The Billionaire's Heir I Never Knew Was Mine

Chapter 181: Weekend with Skylar

Chapter 181: Weekend with Skylar

"Really?"

Skylar’s eyes immediately lit up, and seeing his excitement made it impossible for her to consider canceling their plans. He had been looking forward to this outing ever since she mentioned it.

"Yes. I remember you telling me you’ve never been there before. Besides, I want to go too."

"Hm. I’ve never been there."

The bright excitement in his eyes dimmed slightly, and a trace of sadness crossed his face.

"Daddy never takes me there. I’ve only seen it on television."

A moment later, his gaze returned to her injured hand.

"But, Aunty... your injury."

"Don’t worry about it." Sienna smiled reassuringly. "It’s only a small injury. I’m still perfectly capable of accompanying you today, and we’ll still have fun together."

Reassured by her confidence, Skylar finally relaxed.

The two of them continued enjoying their breakfast while preparing for their trip to the amusement park.

...

Infinite Dreams Land.

The amusement park looked huge and modern. Although it had only been operating for five years, it had already become one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions.

Sienna had never been there before, and she couldn’t hide her excitement. The visit felt even more special because she was sharing the experience with Skylar.

She glanced at him and couldn’t help but smile. The little boy stared through the car window at the enormous entrance gate, completely mesmerized by the scene before him.

"Are you ready, Sky?" Sienna asked.

Skylar immediately turned to her, his face shining with excitement.

"Yes, I am ready!" he shouted enthusiastically. "Let’s go, Aunty!"

He quickly adjusted his backpack and put on his baseball cap.

Sienna smiled even wider at how adorable he looked. She reached over and straightened his cap before putting on her own matching one.

Just as they were about to get out of the car, Logan spoke from the driver’s seat.

"Ma’am, young master, I’ll accompany you inside."

Sienna turned to look at him and immediately understood from his expression that he had no intention of leaving them alone. After what had happened the previous day, she knew there was no point arguing with him.

"Alright. You can park the car, and I’ll buy a ticket for you."

"It’s fine, ma’am. Someone will park the car."

With that, Logan stepped out and opened the door for Sienna before hurrying around to open Skylar’s door as well.

"Someone? Logan, what do you—"

She didn’t get the chance to finish her sentence.

A man in a black suit suddenly approached the vehicle. After exchanging a brief greeting with Logan, he took over responsibility for the car.

Noticing her confusion, Skylar stepped closer and took her hand.

"Aunty," he said, pointing toward the man who had replaced Logan, "that man is Daddy’s bodyguard."

Sienna had already guessed as much.

She nodded and smiled at him.

"Alright, let’s go. We need to buy an entry ticket for Logan."

She started walking toward the ticket counter. She and Skylar already had fast-track tickets because she had purchased them online in advance.

Before they had gone very far, Logan moved closer and lowered his voice.

"Ma’am, there’s no need. I already have a card to enter this place."

He pulled an access card from his wallet and showed it to her.

Sienna stared at it in surprise. She hadn’t expected Logan to have an access card.

"Wow, you have an access card? You actually like coming to places like this?" she asked, genuinely amazed.

Logan nodded and replied quietly, as though he didn’t want anyone else to hear. "Yes, ma’am. I come here often, so they gave me this card."

Sienna nearly stumbled over her own feet.

She couldn’t believe it.

Logan always appeared serious and professional, so imagining him spending his free time at an amusement park was completely unexpected. Usually, she associated places like this with children, teenagers, or parents spending time with their kids.

She wanted to ask more about his hobby, but Logan had already slowed his pace and fallen slightly behind, allowing her and Skylar to walk ahead together.

Once they entered the park, Sienna immediately noticed how crowded it was. People filled every pathway, and the lines at most attractions stretched surprisingly far.

She wasn’t surprised. It was the weekend, after all.

Fortunately, she had anticipated the crowds and purchased fast-track passes so they wouldn’t have to spend half the day waiting in line.

As they continued walking, Sienna turned to Skylar, who was still busy taking in everything around him. His eyes moved from one attraction to another, filled with curiosity and excitement.

"Is there a ride you’d like to try first?" she asked.

Skylar looked up and nodded immediately.

"Yes! Let’s ride the roller coaster!"

He pointed toward a huge roller coaster towering in the distance.

Sienna followed the direction of his finger and couldn’t help blinking.

That wasn’t a roller coaster designed for children. It was one of the largest rides in the park, the kind that even many adults avoided.

"Are you sure you want to ride that?" she asked, uncertain whether he understood how intense it would be. "That roller coaster looks scary."

"I’m not afraid of heights," Skylar replied confidently as he grabbed her hand and tugged her forward. "Let’s go!"

"Alright!" Sienna laughed.

She was excited, too. Roller coasters had always been among her favorite rides.

"Let’s go!"

However, just as they were about to enter the fast-track lane, Logan stopped her.

"Ma’am, you can’t ride that. Your stitches might reopen."

His words immediately brought her back to reality. Like a bucket of cold water, they reminded her of the injury she had almost forgotten.

Logan was right. She couldn’t take that risk.

"Aunty, you can’t ride it?" Skylar asked carefully.

Sienna smiled apologetically. "Yes. My wound could open again if I ride it. That roller coaster is too extreme. Can we try something else?"

Skylar thought about it for a moment before pointing toward another attraction nearby.

"How about that one? Can you ride it?"

Sienna followed his finger and saw a smaller roller coaster designed for children and small teenagers.

"I think so."

After receiving Logan’s approval, she and Skylar hurried toward the ride.

The excitement quickly raised her adrenaline. As the roller coaster sped along its track, she forgot all about her injury and instinctively threw both hands into the air. The moment she did, a sharp ache shot through her injured arm.

"Wow! This is awesome!" Skylar shouted excitedly once the ride came to a stop. "Can we ride it again?"

Sienna wanted to join him, but the throbbing in her hand was becoming more noticeable.

Before she could answer, Logan stepped forward.

"I’ll accompany him."

Reluctantly, Sienna agreed.

While Logan and Skylar headed back toward the entrance for another ride, she remained near the exit area to wait for them.

Several minutes passed.

She stood quietly watching the crowds move through the amusement park, enjoying the lively atmosphere around her.

Then, without warning, an arm suddenly wrapped around her waist from behind.

The unexpected contact sent a shock through her entire body.

Sienna’s instincts immediately kicked in, and she was ready to react before a familiar voice spoke softly near her ear.

"What are you looking at?"
