Chapter 91: Chapter 91: Unexpected Support

The one who raised his hand was a burly man clad in full body armor. He made no effort to conceal his name or level.

[Situ Yong, Level 54]

A player of this level, bluntly speaking, could slap Yu Zhun to death with a single strike.

Yu Zhun’s expression shifted slightly. He stopped in his tracks. "Can I help you?"

"I’m the vice guild master of the Four-star Guild, [True Dragon]," Situ Yong grunted softly. "I heard you’ve obtained the opportunity to clear the [Red Moon Tide] Dungeon."

He stopped looking at the members of the [Godslayer] guild and turned toward the two powerhouses from the Divine Revelation Hall presiding over the area. "There are less than two days left before the special Dungeon disappears. Every single opportunity to clear it is incredibly precious.

"Instead of giving such an opportunity to a powerful guild with a better chance of achieving a perfect clear, you hand it over to a measly Two-star Guild. Isn’t the Divine Revelation Hall going too far with this?"

"They only have six people," Situ Yong grunted again. "They can’t even put together a complete Dungeon-clearing party.

"I reasonably suspect the Divine Revelation Hall’s motives here!

"This is a waste of everyone’s time!"

As Situ Yong’s undisguised voice echoed across the encampment, powerhouses from numerous other guilds chimed in to support him.

"That’s right, the Situ Brothers are right."

"It would be fine under normal circumstances, but look at the time! Why let a few kids squander the opportunity?"

"Little brats barely out of their diapers should just honestly stick to clearing Permanent Dungeons in the Main City!"

"Exactly. They should look at where they are."

The expressions of the two Divine Revelation Hall powerhouses instantly soured. Since when did the decisions made by the Divine Revelation Hall need to be questioned by a few unofficial guilds?

Yu Zhun and the others also looked displeased. They hadn’t expected to encounter resistance outside the Dungeon just when they were about to enter. This was the simultaneous obstruction of multiple Four-star Guilds. The Five-star Guilds hadn’t spoken up, but that didn’t mean they hadn’t secretly orchestrated this. And to the current [Godslayer] guild, the gap between them and such powerful guilds was like the difference between a small rowboat and a massive ship.

Just as the situation was escalating, a low grunt resounded throughout the area. "The Divine Revelation Hall naturally has its reasons for making such a decision. Are you even worthy of questioning it?"

As the voice fell, a Second-Turn powerhouse exceeding Level 60 slowly walked over, accompanied by multiple First-Turn Professionals. These powerhouses had one thing in common: they were all archer-class Professionals. It was the official Five-star Guild for Professions—[Storm Eagle Eye]!

The endorsement from an official guild caused the expressions of the Four-star Guilds who had stepped forward to shift instantly. Yu Zhun was somewhat surprised and couldn’t help but glance at Sheila. Aside from this genius archer from [Storm Eagle Eye], he couldn’t think of any other reason why [Storm Eagle Eye] would stand up for them at this moment.

In the next moment, another voice rang out with a hint of helplessness. "You archers really move fast."

Another Second-Turn powerhouse walked over with his people. Unlike [Storm Eagle Eye], these powerhouses were all Mage Series Professionals. It was the official Five-star Guild for Professions—[Arcane Roar]!

"I say, what’s the harm in giving these kids a chance?" the leading Second-Turn Mage looked at the crowd with a chuckle. "Haven’t you heard that great heroes often start young? What if they actually pull it off?"

Yu Zhun couldn’t help but glance at Ji Xiaoyu. "This rich girl’s connections are quite solid..." he thought.

"How can a mere six people pull it off?" a voice scoffed coldly. "Can an official guild for Professions show such blatant favoritism toward the Divine Revelation Hall?"

The one who voiced the rebuttal was also a Second-Turn powerhouse: the vice guild master of the Five-star Guild, [Golden Throne]. Clearly, after two official guilds stepped in to show their support, a few Five-star Guilds that had originally only intended to stand back and watch the show could no longer sit still.

"Time is tight. Is it [Cyan Eyes]’s turn next?" another Second-Turn powerhouse spoke faintly. He represented the Five-star Guild, [Red Owl]. "Hurry up."

With two Five-star Guilds—whose strength was no weaker than the official guilds—stepping into the fray, the Four-star Guilds that had spoken out instantly regained their confidence.

In truth, this wasn’t an issue about a Two-star Guild. Many unofficial guilds, especially powerful Four-star and Five-star Guilds, had long been dissatisfied with the Divine Revelation Hall’s incredibly strict management system. They were simply taking advantage of this opportunity to test the waters.

Right at this moment, an eerily cold voice drifted over.

"Do you want to die...

"Or are you just tired of living?"

As the voice faded, a group of immensely powerful Professionals abruptly appeared in the area. Their gloomy aura and demeanor that suggested they would kill over the slightest disagreement caused the expressions of all the players present to change drastically.

This was especially true for the two Five-star Guild executives who had just intervened. At this very moment, a dagger was pressed against each of their necks! It was the official Five-star Guild for Professions—[Assassin’s Creed]!

If one were to ask who was the most untouchable among the official guilds, ten out of ten people would answer [Assassin’s Creed]. These people were genuine bloodthirsty maniacs! Two Second-Turn Professionals had actually shown up for a special Dungeon? No, there were very likely more than two! Cold sweat rolled down the faces of the two Five-star Guild executives as a well-known saying simultaneously crossed their minds: When you spot one Assassin from [Assassin’s Creed], there might be an entire nest of Assassins [Lurking] in the shadows!

"Misunderstanding... this is all a misunderstanding," the powerhouse from the [Red Owl] guild, who had just been complaining that ’time is tight,’ let out a dry laugh. "I remembered incorrectly. The next to enter is... the [Godslayer] guild, right?

"Time is tight, you guys should hurry up and go in!"

Another Second-Turn Assassin stared gloomily at the vice guild master of [Golden Throne], who had been the first to intervene, and pressed the dagger tighter against his neck. The other guy had changed his tune, but he hadn’t. Did he think this Assassin was weaker than the other one?

Feeling the coldness against his neck, the vice guild master of [Golden Throne] went entirely numb. Curses filled his mind, but his mouth moved rapidly.

"Official guilds... should absolutely show such favoritism toward the Divine Revelation Hall!

"Not just official guilds, but all guilds should submit to the Divine Revelation Hall’s management!"

Hearing this, the second Assassin sheathed his dagger in satisfaction. That was more like it.

Long Zhan, who was watching the spectacle from afar, felt a chill run down his spine. "Damn it..." he thought. Three official Five-star Guilds for Professions were backing the [Godslayer] guild! Fortunately, he hadn’t stepped forward directly but had opted to use others to do his dirty work. Otherwise, he would probably be the one with a blade to his neck right now...

Just as a look of relief appeared on Long Zhan’s face, a sliver of coldness silently pressed against his neck.

"You didn’t really think no one saw your little tricks, did you?"

"THUD!"

Long Zhan decisively dropped to his knees.

On the other side, Yu Zhun was somewhat bewildered as he watched the unmanageable situation reverse in an instant. He could understand [Storm Eagle Eye] and [Arcane Roar] stepping in, but to think that the guild deploying the most powerhouses would actually be [Assassin’s Creed]. Was this... to help him?

Yu Zhun scratched his head. "Are we... going in?"
