Chapter 438: Chapter 140: You Beast, Lynch Blackwood

The Berserker felt a massive force travel up the handle of his axe, and a numbness immediately shot through his arms. The shock sent his entire body lifting off the ground. He even lost his grip on his War Axe, which spun several times in the air before plunging violently into the ground.

He struggled to regain his balance and land on his feet. Upon landing, however, he staggered. After stumbling back several steps, his legs gave out, and he fell to one knee. ℯℯ𝘭.

The impact had rattled his internal organs. He let out a cry as he spat out a mouthful of blood, his face instantly turning deathly pale.

Meanwhile, Carl, in the center, was facing the Tier Four "True Bone Spear Skill."

Carl’s heart went cold, his pupils contracting in an instant.

The Bone Spear was simply too fast. He had no time for any other reaction. With a roar, he could only swing his Holy Hammer horizontally before him, simultaneously pouring the Holy Light Power from his body into the weapon and forming a golden curtain of light.

The next moment.

BOOM—!!

The Bone Spear slammed straight into it. A dazzling light erupted, momentarily blinding him.

Carl felt an overwhelming wave of force wash over him. The Holy Light shield was instantly covered in cracks, and the impact sent him staggering back seven or eight steps, each one leaving a deep footprint in the muddy flats.

Finally, with his insides rattled, blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. Their charge had been brutally halted.

His hands, gripping the Holy Hammer, trembled slightly. The web between his thumb and index finger had been split open by the impact. Blood seeped from the wound, dripping steadily down the handle.

He looked up at Lynch, his eyes filled with horror. "This... This is the Bone Spear Skill? How can the Bone Spear Skill be this terrifying?!"

Each of the three bone spears Lynch had fired was as solid as refined steel and as fast as lightning. Their power was comparable to a High-Tier heavy siege crossbow!

And you’re telling me this is the Bone Spear Skill?!

If the Bone Spear Skill was always this strong, Hurst’s Undead Major wouldn’t have been in decline for so many years!

This was completely beyond Carl’s understanding of Undead Magic!

"Not so impressive, after all."

Lynch, however, acted as if he hadn’t heard him. He let out a soft laugh to himself, his tone laced with disdain.

He had known it wouldn’t be difficult to beat them, but he hadn’t expected it to be this easy.

He hadn’t even played his trump cards; he hadn’t even used support Magic like the Weakness Curse. He just went in hard with three Bone Spear Skills and effortlessly broke the charge of Carl’s trio.

’This is no fun. I’ll end this quickly.’

With a thought, Lynch acted.

The next instant.

A banner radiating a powerful aura of death abruptly unfurled before him—it was his core equipment, the Death Banner!

HUMMM—!

A massive spatial vortex rapidly formed beneath the banner, from which a dense, almost tangible aura of death gushed out.

Following that, three colossal figures stepped out from within. Each footstep made the muddy flats tremble.

They were three Purple Zombies.

Each of them stood over three and a half meters tall. Their muscles were gnarled like the roots of an ancient tree, and their bodies were covered in purplish-black Scale Armor. They all radiated a terrifying, suffocating aura.

Fierce Soul Fires danced in their eye sockets. Fangs protruded from their faces, and their hands ended in knife-like claws. These were, shockingly, all Tier Four Purple Zombies.

ROAR—!!

The moment they appeared, the three Purple Zombies let out a deafening roar. Then, like three moving iron towers, they charged respectively toward Carl, the Shield Warrior, and the Berserker.

"How is that possible?!" Carl’s eyes went wide, his face turning ashen. "Tier Four Purple Zombies?! And three of them?!"

Seeing the Purple Zombies charge, he quickly tightened his grip on his Holy Hammer and shouted in a grave voice, "Formation! Form up and defend!"

Although all three were injured, they weren’t incapacitated. They quickly got to their feet, gathered together, and formed a back-to-back triangular formation. At the same time, they rapidly circulated their Holy Light and combat aura, weaving them into a shield in front of them to try and withstand the Purple Zombies’ ferocious attack.

However, the strength of the Tier Four Purple Zombies was simply monstrous.

Every one of their punches came down with the intimidating force of a Siege Hammer strike.

They didn’t even use any other moves. They just relentlessly smashed their fists into the shield, one unadorned punch after another. The sheer force made the trio’s blood roil and their shield flicker as if it would collapse at any moment.

"You guys have fun for a bit."

Lynch gave an indifferent smile, not even bothering to spare Carl’s group another glance.

He gently lifted his right hand, which held the Raven Staff, and its tip flashed with a dark light.

[Short Distance Phase Transmission Skill].

SWOOSH!

Space warped slightly. Lynch and his Hellhound’s figures vanished instantly, reappearing the next moment behind the twenty-some elite students from the Imperial Capital Academy!

"What?!"

"He’s behind us!"

"Watch out—!"

Some of the Imperial Capital Academy students noticed his sudden movement and cried out in alarm. The crowd of students paled and turned around, but it was already too late.

The very instant the teleportation had finished, Lynch had already raised his wrist. The "Bone Bracelet" on his left arm began to glow with a dark light.

Accompanied by a world-shaking roar, a three-headed zombie Hellhound of despairingly large proportions materialized out of thin air.

It was several times larger than Lynch’s own Tier Three Hellish Skeleton Dog. Its shoulder height alone was nearly three meters. Its three massive heads looked majestic and domineering, its muscles were gnarled like iron, and its aura was shockingly close to Tier Five.

Even the six clusters of eerie green Soul Fire burning in its eye sockets were clearly more solid and vibrant than those of Xiao Tu, the Hellish Skeleton Dog.

"ROAR! ROAR! ROAR!"
