The area of the Material Plane covered by the Micro-Weave lay along the Sword Coast, with Candlekeep at its center and spreading outward in every direction. To the west, it reached as far as the Sea of Moonshae; to the east, it covered the edge of the Lake of Dragons; to the north, it extended beyond Waterdeep; and to the south, it entered Amn.

It spanned two to three thousand kilometers across, though its shape was extremely irregular. It permeated the surface, the skies, and the underground alike, intertwined so thoroughly with the omnipresent Magic Power that the two were nearly impossible to distinguish.

'Candlekeep. Is that a coincidence?' Anser suspected it probably wasn't.

The original owner of this extraplanar space might have come from Candlekeep.

After the Micro-Weave continued spreading for several hundred more kilometers, its expansion abruptly slowed, then soon stopped altogether.

'That's a little weak.' Anser wasn't particularly satisfied.

The Weave could easily extend across who knew how many Wildspace systems, while his Micro-Weave couldn't even cover half of Faerûn on Toril within Realmspace.

Sakkors appeared in a flash before Anser.

After taking control of Holrewen, the Black Tower's teleportation range had expanded to encompass the entire extraplanar space. Sakkors could now go anywhere within it with a single thought.

"Master, this isn't the mythallar's limit yet. Its materials and potential are more than sufficient to support further growth," Sakkors assured him confidently, afraid that Anser might be disappointed.

"By continuing to absorb Magic Power?" Anser wasn't an idiot. No matter how powerful the mythallar was, it was still an inanimate object. Its upper limit couldn't compare to that of a deity.

Still, he thought its current range was enough. His main interest wasn't in some alternative version of the Weave.

Everyone could cast spells even without the Micro-Weave, so what was the point of opening up another Weave for free? It wasn't as though he could gain faith or divinity from it.

"The Micro-Weave has already penetrated into the Elemental Planes and the Underdark. Its energy level will continue to rise. Covering Faerûn shouldn't be a problem," Sakkors explained.

Anser raised a hand. "I'm giving you two long-term tasks. First, move Holrewen away as soon as possible. Get it far from the Material Plane around Candlekeep so no one can find us using brute-force methods."

Some powerful and perceptive spellcasters might already have noticed the Micro-Weave's existence, so it was necessary to hide for a while.

The mythallar was perfectly capable of driving Holrewen through the gaps between planes. There was no need for them to remain stuck in one place.

"Second, whenever you encounter an unclaimed and harmless demiplane or extraplanar space, absorb it and expand Holrewen."

Planar spaces colliding, merging, or collapsing was nothing unusual. They would be the active party, while the vast majority of extraplanar spaces and demiplanes lacked the ability to drift on their own and could only passively endure whatever happened.

"And as for right now..."

Anser snapped his fingers, projecting a Character Sheet he had modified directly into Sakkors's mind.

The dice could allow every character to see their own Character Sheet. Anser simply hadn't let anyone see theirs because he was afraid they wouldn't be able to accept it. Sakkors was the first. He was a spirit, and both his life and death were firmly in Anser's hands, making him different from everyone else.

"What is this?" Sakkors's gaze went blank as he stared dazedly at the rectangular, glowing projection inside his mind.

It listed every piece of information about both the mythallar and himself. Some of it was information even he couldn't describe precisely, yet everything had been quantified with astonishing accuracy.

Even more shocking were the gray control buttons: Expand, Contract, Disable, Erase Sentience, Rary Mark List, Energy Control, Consumption Records...

He instinctively assumed this was some kind of psychic projection created by Anser. The depth of Anser's control over him was staggering. The sight battered his mind again and again, filling him with profound awe and a crushing sense of defeat.

While Sakkors was still processing everything, Anser summoned Bratt, Gwyneth, and the others—roughly thirty people in total.

They looked at Anser as though they were looking at a monster. The changes Holrewen had just undergone had been downright terrifying. They couldn't understand what they'd seen, wanted to ask but didn't dare, and were practically bursting from holding it in.

"I need you to cooperate with me on a few experiments..." Anser gave them a few instructions without explaining much.

The mythallar needed to be kept as secret as possible. A little information leaking out wouldn't matter, but as for the fact that he had created the Micro-Weave, he intended to keep that hidden for as long as he could.

Sakkors came back to his senses and glanced at the others before speaking to Anser telepathically. {Master, what do you need me to do?}

{Can Rary's Telepathic Bond be replaced with Telepathy?}

{Yes. The mythallar has already recovered. As long as I don't stray too far from it, I can cast spells and modify the Micro-Weave.}

{Good...}

Anser gradually explained his idea to Sakkors, having him modify the Rary Mark and construct an interface linking the user, the mythallar, and the dice.

The interface itself wasn't difficult to make. It resembled a simplified messaging app from Anser's previous life, with voice calls and messages along with an additional news section.

Such things weren't particularly unusual on Toril. Adventurers' guilds, travelers' rests, and spelljamming ships had all used similar quest boards, message boards, and the like. Some magical projections were even incredibly flashy.

Spellcasters who had mastered Telepathy had come up with all sorts of sophisticated applications. Many things that would only appear in science fiction had already been done here, such as remote group activities and live broadcasts.

This was a multiverse where primitive tribes beating each other with clubs and interstellar wars could exist at the same time. Anyone adventuring with a rigid worldview was liable to suffer some severe culture shock.

Sakkors worked hard to understand Anser's ideas, experimenting constantly along the way.

After two or three hours of effort, they finally managed to put together a prototype.

Bratt and the others sat on the ground in a circle. They consciously sensed and activated their Rary Marks, and a glowing interface instantly appeared within their minds.

Everyone was astonished. They spent quite a while fumbling around before finally beginning to operate it according to the instructions they'd been given earlier.

Gwyneth mentally selected a button and entered a string of runic serial numbers into the dialog box. The request was relayed through the Micro-Weave to the mythallar, then forwarded to the dice.

At the same time, the moon elf Darla received a notification with a ding. Once she accepted, the two established a friend connection.

Gwyneth could then simply select the runic serial number representing Darla to initiate a call. The initial version only supported telepathic communication, but later upgrades would allow them to share images, sounds, sensations, and more.

They could also send each other short messages, much like the Sending spell, except the dice could record them so they could be viewed at any time.

The news section was essentially just an information display. It could only be viewed and offered no other interaction.

Anser looked at the increasingly dense stream of information on the mythallar's Character Sheet, his spirits soaring.

'That wasn't easy!'

The greatest difficulty throughout the process was that the dice were far too rigid and could only record information. Fortunately, after repeated training, they had learned to accept Sakkors's requests, respond to them, and relay information.

{Telepathy consumes quite a lot of energy. Once the number of users grows, the mythallar's energy consumption will become terrifying,} Sakkors said worriedly. {And this Character Sheet thing is a little dumb. I have to handle a lot of things myself. It's exhausting.}

{I need to absorb more psionic energy and improve my processing capabilities...}

Sakkors was excited and miserable at the same time. He had a feeling his easy days were over.

{Can you absorb the psychic energy that naturally leaks from people who possess a Rary Mark?} Anser asked.

{Let me try.} Sakkors's eyes lit up.

Several minutes passed.

He looked somewhat helpless. {I can, but the transmission losses are too high. The more powerful a professional is, the greater their control over their own body. The tiny amount of psychic energy they leak isn't worth much.}

{That's fine. We'll take it slowly. For now, let's discuss energy consumption and how we're going to charge for it.}

{You can charge people for using the Weave?}

{Of course...}
