Chapter 413: Sixteen Years Later

Chapter 413: Sixteen Years Later

[A/N: Alright, I’ve already shown the typical upbringing of the Ineffable Heirs with Aurora. So, this time will be done in a much different manner.]

Inside the grandest throne room, Ash stood in front of the newest members of the family.

The twelve young heirs — all exactly 16 years old and already at Tier 10 True God rank — stood in a loose semicircle before him, their presence filling the hall with vibrant, youthful energy.

Aurora hung comfortably on his right arm, white-blue hair cascading over his shoulder as she leaned into him with a bright, playful smile.

Xeros stood a little off to the side, arms crossed, watching the scene with a calm but proud expression.

Ash looked at each of them one by one, his golden eyes warm with quiet pride.

“Alright,” he said as he chuckled. “You all are indeed my seeds. Today you all are sixteen years old and already True Gods. I’m proud of every single one of you.”

He paused, letting the words sink in. These twelve were unlike the other members of the Ineffable Pantheon.

Not just Aurora—by now every member of the Ineffable was tied to Ash’s growth.

At present, he was still a Tier 16 God Emperor, as were the rest. But with these twelve, Ash had made them start from the very beginning.

At birth, they had only been at the Awakened rank, the point being to build character rather than raise spoiled brats.

Even though nothing could truly harm them, Ash had no desire to see snot-nosed heirs running wild.

’Nobody wants spoiled brats thinking the world revolves around them….’ he mused before continuing.

“I’m giving you 8,000 years. The whole Pantheos — except for Panthun — is yours to roam. Go wherever you want. Do whatever you want. Live however you want….. Explore, fight, create, fall in love, mess up… just grow.”

Hearing the tail end of his words caused each and every daughter scoff.

Riona the daughter of Vaeloria, tilted her head with a sharp smile.

“Eight thousand years of freedom… it sounds good, but who’s falling in love?”

Seris’s daughter, Emily, giggled softly, twirling a strand of her red hair.

“Daddy, I only want to command a few wars… other than that I want to be with you.”

Each of the children each began to chime in with different remarks… with the girls all showing similar signs to Aurora.

Who watched it all with narrowed eyes, “You little girls… didn’t I tell you daddy is off limits?”

Riya, one of the triplets, rolled her dark eyes at Aurora but smiled warmly.

“Hmph, big sister, it’s not fair that you get to…” Her words trailed off as Aurora blushed and turned away.

Aurora may or may not have been caught by her younger sister watching some tapes of Ash…

Quell, the son of Seraphiel, laughed. “I think Father was talking to us. I’m sure there are countless beauties waiting for us.”

He rubbed his hands at the very thought of it.

The same idea crossed the minds of a few of his other sons too—after all, how could they be blamed, having grown up in a palace filled with thousands of women?

And every one of them was solely focused on Ash himself, a fact that was undeniably motivating.

However, Yonna’s son, Drake he didn’t have the same outlook.

“Father… are you sure we are free to do as we please?”

Ash listened to each of them and when Drake spoke, he only nodded.

“Indeed, I won’t hold your hands.” He said and then he gave them one last size up before continuing.

“Eight thousand years,” he repeated. “Use them well. When that time is up… you’ll step onto a much more serious stage. The kind where quite literally anything might happen.”

He looked at them all — his sons and daughters — with steady, loving eyes.

“But until then… go live. Make your own stories. I’ll be here when you need me.”

With those words each of the twelve rushed him giving him hugs and endless admiration and respect.

Once it was done, they all were enveloped in different lights as they teleported away.

Aurora squeezed his arm lightly, smiling up at him.

“See? Daddy’s not so bad.”

Xeros finally uncrossed his arms, a small, reluctant smile tugging at his lips.

“…I’m sure they will continue to make you proud Father.”

And while the journey of the new heirs was just beginning, there was a certain heiress that had still not showed up.

Currently in the Universe of Beauty, Nia could be seen lounging on a couch as she looked at Persephone, Aurelia, Elara and Aphrodite.

Nia lounged lazily, one leg draped over the armrest, as she sipped from a glass of wine.

“So… the kids are finally off doing their own thing,” she said. “Eight thousand years of freedom. I bet it won’t be long before half of them is causing trouble somewhere.”

Persephone spoke as she was moving her hands at seemingly nothing. However, in her eyes, she was manipulating her new garden…. all the way in her own universe.

“Perhaps… Drake will be the most troublesome.”

Aurelia laughed lightly, twirling a strand of her hair.

“I can definitely see it… I’m sure husband does as well.”

Elara nodded with a gentle smile.

“He will be fine… not just that I’m sure Aurora won’t let them be completely alone.”

They continued for a while longer — with the usual teasing… some stories about the children growing up, and quiet hopes for the future — until Nia suddenly sat up straighter, her expression shifting from playful to purposeful.

She met Aphrodite’s gaze.

“Ashy said Ellyn would arrive in a few decades… and that bastard already made her miss her sibling’s childhood.”

Rising to her feet, she cracked her neck. “Let’s go get Ellyn. I want to meet her.”

Aphrodite’s brows lifted slightly before she chuckled knowingly.

“…Or do you just want an excuse to pummel Kaelthyr?”

Nia only smiled, and without another word, the two women vanished. Watching them leave, Aurelia laughed.

“She won’t accept him into the clan unless he can draw blood. Damn, she’s tough.”
