Chapter 74: Chapter 74: A World of Ice and Snow in the Heart
That night, Yu Zhu lay lazily on the sofa in their new home, scrolling on her phone. The sofa, which was countless times more comfortable than their previous one, gave her the sudden urge to just sleep on it tonight. On second thought, the bed was more comfortable.
Suddenly, a look of astonishment washed over her face. She sat up so fast it looked like she had been catapulted from the cushions. Ignoring her undignified movement, she whipped her head toward the small garden.
"Yu Zhun, Yu Zhun! Come in here, quick!"
"Coming, coming." Out in the garden, Yu Zhun admired the neatly pruned plants with satisfaction before walking into the living room. "What’s wrong?"
"Our guild is trending!" Yu Zhu’s eyes were wide. "Did you do something crazy again today?"
"Not really." Yu Zhun sighed. "I just got the first perfect clear on a Dungeon, and then...
"Made the Dungeon disappear."
Yu Zhu was speechless. She wondered how he could say he hadn’t done much when it was such a massive deal. Was he even listening to himself?
"What’s the forum saying?" Yu Zhun sat beside Yu Zhu and glanced at her phone.
The original poster claimed to have seen with their own eyes that the [Godslayer] guild had completely obliterated a Dungeon. However, players from other Main Cities were highly skeptical.
"I can’t believe these guys don’t buy it." Yu Zhu looked a little angry as she tried to snatch her phone back. "I’m going to use my alt account to flame them!"
"Why flame them?" Yu Zhun didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. "It’s a good thing they don’t believe it. It’d be best if no one did."
"I guess you’re right." Yu Zhu thought for a moment and quietly withdrew her hand.
"Besides..." Yu Zhun scrolled carefully through the replies, a strange look in his eyes. "I have a feeling the Divine Revelation Hall might be involved here, guiding public opinion."
Many of the replies below deliberately shifted the focus onto the [Godslayer] guild rather than the individual who cleared the Dungeon, framing their skepticism around the angle of "how could a mere Two-Star guild be this powerful?"
"Really?" Yu Zhu leaned her head next to Yu Zhun’s to stare at the screen, noticing something off as well. "Now that you mention it, it does seem like..."
Before she could finish, a notification popped up on the forum.
[[BREAKING] A Deep Dive into the Messy Private Life of the Vice-President of Divine Revelation City’s Four-Star Guild [Royal Court]!!!] [Click Here to View]
"Holy crap!" Yu Zhu exclaimed. "The vice-president of a Four-Star guild? That’s gotta be a big shot above Level 50, right?"
"Such juicy gossip?" The master of gossip, Yu Zhu, snatched her phone back from Yu Zhun and scrolled through it excitedly, gasping from time to time.
"Wow! It even involves another big shot!
"Oh my god! They’re into some wild stuff!
"Mother of god, this video is insane... it’s not even censored..."
Yu Zhun was speechless. He silently took out his own phone, entered the forum, and clicked on the post that had mentioned the [Godslayer] guild. In an incredibly short amount of time, the players who had been fiercely debating were drawn away by this more explosive news. The now-dead post quickly sank beneath a sea of newer threads.
Yu Zhun opened the trending list and watched as the topic "[Godslayer] Guild," which had originally been at 21st place, plummeted straight to 37th. He refreshed the page again, and it was gone from the trending list. Another refresh, and the post itself had been deleted.
Yu Zhun observed three seconds of silence for the vice-president of the [Royal Court] guild. He mused that the poor guy had been caught in the crossfire... Though, the guy probably wasn’t a saint either. Yu Zhun clicked into the exposé. A moment later, he exited with a look of utter disgust. Yep, definitely a scumbag.
He casually covered Yu Zhuzhu’s eyes.
"Not suitable for children. No looking."

The next day, in the [Bloody City] Dungeon.
Salas and Ji Xiaoyu stood side by side outside the dry well, staring down into the dark, ominous opening.
After hesitating for a moment, Salas looked at Ji Xiaoyu with a conflicted expression. "Um... do we really not need to go down and help him?"
"Relax." Ji Xiaoyu, who was entering the [Bloody City] Dungeon for the third time, was quite calm. "He and the Little Brother go way back."
"...Little Brother?"
"The hidden boss of [Bloody City], the Blood Demon," Ji Xiaoyu said, pointing down the well. "Don’t worry, Yu Zhun is very strong.
"You saw it yourself just now."
Salas scratched his head and said nothing. Even now, he felt like he was dreaming. When he saw their Assassin Profession guild president charge into the horde of Blood Corpses, Salas felt like he was a hair’s breadth away from dying of a heart attack on the spot. He cast Healing with all his might, only to realize something wasn’t right. The president wasn’t losing any health at all—his shield was so massive it pushed his health bar entirely out of sight!
He wondered how anyone could call this guy an Assassin. An Assassin his ass! Then there was the wealthy backer next to him, who had just been promoted from a regular guild member to vice-president. With a single fireball, Elite Monsters were instantly killed. She even told him to save his mana and not use [Encourage]. That was an Elite Monster with thirty thousand health! Couldn’t she at least show it some respect?! Did she think she was all that just because she had an S-Rank Talent and a +20 Red Weapon?
...Okay, having those actually was pretty amazing.
Salas, who had already been left dumbfounded by the first two story acts, thought he had reached the limit of his imagination. Never in his wildest dreams did he expect that, just as the Boss of the third act was about to appear, the vice-president would simply drag him away from the plaza. After a flashy entrance animation, before he could even get a clear look at the stat panel for the Boss called the [Heavy Hammer Blood Corpse King], the massive Blood Corpse King collapsed with a deafening CRASH.
It literally was just a CRASH!
Before he could marvel any further, lines of text popped up in front of his eyes—notifications for the perfect Dungeon clear and the experience points he had gained. At that very moment, Salas only wanted to utter a single lament. So this... this was what it felt like to be hard-carried through a perfect clear!
"Stop spacing out." Yu Zhun, having jumped out of the dry well, glanced at Salas and chuckled. "You’ll get used to it in a few days."
With that, he casually activated his badge, and the three of them teleported away together.
Without needing to rest, Yu Zhun rushed nonstop with Ji Xiaoyu and Salas to the Teleportation Gate for the [Cold Ice Silence Realm], which was also located in the Dungeon Hall.
Outside the Teleportation Gate stood many parties, purely there to watch the show. They were genuinely just there for the spectacle. After yesterday, quite a few guilds had been keeping an eye on the [Godslayer] guild’s raid target for today. Once that target was confirmed, guilds of all sizes across Divine Strategy City buzzed with excitement.
The reason was simple. The condition for a perfect clear of the [Cold Ice Silence Realm] Dungeon was written plainly in its rule introduction. But it had never once been perfectly cleared.
Without wasting a second, Yu Zhun led his guild members into the Teleportation Gate.
