The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress
Chapter 1306 - 1246: I’ll Fatten Her Up
Sienna Johnson couldn’t understand. She looked at the beautiful woman in front of her, eyes full of confusion. Victoria Logan explained, "What I couldn’t get, I hope you can obtain."
Her only love was a mess, but she believed that true love still existed in this world, as gorgeous as a dream.
Sienna smiled, her lips chapped, hurting even with a smile, "Should I say you have a kind heart, or that you have ulterior motives towards me?"
Victoria also smiled, jokingly, "You don’t suspect I’ve fallen for you, do you?"
"I do have my doubts."
Victoria said, "Don’t worry, even though you’re stunningly beautiful and I find you attractive, my sexual orientation is completely normal."
"..."
"I like men!"
With a joke, Victoria felt a bit closer to this lofty Senior. Victoria then chatted about other topics, but Sienna obviously wasn’t in the mood and was frequently distracted.
"I seem to be talking too much."
"..."
"Are you thinking about your husband and children?"
"..."
"I saw your daughter, she’s very pretty... looks lively. I wish I could have a daughter."
Victoria touched her own belly; she wanted a daughter more than a son.
"Sorry, I haven’t chatted with anyone in a long time."
Since coming to Abyanabad, Victoria had no friends, her parents weren’t around, and Night Owl refused to see her. She had always been very lonely.
Sienna had no mood to chat with her now; she just wanted to go back. She had been away for so long, and the thought of her children made her heart ache.
The little ones grow fast, changing every day. She was terrified that by the time she returned, the twins wouldn’t recognize her as their mother.
"No, I just really miss my children. When I left, they were still breastfeeding, and I’m not sure if they can get used to formula..."
"I believe you will return to your children." Victoria comforted her.
"Thank you for your kind words." She would try her best to return to Adrian and the kids.
How ironic, back then she desperately wanted to escape from Adrian, but now she was fighting tooth and nail to return to him.
Sienna looked around; there were no signs of Night Owl’s men. She asked quietly, "Do you have a phone?"
Victoria naturally knew why she wanted a phone and regretfully told Sienna, "Of course, I have a phone, but there’s no signal."
"How can there be no signal?"
"Lithium told me it seems they’re afraid of being detected, so all signals are blocked on the ship."
Sienna hadn’t expected Night Owl to be so cautious. She felt hopeless, knowing that once they reached Kalare, it would be a whole different world.
"Come over here."
Victoria leaned in, and Sienna whispered Adrian’s number into her ear, earnestly requesting, "This is my husband’s number. If you get the chance, please call him and tell him I’m going to Kalare."
"Okay."
Victoria memorized the number, planning to call Adrian as soon as she got ashore.
"Can you give me your phone?" Sienna pleaded again.
Victoria said, "But there’s no signal."
"There will be eventually."
Sienna’s phone was long gone. With a phone, even if there was no signal now, she could find an opportunity to contact Adrian once ashore.
"Alright."
Victoria handed her phone to Sienna. Sienna turned it on, found it fully charged, turned it off, and quietly hid it in the crevice of the mattress, planning to use it when she had a chance.
Just as Sienna hid the phone, the door suddenly opened, and in walked Night Owl.
"You’re awake?"
Sienna didn’t want to deal with him. She turned over to face the inside, having no words left for this man.
"Why are you still here?"
Night Owl had no patience for Victoria.
"I came to change Senior Sienna’s bandage."
Victoria stood up, supporting herself with the bed, knowing Night Owl didn’t want to see her. She then left the room.
The room door closed. Night Owl crouched down and looked at the woman with her back to him, asking, "You had a fever last night."
"..."
"I took care of you all night." Night Owl boasted.
"I’m very tired. Could you let me rest for a while?" Sienna didn’t want to talk to this man.
"You’ve already slept for a long time."
"..."
"Get up. If you really want to sleep, eat something first and then sleep."
Night Owl forcibly pulled Sienna up. She was indeed hungry, so she didn’t refuse any further.
One of her legs was injured, and when she stood up, the exerted pressure on her injured leg caused it to hurt.
"Does it hurt?"
"Why don’t you stick an arrow in your own leg and try pulling it out?" Sienna retorted irritably.
"This is your punishment for disobedience!"
"..."
"I’ve been merciful to you. If it were someone else, they might not have seen the sun rise the next day."
Sienna mocked, "So should I thank you then."
"You’re welcome," Night Owl said earnestly.
Sienna: ...
Seeing Sienna struggling with her leg, Night Owl was inwardly pleased. In this state, she at least couldn’t escape.
"I’ll carry you up."
"No need, I can walk on my own," Sienna stubbornly said.
"Alright."
Night Owl didn’t force it. He stepped aside, gesturing for her to go, as Sienna stood there, one-legged, with her injured leg and two arms in pain.
"Do you have a crutch?"
"No."
"What about a wheelchair?"
"None."
"Then how am I supposed to walk?"
"You can use me as your crutch or wheelchair," Night Owl said affectionately.
"Ha!"
Night Owl’s captivating eyes fixated on Sienna. If her will wasn’t strong, she might have lost herself to this bad man.
"I even like the way you look when you’re angry."
Seeing Sienna seething, Night Owl had the urge to pull her into his arms.
Night Owl liked Sienna, maybe because she dared to show her emotions, unlike other women who shivered and cowered in his presence.
"Women who are too headstrong will suffer." Night Owl scooped Sienna up by the waist. Her waist was soft, her weight light, with a scent of medicine.
"..."
"Stay with me peacefully, and I’ll make sure you’re well-fed and taken care of," Night Owl said as he climbed the stairs to the deck.
"I don’t want to be a pig."
"Why not?"
"Pigs, once fattened, get slaughtered."
"Haha!"
"What’s so funny?" Sienna asked, puzzled.
