"Night Owl, when I was relentlessly pursuing you, what were your feelings? That’s what Senior Sienna feels now...

Moreover, Senior Sienna is now pregnant. How could she possibly accept you."

"..."

"Let her go, just like I decided not to pursue you anymore. Some feelings don’t necessarily have a result just because they’re pursued relentlessly..."

Victoria Logan sincerely advised Night Owl, but hadn’t finished before Night Owl got furious, drew out a gun, and pressed the cold muzzle against her forehead.

"Speak, keep talking!" Night Owl shouted at her.

By this time, Victoria Logan didn’t dare say anything further.

Night Owl said, "I’m different from you! If she could fall in love with me, that would be best. Even if she doesn’t love me, I won’t let her go.

The woman I like, I’ll never let go!"

"..."

"Who do you think you are, daring to compare yourself to me!"

Night Owl’s life was too dull. Apart from wanting to kill Adrian Desmond, Night Owl had never been so obsessed with a person. Even if it was just to pass the boring second half of his life, he wouldn’t let go of such an interesting woman as Sienna Johnson.

"Victoria Logan, I planned to let you go. But you’ve made me die inside."

Victoria Logan was terrified, shaking her head and pleading, "Night Owl, don’t..."

...

When Sienna Johnson was left alone in the room, she reached into the gap of the mattress, but her phone was already gone.

Sienna Johnson was startled, "Why can’t I find it?"

Sienna Johnson got up, enduring the pain, and searched carefully... After searching for half a day, almost lifting the mattress, she still couldn’t find it.

The room was only so big, someone must have come in and taken it.

Sienna Johnson had underestimated Night Owl’s control over her; it was likely that her conversation with Victoria Logan earlier was also overheard by Night Owl.

"Oh no!"

Sienna Johnson suddenly stood up, the stabbing pain from her injured leg made her endure as she limped out.

There were two men at the doorway who said as she came out, "Madam, you can’t leave your room casually."

"Where’s Victoria Logan?"

"Don’t know!"

"I want to see Victoria Logan!"

Sienna Johnson didn’t want to put Victoria Logan in danger because of her actions, or her conscience wouldn’t be clear.

"Please wait, I’ll go find her for you."

"No! I’ll go with you to find her."

Sienna Johnson’s attitude was very firm, those two men knew that Night Owl cherished this woman greatly, they couldn’t afford to offend her, so they had to lead her to find Victoria Logan.

...

When Sienna Johnson found Victoria Logan, Night Owl’s gun was pointed right at Victoria Logan’s forehead. Victoria Logan’s face turned pale with fright, trembling all over.

"Stop!" Sienna Johnson walked over, blocking in front of her.

"Senior Sienna." Victoria Logan saw Sienna Johnson as if seeing a savior, gripping her hand tightly.

"Are you alright?"

"Senior Sienna, he wants to kill me!" Victoria Logan said fearfully.

"He won’t, he won’t kill you."

Sienna Johnson wiped the tears off her face and said, "You are pregnant now, don’t cry, it’s not good for the baby."

Victoria Logan nodded, but couldn’t stop tears from streaming down her face.

She felt a wave of panic in her heart; if Sienna Johnson hadn’t arrived in time just now, Night Owl surely would have killed her.

"Didn’t you say you wanted to rest? Why did you come out?" Night Owl put away the gun, his voice colder than it had been in the restaurant.

It seemed this man knew she had secretly hidden the phone, but since Night Owl didn’t mention it, Sienna Johnson wasn’t planning to break the taboo.

"She’s pregnant, you scared her just now." Sienna Johnson said.

Night Owl’s cold gaze swept over Victoria Logan, saying, "She has quite the nerve, daring to secretly inform Adrian Desmond behind my back. It seems I’ve been too kind to her, making her think I’m easy to bully!"

The phone was indeed taken by Night Owl’s people, Sienna Johnson pleaded, "Let her go, it’s nothing to do with her."

Night Owl refused, "I originally planned to let her go, but now I won’t."

"Speaking of this matter, it’s all my fault. It was I who asked her to help relay a message to Adrian Desmond. Don’t take it out on her, direct your anger towards me."

Sienna Johnson knew Night Owl wouldn’t harm her, so she took all the blame upon herself.

"Do you think I can’t bear to do anything to you?"

Night Owl stared at Sienna Johnson; the fire in his heart burned intensely. This cunning woman was betting that he wouldn’t harm her, so she dared to be so reckless.

"Li, throw her into the sea!" Night Owl ordered.

Li hesitated for a moment, never expecting Night Owl to give such an order. Night Owl had expended so much effort for this woman.

Victoria Logan looked at the furious Night Owl, then at the calm-faced Sienna Johnson, and pleaded for Sienna Johnson,

"Night Owl, she is injured now, if you throw her into the sea, her wound will relapse."

Night Owl was truly angered by this woman, and said without any room for adjustment, "Throw her overboard!"

"Senior Sienna!"

Sienna Johnson gave Victoria Logan a reassuring smile and said, "It’s alright."

Sienna Johnson looked at Night Owl and said, "This whole thing is my fault for implicating her, let her go."

"Li, are you deaf?"

"Yes, Master!" Li knew Night Owl wasn’t joking and walked over to Sienna Johnson, saying, "Madam, let’s go!"

Sienna Johnson didn’t move, "Promise me, let her go!"

Night Owl couldn’t possibly let Victoria Logan go; his destination was Kalare. If Adrian Desmond were to know he was bringing Sienna Johnson to Kalare, and waited there with people, he would be in trouble.

Sienna Johnson saw his hesitation and worry, and said to Victoria Logan, "Night Owl is worried you’ll inform Adrian Desmond about his whereabouts, swear by the baby in your belly that you absolutely won’t call Adrian Desmond, and absolutely won’t let him know anything."

For a mother, this was the heaviest oath.

Victoria Logan repeated it as told, but Night Owl didn’t believe it; other than himself, he trusted no one.

In this world, dead people are the most loyal!

"Throw them overboard!"

Sienna Johnson gazed into Night Owl’s eyes. Night Owl’s eyes were cold and icy, full of murderous intent; she knew Night Owl wouldn’t let Victoria Logan go.

"If that’s the case, throw both of us into the sea together." Sienna Johnson said.

Victoria Logan looked incredulously at Sienna Johnson. Sienna Johnson smiled at her, stood up, and pulled the limp-limbed Victoria Logan up.

"Come on, staying here means death anyway."

Victoria Logan began to cry, Sienna Johnson sighed and led her out.

Li led the two women to the side of the ship, looked at the two of them and said, "Are you two going to jump yourselves, or shall I throw you both out."

Victoria Logan burst into tears, unable to say a word.
