The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress
Chapter 1317 - 1257: Seizing the Boat
Several men were discussing Sienna Johnson, one of them even spoke quite lewdly, and Adrian Desmond’s gaze at those men was full of killing intent.
Tired of living, his woman, and they dare to talk like that.
"That little dame is really beautiful, look at her hips all plump, she’s definitely built for stamina..."
"You don’t get it. That kind of woman, beautiful as she is, is just a fragile little chick, can’t handle it."
"Why?"
"Look at her waist, it’s too small, seems like you could squeeze water out of it when she walks. Such women, on the bed, you can’t exert any effort..."
"Why?" the young man asked.
"If you do, you’ll break her waist. Haha..."
The young man suddenly realized, nodding repeatedly.
When men gather together, they like to talk about women, discuss some colorful topics, the greater the pressure, the more they like to talk.
If it were someone else’s woman, Adrian would just let it pass, but when they’re talking about his own woman, that’s different.
The dagger flew toward the chest of the man who said his woman couldn’t handle it, swift, vicious, precise, piercing the man’s chest.
The man’s smile froze on his face, and he died not even knowing what happened.
Before dying, if he knew this was a disaster caused by his own words, he’d probably cut off his tongue that brought all this trouble.
The young man beside him immediately drew his gun, while the young man from before felt a chill on his neck, there was a crack sound, his neck was broken, dying without knowing what happened.
"Who are you?"
"Sienna Johnson’s man!"
The other few were soon dealt with by Adrian as well, seemingly these people had little combat capacity, Adrian guessed they weren’t Night Owl’s people at all, probably just service staff on the yacht.
After dealing with these people, Adrian threw the bodies into the sea.
Adrian killed them swiftly and viciously, without alerting others, and he cleared out the rest of the people on the ship.
Finally, in a room, he found a woman with a big belly, he was about to act, the woman spoke.
"Are you Senior Sienna’s husband?"
"Who are you?"
Night Owl didn’t withdraw his gun, the muzzle still pointing at this inexplicably appearing pregnant woman on Night Owl’s ship.
In war, you must be cautious with women and children, as their bizarre presence indicates danger.
"My name is Victoria Logan, I’m Junior to Senior Sienna, I’m also from Sileria City. I recognize you, you’re Senior Sienna’s husband, your name is Adrian Desmond." Victoria Logan didn’t expect to meet Adrian, her expression showed surprise.
"Why are you here?"
"I was planning to return to Sileria City when I ran into Night Owl. Senior Sienna was injured at the time, and I’m trained in medicine, so Night Owl brought me onboard to treat Senior Sienna’s wounds." Victoria explained to Adrian clearly.
"..."
"Are you looking for Senior Sienna?"
Adrian kept observing this woman without any expression, since she is somewhat related to Sienna, Adrian didn’t want to kill without reason. Assuming she doesn’t foolishly court death.
"But you’re too late... Senior Sienna is not on this ship anymore." Victoria said sadly.
"Oh?" Adrian indicated for her to continue.
Victoria continued, "I was changing Senior Sienna’s dressings when Senior Sienna asked to use my phone. She planned to call you when we reached Kalare, but Night Owl found out...
Night Owl got angry and forced us to jump into the sea.
We floated for a long time, when it was almost dark that day, a storm suddenly hit the sea... Senior Sienna just..."
Victoria couldn’t continue, stood there and cried covering her face.
She wasn’t a bad person, never intended to harm anyone, she simply sought survival. With Sienna drowned in the sea, she felt guilty.
Most of what this woman said was true, Adrian lowered his gun and said, "You saved Sienna Johnson, so I won’t kill you. But you better behave, or I won’t be merciful."
Victoria nodded repeatedly, "I won’t, I won’t... As long as you don’t kill me, I’ll do anything."
"Stay here and don’t do anything stupid!"
"Yes yes, I won’t, I won’t..." Victoria promised repeatedly.
Adrian turned and walked out. He didn’t trust this unfamiliar woman, Adrian found a steel stick and wedged it in the door, locking it shut so no one inside could open it.
After finishing this, Adrian snuck back to his underground base.
Sienna Johnson was anxiously waiting for him, looking him over when he returned, relieved to see he wasn’t injured.
"What did you do, taking so long to come back?"
"..."
"Did it rain again outside? Look at you, soaking wet, quickly change or you’ll get sick." Sienna Johnson nagged.
Adrian was drenched but didn’t feel cold; this woman made him feel warm inside.
"I’ll check your bedroom, see if there’s any clothes I can wear."
Sienna remembered there were clothes in Adrian’s bedroom-study, she stood up intending to bounce over and find him a clean shirt to change into when she heard Adrian say, "I found Night Owl’s ship, we must go now."
"Huh?"
"I’m going to trap Night Owl on this small island."
Sienna Johnson listened in confusion, Adrian gave her no time to think, found a raincoat, wrapped her in it, and carried her outside.
Only then did they realize outside there was lightning, roaring winds.
The wind made it hard for Sienna Johnson to open her eyes, Adrian carried her struggling towards the shoreline.
Sienna Johnson’s leg was injured, unable to walk, relying on Adrian carrying her.
Rain soaked his face, Sienna Johnson wiped it away with her hand, the only thing she could do.
They finally reached the shore; Adrian said, "We’re going to swim over to that boat, hang in there."
"Okay." Sienna Johnson wasn’t one to shy away from hardship.
There was no small boat on the yacht, only a swimming ring. Adrian slipped it onto Sienna Johnson, tying one end to her and the other to his waist.
"Remember, hold onto the swimming ring tight, understand?" Adrian ordered sternly.
Sienna Johnson nodded, knowing to grip the swimming ring tightly.
The two got into the water.
The high salinity sea soaked their clothes and bandages, washing over the wounds, the pain was excruciating.
"Is it very painful?"
"I can bear this kind of pain."
Adrian kissed her forehead without speaking, just swam quickly toward the ship.
He thought, the faster he swam, the less time she spent soaking in the sea, lessening her pain.
