Chapter 467: Chapter 143: Mother and Son Join Forces! Invincible

The blade of light seemed slow, but in reality, it was unbelievably fast.

Before the Lord of a Thousand Tendrils could even react, three of its thick tentacles were severed at the base. No blood flowed from the stumps; instead, they turned directly to ash, as if their very existence had been erased by some higher-level power.

ROAR!!!

The Lord of a Thousand Tendrils immediately let out a pained roar, and the countless eyeballs on its tentacles finally revealed a look of terror.

"My, my, what’s with all the shouting?" Pale Elegy frowned, her tone slightly annoyed, as if the noise had disturbed her afternoon nap. "So impolite."

Her figure flickered, and she appeared directly above the head of the Lord of a Thousand Tendrils.

She tapped her folding fan, and a pale white halo spread out with the fan at its center. "All things wither."

Wherever the halo passed, the Lord of a Thousand Tendrils’ massive body began to wither rapidly. Its tentacles shriveled and fell off one by one, as if all its life force had been drained away.

Seeing this, the Moon Priestess immediately raised her scepter high. "Great Moonfire Skill."

The next moment, silvery-white moonfire descended from the sky, intertwining with Pale Elegy’s withering power. One white, one silver, one cold, one desolate—they formed a perfect combination.

The moonfire burned the Lord of a Thousand Tendrils’ flesh while the withering power eroded its soul. The two forces complemented each other, their might multiplying.

Terrified, the Lord of a Thousand Tendrils struggled frantically, its countless tentacles lashing out wildly, yet it couldn’t even touch the hems of the two women’s clothes.

Pale Elegy tapped her toes, moving with Lightness as she weaved between the tentacles like a dancer. She would occasionally flick her fan to sever a tentacle or two, her posture relaxed and leisurely, showing no sign of strain.

The Moon Priestess, meanwhile, patrolled the perimeter, raining down moonlight to continuously weaken its power.

"This... how is this possible..." Su Moyi watched, wide-eyed, as the Lord of a Thousand Tendrils went from being evenly matched with the Moon Priestess to being completely suppressed. Her mind was so shocked it almost shut down.

She collapsed weakly to the ground, her dense cluster of eyeballs staring intently at the two female figures in the sky, her gaze filled with despair. "Two... two peak Legends... No, this is a Demigod... This is the power of a Demigod..."

Frost Throat Hosen’s face was also deathly pale, and his legs felt a little weak.

’Damn it, what kind of bad luck did I run into today!? Where did all these titans come from?!’

Meanwhile, Lynch, who had been hiding in the shadows all along, felt a surge of satisfaction watching his two mothers suppress the Lord of a Thousand Tendrils, but he was also secretly alarmed.

’My two mothers are just too powerful. Even as mere projections, they possess such terrifying combat strength. Priestess Mother’s true body isn’t as strong as Wang Ge’s mother’s, but her advantage is that her soul is already on the main material plane, making it simpler to project herself and easier to mobilize her power. And after the last battle, she absorbed some pure Soul Power and has recovered a good deal of her strength. Naturally, the combat power she can exert is greater than last time. Furthermore, her Moonlight Power is clearly a counter to Abyssal Creatures like the Lord of a Thousand Tendrils. Every bolt of moonfire that landed made the monster howl incessantly.’

’And that goes without saying for Wang Ge’s mother. I can tell she has likely mastered two fundamental powers. One is the power of the Blood Race, probably related to space, speed, and vampirism. The other must be the Netherworld’s Death Law, related to annihilation and decay. The abilities she’s using now are from the law of annihilation and decay, which is more targeted against a monster of twisted flesh and soul like the Lord of a Thousand Tendrils. Wherever her power passes, its tentacles turn directly to ash, unable to even regenerate.’

’Of course, this Lord of a Thousand Tendrils is no pushover either. I feel like its true body must be at least Legendary Level, possibly even peak Legend, or maybe even a stronger Demigod. Otherwise, there’s no way a mere projection like this could last so long under the combined assault of two Half-god Level beings. Still, the outcome is already decided.’

Lynch saw that his two mothers had the Lord of a Thousand Tendrils completely suppressed. He hurriedly re-established his mental link with the Squirrel Skeleton, which had nearly been crushed by the shockwaves, and prodded the watching Shivana, communicating, "Master Shivana, what are you spacing out for? Get moving, attack!"

Master Shivana snapped out of her daze as if waking from a dream. Blushing slightly, she grumbled, "I was waiting for your command, wasn’t I?"

Despite her words, her actions were not the least bit slow.

She tapped her toes, and her figure shot up from the ground like a verdant meteor. She drew the "Nature’s Whisper" longbow in her hands into a full moon. As the bowstring vibrated, three arrows imbued with rich, natural Magic Power shot through the air in a triangular formation, whistling straight for three vital spots on Frost Throat Hosen, who was just trying to retreat unnoticed.

"Nature’s Arrow: Triple Star!"

"Damn it!" Frost Throat Hosen’s expression changed drastically.

He had intended to slip away while the Lord of a Thousand Tendrils was tying down those two terrifying beings, but he never expected Shivana to snap out of her stupor.

In his haste, he didn’t have time to circulate his Frost Fighting Qi and could only swing his twin swords hurriedly at the three arrows.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

Three successive sounds of metal striking metal rang out.

Hosen was forced back three steps by the impact, and his arms, unprepared for the blow, were numb from the shock.

He was instantly filled with a mix of shock and fury. "Shivana, you’re courting death!"

"You’re the one courting death!" Shivana’s fighting spirit soared. The frustration from being suppressed by two Tier Sevens earlier now transformed into a blaze of fury that she unleashed upon Hosen. "Today is the day you die."

Her figure twisted and turned nimbly in the air as she fired Continuous Arrows from her longbow. A torrent of verdant streaks of light rained down, immediately putting Hosen on the defensive and leaving him with no opportunity to escape.
