Chapter 132: Chapter 119: Story Roleplay Dungeon!

"Doomsday’s Thorn..."

Yu Zhun stared intently at the newly added fifth Profession option, a hint of anticipation surfacing in his eyes.

Was this the Hidden Professional Path that belonged to him and Open and Aboveboard?

If so...

Then he would take a good look and see exactly what made this mysterious hidden path so special!

Without hesitation, Yu Zhun selected Doomsday’s Thorn and turned his gaze to the others.

The guild members who had made their choices raised their heads one by one. Once the hesitation on Salas’s face—who was the last to choose—turned to determination, he decisively selected his own class advancement path. At that moment, everyone vanished simultaneously from this chaotic space.

[Welcome to the First Turn Trial: End of the Red Land]

[The Dungeon rules are as follows:]

[1. All rewards within the Dungeon are settled instantly.]

[2. Death within the Dungeon is considered death in the Divine Revelation World.]

[3. Players cannot leave the Dungeon before killing the boss, Red Ghost Commander.]

[On the Red Wasteland, catastrophe breeds from Greed!]

As lines of text appeared before his eyes, the scenery around Yu Zhun rapidly shifted. In the blink of an eye, he found himself in a dimly lit place.

A slightly sour smell of alcohol permeated the air, and the noisy surroundings appeared exceptionally chaotic. Many potbellied yet shabbily dressed men held up their glasses, cheering and shouting loudly. In the center of the venue, several people who looked like vagabonds were brawling.

This was a tasteless underground bar catered to the poor, dedicated to selling cheap liquor.

After confirming his location, Yu Zhun massaged his temples in pain.

He was screwed.

The End of the Red Land Dungeon was the Permanent Dungeon of Divine Radiance City, ranked sixteenth among the thirty-six Main Cities. To this day, it had never been perfectly cleared.

If it were just that, Yu Zhun wouldn’t be worried. After all, since leaving the Newbie Area, he had achieved plenty of first clears in Dungeons. Even if it was a Dungeon that hadn’t been perfectly cleared, he could still attempt to get the first perfect clear.

But the problem was...

He had spawned in the wrong location.

Very wrong!

The background story of the End of the Red Land Dungeon wasn’t complicated. The story took place on a red wasteland. There was only one city on the wasteland, called Red Cloud City, where the residents lived stable lives.

At the same time, refugees known as the Red People lived on the wasteland. Wandering the Red Wasteland long-term, they survived on the few mutated plants that grew there. Consequently, they were indirectly affected by the harmful substances in the wasteland, plagued by diseases and developing a reddish skin tone.

Aside from the hardships of survival, the Red People also needed to evade mutated monsters called Red Ghosts that roamed the wasteland. Due to their skin color and physical abnormalities, Red Cloud City refused to take them in.

According to the normal clearance method, players would initially spawn in the location of the Red People. They would complete the first plotline, Red Ghost Tide, gaining their trust by killing Red Ghosts.

Then came the second plotline, Red Migration. Players needed to kill Red Ghosts along the way, protect the Red People, and eventually arrive at a place in the wasteland called Lake of Purity. Only by drinking the water from that lake could the Red People return to normal and be accepted by Red Cloud City.

However, after arriving at the destination, they still needed to kill the boss, the Red Ghost Commander, who stood guard near the Lake of Purity. This was the third plotline.

Upon completing the three plotlines and sending the restored Red People into Red Cloud City, the Dungeon would be considered normally cleared.

The method for a perfect clear might differ somewhat from a normal clear, but regardless, the starting position should always remain the same.

But right now, Yu Zhun was not in the Red Wasteland where he was supposed to kill Red Ghosts and meet the Red People.

He was currently at the final destination: Red Cloud City!

Shaking his head speechlessly, Yu Zhun pinched the Communication Button pinned to his collar.

[Yu Zhun: I’m inside the city. Where are you guys?]

[Sheila: Inside the city.]

[Salas: Inside the city.]

[Ji Xiaoyu: In the wasteland.]

[Su Hong: In the wasteland.]

[Su Yue: In the wasteland.]

"..."

Just as he was about to say something, he suddenly noticed someone rapidly approaching him and hurriedly lowered the Communication Button.

In the next second, a man draped in a black robe and wearing a face covering arrived by Yu Zhun’s side. He lowered his voice and spoke, "Herbert?"

"?"

Yu Zhun wondered who the man was calling out to.

Ignoring Yu Zhun’s bewilderment, the black-robed man gestured toward the bar counter. "A glass of Dirty Louis."

"Brother, this drink should be renamed Dirty Seins!" a potbellied drunkard laughed heartily. "Louis is our great Second City Lord. No, maybe he’ll be the Great City Lord soon."

As his words fell, many other drunkards burst into laughter as well, cracking jokes and filling the air with a joyous atmosphere.

The black-robed man paid no mind to those people. After ordering his drink, he quietly rested his hands on the counter, standing beside Yu Zhun.

Soon, a glass of somewhat cloudy mixed liquor was brought out by a waiter. The black-robed man took it and placed it in front of Yu Zhun, sliding a stack of coins underneath it. He spoke in a voice that only the two of them could hear.

"The solitary Legendary Assassin, Mr. Herbert.

"Here is your next target and the deposit."

Yu Zhun remained silent.

After the man turned and left, Yu Zhun put away the coins with an odd expression. He picked up the unappetizing-looking drink, swirled it slightly, and observed the cloudy liquid under the dim, murky lighting.

"A role-playing Dungeon?"

In that brief moment, he had already figured out his current situation.
