Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP

Chapter 674: The Reward.... is Death

"So, which of you three are planning to fight him?" Summer asked as she looked at her triplets with smiles.

Riyan smiled, cracking his knuckles with a sharp pop that echoed softly.

"I’m definitely in," he said, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Father brought us all here and I’ve yet to have a real fight."

Rye crossed his arms, looking out at the distant figure of Konquest leading a massive swarm of horrors against the Existence warriors.

"Brother how about you sit this one out?," Rye said, his voice confident. "Let me go stretch my legs... father interrupted my tournament after all"

Out of the triplets, Rye still remained the one who loved battled the most. And before the Fall of the Prime Expanse began, he himself was hosting a multiversal wide tournament just to ease his entertainment.

Rita raised an eyebrow, seeing them opt in completely forgetting her.

"You two always try to hog the fun," she said. "Besides, you both owe me from that last spar we had. Remember... I’m the one who leads the connection between us three."

She laughed remembering how back when they were sent out to gain experience, they had a battle to determine whose star of their three would essentially be the strongest.

Ever since they were born as triplets, their fates had been intertwined from the very start. Riyan scoffed and turned to her with a wry smile.

"That was just one time! And you only won because of that damn Divine Power."

Rye nodded in agreement. "Yeah, and I’ve been holding back during our training sessions lately." He scratched his head lightly before adding, "So you really shouldn’t count those either."

Rita laughed, shaking her head as she placed her hands on her hips.

"You two are impossible." She then pointed at herself. "Anyways I’m a girl and I’m the youngest of us three!"

Summer, Katherine, and Morphea watched the sibling argument with amused smiles.

Summer chuckled softly, her eyes dark eyes glowing with maternal warmth.

"You three are always like this," she said with a fond smile.

"But Rita’s right — she is the youngest and the strongest, so let her take care of this one."

Katherine gave a playful head tilt as she sipped her wine, her eyes glinting with mischief.

"Besides, you two will have your fun when we head over to stir things up at that First Absence place, so try not to be greedy."

Morphea smiled dreamily, her hair catching the light as she remarked, "It’s always quite the spectacle when you three get together, isn’t it?"

At the sound of their mothers’ voice, Riyan and Rye let out reluctant grunts of agreement, though the disappointment still lingered in their expressions.

Rita, however, laughed brightly as she stepped forward, her eyes alight with excitement.

"Alright, I’ll take this one," she declared with a grin. "Just try not to be too jealous when I get back."

Rye exhaled in a resigned sigh, watching her make her way down toward the battlefield.

"She never knows how to savor a fight," he muttered under his breath. "Always ends them before they even get interesting."

----

Rita appeared in the midst of Konquest’s charge.

HUMMMMM!!!!!

The moment she materialized, a silent, absolute wave of Finality swept across the surrounding light year of the battlefield.

Every Divine Horror and Existence warrior in that radius simply... ended.

There was no grand explosion, no dramatic struggle.

It was as though their bodies just gave out, as if the end had arrived on its own, without any sign or reason.

In an instant, millions upon millions of beings crumpled where they stood, their shapes breaking apart into drifting clouds of white and gold mist, mingled with black ash that floated gently away into the emptiness.

The air turned still, and the once deafening roars and crashing echoes of battle faded into a strange, sudden silence that seemed to stretch endlessly across the vast space.

Konquest, who had been moments away from crushing an Existence warrior with his massive war staff, froze mid-swing.

Before he could react, Rita’s delicate finger flicked forward in a single, almost playful pluck against his chest.

BOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!

The impact, however, was anything but playful, hurling Konquest backward with an unstoppable force.

His massive frame spun end over end through the air, smashing into swarms of horrors more than a light-year away, scattering them into mist as he continued to tumble wildly for miles.

Seeing him go, Rita stood calmly in the now-cleared space, her long black hair drifting gently in the conceptual winds.

She wore a beautiful short black dress with intricate red designs that seemed to shift and flow like living runes.

From her ears hung delicate red infinity earrings that caught the fractured light of the battlefield.

Her pale skin glowed softly against the darkness, and her black eyes held an innocent, almost childlike smile as she clasped her hands behind her back.

She looked up at the still-tumbling Konquest with that same gentle, disarming smile.

"You have one shot," she said softly, her voice carrying clearly across the distance. "One shot to end me. So... give it your best."

Much like Rye had said, Rita had interest in flashy battles or putting on a show.

She was the embodiment of Finality, and that was all that mattered to her when it came to combat.

Before Sylas and Konquest even arrived, Ash had given them a mission—one that, if completed, promised a reward.

The truth was, Ash knew from the start it was a literal mission impossible. Still, they managed to make things more entertaining for him, and that was enough.

Deciding to acknowledge their effort, Ash chose to reward them in the same way Shia had rewarded Sylas.

Whether it was a gift or a curse, death was something most beings in the world of power knew would eventually find them.

But Ash had made sure to give them the key that might let them escape it.

And Rita—she wasn’t there to waste time or toy with him; she was there to see it through.

Konquest finally stabilized himself in the distance, his war staff gripped tightly as he glared at the small, unassuming figure standing amid the ashes of what had once been a battlefield.

His expression twisted with a mix of rage and disbelief.

"One... shot?!"
