The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress
Chapter 1319 - 1259: The Phone Finally Has Signal
The darkness dissipated, dawn arrived, and the storm at sea lasted for four or five hours before slowly calming down.
Adrian turned off the engine, letting the yacht drift on the sea, while he carried Sienna to the restaurant.
"Why aren’t we leaving?" Sienna asked.
"Night Owl is still on the island. Of course, I’m not leaving."
"..."
"There are quite a lot of food in the restaurant. What do you want to eat? I’ll make it for you," Adrian asked.
"Anything’s fine."
The restaurant on the yacht was the same as before. Sienna had been here once, but the mood was completely different this time.
Sienna sat by the dining table, watching Adrian make breakfast.
At this moment, the sun rose, dyeing the sea a rosy hue, a beauty indescribable with words.
Sienna rested her chin and watched the sunrise, her expression focused. Adrian occasionally glanced at her, feeling a sense of fulfillment knowing she was right beside him.
"Sienna, it’s time to eat."
Adrian called out, but Sienna didn’t respond, so he walked over and found her asleep.
"Sienna?"
Adrian gently flicked her forehead, waking Sienna, who looked at him with sleepy, dazed eyes.
"Did you finish making breakfast?"
"Eat a little, then go back to sleep."
"Okay."
On the island, neither of them had eaten well. At this moment, both were hungry, so they sat together and enjoyed a hearty breakfast.
The bodies in the restaurant had long been thrown into the sea by Adrian, so Sienna had no idea that someone had died here the night before.
Sienna held a black phone in her hand, which had been on the table. The phone had no signal at all.
"Adrian, do you know why there’s no signal on this boat?" Sienna asked curiously.
"There should be a jammer or something similar on the boat. After breakfast, I’ll search around for it."
Sienna had been kidnapped by Night Owl, and Adrian hadn’t eaten or slept well since. Now that Sienna was by his side, Adrian’s appetite returned.
Not only did he finish his own portion, but he also ate what Sienna couldn’t finish.
"I hope everything goes smoothly," Sienna said.
"It will. Once we deal with Night Owl, we’ll go back to Sileria City."
"Mm. Going back to Sileria City..."
Sienna smiled at Adrian, who kissed her lips and continued eating breakfast.
...
After breakfast, Adrian went to find the jammer.
Without the jammer, the phone could make calls, and Adrian would contact those at Marion. If they could deal with Night Owl on that island, it would be ideal.
Sienna sat in the restaurant, watching the sea.
Her legs weren’t in good condition, so she couldn’t help even if she wanted to.
She had no idea how much time had passed. When Sienna grew unbearably bored, the black phone suddenly rang.
"There’s signal?"
Sienna picked up the phone with a joyful expression, "Adrian! Adrian!" Sienna shouted loudly.
Adrian came running, thinking something had happened due to Sienna’s loud cries.
"What’s wrong?"
"There’s signal on the phone!" Sienna showed the phone to Adrian, who took it and hung up, then dialed Marion’s number.
"Hello? Who is this?" Marion asked.
"Adrian!"
"Sixth Master?" Brandon Potter couldn’t hide his excitement, as he had been searching to no avail, yet Adrian called him.
Marion hadn’t heard from Adrian for three days, so he couldn’t help but be excited, "Sixth Master, what happened? Why couldn’t I reach the phone you took?"
"Where are you now?"
"I’m still at sea..." Marion didn’t know the exact position as he wasn’t in the control room.
"I’m now near Mist Island. If you don’t know Mist Island’s location, ask Tatu. Night Owl is currently on Mist Island, and I need you to quickly bring people to Mist Island. I want to take Night Owl down on Mist Island!"
"Sixth Master, how many people should I bring?"
"Five hundred. Not too many. It’s close to Kalare here; I don’t want to alarm local armed forces." Adrian detailed his instructions.
"I understand, Sixth Master."
"I’ll turn on the location on the phone. Let Alyssa come to find me, and have Brandon Potter bring the doctor and wheelchair here."
"Sixth Master, who got hurt?"
"Sienna is injured!"
This was a huge surprise; Marion didn’t think Adrian had managed to rescue Sienna, "Sixth Master, I’ll call Brandon Potter right away."
"Mm, the sooner, the better!"
"Yes!"
After explaining everything, Adrian said to Sienna, "You should get some rest. Once things are settled, I’ll call you."
"I can’t rest well here." Considering this was Night Owl’s ship, Sienna felt mentally affected.
"I’ll sleep with you."
"Don’t you have things to do?"
"Before Marion arrives, I don’t have much to do."
Adrian picked up Sienna, brought her to the double sofa by the window in the restaurant, sat down, and let Sienna lie in his embrace. The sunlight bathed them, warm and gentle.
"Sleep."
"Mm."
Sienna nestled in Adrian’s arms and slept, though her sleep was not restful, and even her dreams were unsettled.
Knock knock... There was a knocking sound. Sienna opened her eyes, realizing she was lying in the room she had slept in, not on that warm restaurant sofa.
Someone was knocking on the wall next door—knock knock...
"Adrian?"
Sienna sat up. The knocking continued next door; only Adrian and herself were on the boat. Adrian wasn’t one to be this idle, so if it wasn’t Adrian, who was it?
"Victoria?" Sienna suddenly remembered that there was Victoria on this boat.
Back then, when they separated in the sea, she never thought they would meet again.
Knock knock...
Victoria kept knocking. Sienna got up, leaning against the wall, slowly walking out.
Outside, there was no one; Adrian was nowhere to be seen. Sienna arrived at Victoria’s room door, seeing an iron rod stuck in the door handle, sealing the door shut, preventing those inside from getting out.
Sienna removed the iron rod, and quiet fell inside.
Sienna held the iron rod, knocked on the door, and said, "Victoria, are you in there?"
"Senior?" Upon hearing Sienna’s voice, Victoria was quite surprised.
The door quickly opened, and Sienna saw Victoria. Victoria looked the same, but Sienna’s feelings toward this woman had changed; her attitude was now quite cold.
"Senior, you’re alive, that’s great." Victoria’s expression was complex, her gaze at Sienna cautious.
"Why were you knocking on the wall?"
"I haven’t eaten anything all day, I’m very hungry... The room door wouldn’t open, I was worried I’d starve to death inside," Victoria explained.
