exhaustion of mana at once left him tired, so he needed to rest.
Sitting down against a wall, Leon looked to the large metal double doors that laid at the end of the hall. He was certain that this door led to the boss room. There, they would fight the boss and get a lot of rewards before moving on. In fact, he did not mind it if someone else made it to the next floor before he did. If that happened, then he could simply go ahead to the next floor.
“You’re pretty strong. I bet you could beat me if we fought now.” All of a sudden, Jet who remained standing said.
“Huh, really?” Leon snorted and sighed. He was tired. The fighting was exciting, but he wanted to rest. Unfortunately, it was not time for him to rest yet. He still had a very long journey ahead of himself.
Boom!
All of a sudden, a loud explosion rang out through the hallway. From the sound and vibrations, the explosion was not too close, but it was still close enough for them to hear and feel.
“I think we should head into the boss room.” Jet said, taking a step towards the boss room.
“Yeah, I think so too.” Leon nodded and quickly gathered his summons. The hundreds of monsters stood in front of him while the doors to the boss room opened up on its own when they displayed the intention to challenge the floor boss.
Booom!
Another explosion rang out behind them just as the doors began to close behind them. Leon cast a look back before turning his attention forward.
The boss room was wide and open, but not as large as the boss room of his dungeon. Massive floor to ceiling windows were placed all over the hall, and hundreds of armored figures stood around the wall. They came in all shapes and sizes, with some even being up to five meters in height!
At the end of the hall was a large throne. From what Leon could tell, the armored giant sitting on the throne was around ten meters tall in height, and there was no doubt that it was a Peak C rank being. The menacing aura it radiated was enough to cause his bones to develop a chill.
As the armored monsters all around the hall noticed their presence, they started to rouse from their slumber. The sounds of metal clanking against metal was loud in Leon’s mind as he began to prepare for the fight. He did not have the chance to recover his mana so he quickly pulled out a few vials of high grade mana recovery potion. At once, his mana levels surged up, and his recovery rate was also boosted; a perk that came with a high grade potion. It boosted his recovery rate temporarily while the lower grade ones simply restored a bit of mana. This mana potion had come from the treasury of the Dark Abyss Dungeon. Even its vial was exquisite.
He was ready. Even Nedra was roaring to have a go at the monsters. She had been holding herself back because of Jet, but now it seemed like Jet did not have any bad intentions toward Leon.
With a loud cry, the Armored Centaur Generals at the front, and Nero led the charge, sprinting forward to clash against the hundreds of armored monsters that protected the boss of this floor. Right behind them were Grokus, Marcus, Kaladin, and a few others. Hundreds of B rank summons and thousands of C rank summons charged to do Leon’s bidding.
Conquer all opposition!

.
“They weren’t too bad.” A burly red haired man with minimal armor covering his body said. What armor he had was leather armor which was much easier for him to move in. He man threw aside the head of an armored monster and disregarded the kill notification that popped out in front of him. The experience he got from the Mid B rank monster did not interest a Peak B rank fighter like himself.
“The ones before the Boss room should be stronger, and those in the boss room will be even more stronger, Father.” A red haired lady said with a smile. She was Maria, who had seen Leon’s battle through a unique skill of hers.
The man who had spoken earlier was her father, and the younger man who remained silent beside her father was her older brother. She turned around and her eyes shone with a bright pink light. After a moment, the skill went off and she spoke.
“The Boss room is just down here.” She said, leading them down another path.
