Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP

Chapter 675: The Unconquerable Mountain

Rita looked up at the still-tumbling Konquest with that same gentle, disarming smile.

"You have one shot," she said softly, her voice carrying clearly across the distance.

"One shot to end me. So... give it your best."

Konquest finally stabilized himself in the air, his massive frame halting mid-flight with an unnatural twist.

He raised his head, locking his burning gaze directly onto Rita’s black eyes.

The surrounding light years were a desolate wasteland of utter ruin.

Even as he watched, the desolation continued to spread outward in slow, inevitable waves — entire sections of the battlefield turning to ash and distant horrors simply ceasing to be as Rita’s passive presence imposed Finality on everything around her.

Hearing her word, Konquest’s voice rumbled like the grinding of stones, deep, resonant, and filled with the arrogance of one who had long seen himself as inevitable.

"You dare treat me, like some insignificant insect?" he said, his tone carrying the weight of absolute dominion.

"I am Konquest." He declared as if Rita had know idea who he was.

"I am the force that has crushed the hope and ground hundreds of civilizations into dust. And you dare... belittle me?"

He raised his massive war staff, its head crackling with destructive energy as the desolation around them continued to spread — entire sections of the battlefield turning to ash and void in seconds.

"I will break you....." Konquest paused for a moment as his eyes burned with cold fury as he pointed the staff directly at Rita, the air around him warping with the promise of total annihilation.

Rita tilted her head slightly, watching as Konquest opened his mouth to continue his grandiose speech.

Her black eyes narrowed with mild annoyance.

"Oh, hell no," she said softly, shaking her head.

She had made it perfectly clear—he had one chance to finish her.

Yet instead of acting, he wasted those precious moments proclaiming his presence as if he were addressing the entire novel.

He didn’t even bother to truly see who stood before him.

With a small shake of her head, she lifted a single, graceful finger and aimed it directly at him. In that very moment, she unleashed her Codex Power—her most intimate and unquestionable power.

As mentioned before, each and every one of the Ineffable now possessed their Codex Powers, or more accurately, Divine Powers.

Which meant... well, he didn’t stand a chance.

HUMMMMMM!

|The Last Word (Tier 21)|

By now, Rita’s divine power had grown so great that with just a single word, she could bring an end to anything—and shape that ending exactly as she imagined.

Her voice was calm, almost tender, yet it carried the unshakable weight of a conclusion that could not be denied.

"Go be rewarded... with death."

Konquest’s next words died in his throat.

His massive body froze mid-motion, the tyrant energy crackling around his war staff suddenly snuffing out like a candle in the wind.

His eyes widened in shock as an invisible force seized him, pulling his consciousness away from the battlefield and into a vision of his own inevitable end.

The last thing he saw before the vision consumed him was Rita’s innocent, almost childlike smile — the same gentle expression she had worn when she first appeared.

----

Konquest found himself pulled into a vision of a distant future — another Endless Reality, far removed from the current battlefield.

He stood in a grand, oppressive throne room built from the miniaturized remains of conquered realities.

Tiny, glowing orbs floated around the throne like captured stars, each one containing an entire universe trapped in eternal servitude.

The sky above was a deep, unnatural black, streaked with the dying light of devoured realms.

In the vision, Konquest sat upon a massive throne of black stone, his posture regal and imposing as he plotted his next conquest.

His eyes gleamed with cold ambition, his massive war staff resting across his lap like a scepter of dominion.

The real Konquest, watching from within the vision, felt a chill run down his spine as glowing words appeared before him in the void:

Era 1990... your final Era.

Before he could process the warning, a figure materialized before the throne.

It was one of his closest subordinates — a tall, gaunt man with pale, almost corpse-like skin, sunken eyes that burned with fanatical loyalty, and long, skeletal fingers that constantly twitched as if eager to serve.

His eyes widened in shock as he stared at the gaunt, aged man standing before his throne.

Recognition dawned on his face, followed immediately by disbelief.

"...Vesaad?"

The name left Konquest’s lips in a low, stunned mutter

Vesaad — one of his oldest and most trusted subordinates — looked millennia, if not millions of years, older than Konquest remembered.

----

"My Lord," he said, his tone carrying clear warning. "The plan you are considering... it is not a good idea. The risks are far greater than we anticipated. If we proceed, we may lose everything we have built."

Konquest in the vision leaned forward on his throne of conquered realities, his eyes narrowing as he studied the man.

"What makes this conquest different from any other?" he demanded, his voice a low rumble that echoed through the grand hall.

The subordinate straightened slightly, though his gaunt face remained etched with worry.

He waved his skeletal hand, and a projection materialized in the air before the throne — a vast, endless reality captured from a great distance.

It appeared as a colossal landmass floating in the void, its surface shrouded in swirling mists and ancient forests.

At its center rose a single, incomprehensible mountain that stretched upward so far it pierced beyond the visible limits of even their perception, its peak lost in an endless haze of conceptual fog.

"Despite seeming normal on the surface," the subordinate continued, his voice trembling slightly,

"We cannot see inside the reality at all. Our probes, our sight, our power — nothing can penetrate it. We cannot even leave a mark on its outer shell. It... resists us in a way nothing else ever has."

Konquest stared at the projection for a long moment, his expression hardening into one of cold resolve.

The countless conquered realities orbiting his throne pulsed faintly as if reacting to his decision.

"We proceed," he said simply, his voice final and unyielding.
