Chapter 82: Chapter 82: Newcomer? Old Acquaintance!

"Alright..." Ji Xiaoyu raised her hands in a surrender gesture. "So, what’s the agenda for our meeting?"

"Adjustments to the guild’s Dungeon-clearing plan," Yu Zhun said slowly.

Ji Xiaoyu and Salas both leaned in, adopting a listening posture.

"I’ve already leveled up to Lv21," Yu Zhun said, pausing slightly. "I can no longer enter Lv20 Dungeons.

"We’ll skip the Cold Ice Silence Realm. Its Mechanism is too difficult. Without me, you won’t be able to achieve a perfect clear."

Although his words were rather blunt, Ji Xiaoyu and Salas wholeheartedly agreed. At best, the two of them would only be able to unlock the first achievement. The latter two achievements were simply too hard, especially the final one that required surviving against the Cold Ice Mirror Demon for 130 seconds before killing it. Only a freak like Yu Zhun could afford to let the boss attack first for 130 seconds.

"However, I don’t think we should waste our daily entry for the Bloody City," Yu Zhun continued, looking at Ji Xiaoyu and Salas. "The rich lady’s damage output is high enough to kill the Heavy Hammer Blood Corpse King and the Blood Demon. Even without me, you two are capable of perfectly clearing this Dungeon."

"But for this Dungeon..." Ji Xiaoyu frowned slightly, recalling the entire process of their Bloody City clear. "Without you, Guild Master, I probably won’t be able to instantly wipe out the first three waves of monsters."

She needed a player at the front to gather the monsters so she could efficiently clear them with her area-of-effect Magic, Blast Flame. Otherwise, if she had to clear them on her own, her efficiency would plummet.

The Priest’s Purification could only dispel the debuffs caused by the blood mist infection level; it couldn’t actually lower the infection level itself. Therefore, once the infection level increased after a minute, new debuffs would just be applied all over again. So, even with a Priest present, the efficiency requirement for clearing the Bloody City remained very high. Moreover, both Ji Xiaoyu and Salas were backline players. Without a frontline, it would be easy for them to get overwhelmed and surrounded.

"I’ve considered all of that," Yu Zhun nodded. "My idea is to recruit one or two new members under Lv20.

"The new members can form a Lv20 Dungeon-clearing team with you two. The guild will apply for the Bloody City once a day for you guys to clear.

"After that, you can join me in clearing Lv30 Dungeons."

"I get it!" Salas’s eyes lit up. "We just need to recruit another Assassin who can tank damage to replace the Guild Master!"

Yu Zhun was speechless.

Ji Xiaoyu was equally speechless.

"Is it possible..." Yu Zhun’s mouth twitched, "that under normal circumstances, the Profession meant to tank damage should be a Warrior?"

Ji Xiaoyu and Salas shot Yu Zhun a weird look. They thought, "So you actually know you’re not normal?"

"A Warrior, huh..." Ji Xiaoyu revealed a thoughtful expression. "Just one Warrior might not be enough."

Through the last round of interviews, she had gotten a clear grasp of a normal player’s strength. It wouldn’t be easy for a Warrior under Lv20 to tank that many Blood Corpses. Freaks of nature like him were few and far between, after all.

"I have a suggestion!" Salas raised his hand. "We can recruit another Priest.

"You can never have too many Priests.

"Because having four skills is far from a Priest’s limit.

"If another Priest and I join the Dungeon run together, we can divide our skill choices to produce eight different effects.

"That way, we’d be of much greater help to the team.

"Plus, with the Healing output doubled, a Warrior player with decent Equipment should be able to barely handle the task of drawing the aggro of the Blood Corpses!"

"One Warrior and one Priest..." Yu Zhun nodded slightly. "If that’s the case, let’s put the word out.

"We’ll try our best to recruit the new members before the afternoon Dungeon run begins. That way, we can also bring them along to the Valley of Glazed Glass for our first trial run together."

Divine Strategy City, Hanlong Guild.

In the branch hall belonging to the vice guild master, Su Mingde was sorting through stacks of documents in front of him. These documents involved the guild affairs that Zhou Yangming used to oversee. As the contents of the documents were organized one by one, the things Zhou Yangming had done over the years were gradually exposed.

It was truly... shocking.

Even Su Mingde, who knew his old rival best, found many things he hadn’t known about before.

After completing the handover of all work and confirming in reality that Zhou Yangming hadn’t left any records of the Hanlong Guild’s secrets, the Hanlong Guild finally carried out his internal execution. It was impossible for the Hanlong Guild to allow someone who knew their important secrets to continue entering the Divine Revelation World.

The money Zhou Yangming had accumulated was enough for him to live the rest of his life as a wealthy man.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Someone knocked on the door of the branch hall, and two young figures walked in.

"Dad, you were looking for us?" Su Hong laughed as he strode forward. Behind him, Su Yue timidly called out, "Uncle Mingde."

"Mm..." Su Mingde glanced at the Equipment his son and niece were wearing. "You both reached Lv15?"

"Yeah!" Su Hong nodded. "The +10 Purple Equipment is so useful. I feel like I could beat ten of my past selves right now!"

"You brat..." Su Mingde smiled, but then his smile faded. "I plan to kick both of you out of the guild."

Huh?

This sudden news made both Su Hong and Su Yue widen their eyes in shock.

"Dad?" Su Hong stared in disbelief. "Why!"

"Two reasons," Su Mingde said slowly. "First, regarding the incident where you gave the Dungeon guide to Yu Zhun... although the guild didn’t pursue the matter and even obtained the method for a perfect clear from Yu Zhun in return, it was still against the rules.

"As the vice guild master, I cannot cover for you."

"This..." Su Hong lowered his head. "Alright."

Looking at his dejected son, a hint of amusement flashed across Su Mingde’s eyes.

"As for the second reason...

"I heard that the Godslayer Guild currently needs a Warrior and a Priest.

"So, you two better hurry over there right now.

"Don’t let anyone else snatch away an opportunity like this."

Su Hong’s jaw dropped.

Su Yue was equally stunned.

"Wow, the bidding for the Ice Seal Finale has already reached forty-two million." Yu Zhun clicked his tongue as he looked at the Red Weapon listed on the auction house.

This weapon was even more sought after than he had expected. By the looks of it, the final bidding price would go even higher.

"Guild Master, stop sitting around over there and come help!" Ji Xiaoyu wrinkled her nose as she busily interviewed new members. She couldn’t let this Guild Master slack off too much.

"Coming, coming." His dream of being a hands-off boss shattered, Yu Zhun walked over to Ji Xiaoyu. "Any suitable candidates?"

"None of them are really suitable." Ji Xiaoyu sighed. "Recruiting people is really not easy."

"It really isn’t," Yu Zhun agreed with a serious expression.

"What’s not easy, brother Yu Zhun?"

A voice tinged with laughter drifted in from outside the guild. A man and a woman quickly walked into the guild hall.
