Chapter 403: Let The Games Begin (2)
When his eyes opened once more, the nine black rings within them spun with intense velocity.
In that instant, with a single glance and the power of One Sight, the entirety of the Middle Dimension of the Earth Plane transformed into a vast, unblemished white canvas.
Every mountain, every floating island, every heaven—each dissolved seamlessly into a realm of immaculate, featureless white.
With One Sight still engaged and his Divinity spreading outward like roots penetrating rich, fertile soil, Ash, invoking his Decree, spoke with authority.
“Let every dimensional barrier be revealed before my eyes. The Middle-Lower Dimensions of the remaining eight organisms shall manifest together.”
In that instant, his gaze transcended the ninth Organism completely. The partitions between dimensions dissolved, peeling away like delicate, translucent veils.
And just as he had proclaimed, Ash could see them all. This came so easily to him, which was why he had previously stated that he could accomplish it without much difficulty.
Before his eyes, every Dimension of the other eight Organisms lay revealed—vast, intricately layered, and brimming with life, power, and conflict.
He perceived the Middle and Lower dimensions of each Organism with perfect clarity, as if they were charted on a single, expansive map. Countless realms, innumerable beings, and endless wars and events unfolded simultaneously before his gaze.
He took another blink and with External Conversion active.
Instead of turning everything into a blank canvas. He instead…. began to move his hands as if pulling on faint threads.
HUMMMMMM!!!!!!!!
Then in that moment, all sixteen dimensions and including every single thing inside of it. Whether it be universes, worlds, realms, beings…. it didn’t matter.
Every single thing was turned into one single seed.
And left nothing behind but one blank canvas.
“Since they want to use reality as a game… I’ll just continue do what I’ve always done. Break this… and Break that.” Ash muttered as he put the seed into his inner verse.
In the next moment, each and every blank canvas was brought inside of his inner verse as well…. Leaving absolutely nothing behind.
Not even a canvas…
Yet, before he left, he took one last blink.
This blink would ensure nothing would be traced back…. the organisms and the higher dimension will operate as if everything was in its natural state.
“Once a month comes…. it won’t even matter by then.” He said as he disappeared.
—–
Back inside his inner verse, Ash didn’t return to his women just yet.
Instead, he would get business out of the way first before indulging in a break.
In front of him was his creation… a massive world that was easily the size of multiple universes.
This was Pantheos…. the realm he created using the previous dimensions.
From the outside, it looked strikingly like Earth — the same beautiful blue-and-white marble suspended in the void.
It was evidently much larger, for this world was far from simple, and its size was not merely for display.
This realm was being constructed upon an ancient Earthen concept: the Hollow Earth theory.
Ash, as previously noted, possessed a deep fascination with all things fantastical and mythical, eagerly reading any such knowledge he could obtain.
The Hollow Earth theory, often speculated by some to be connected to Antarctica, was the foundation he sought to explore.
Unlike traditional ascension methods, this world offers numerous entry points, each guiding a cultivator steadily closer to the realm’s core.
“And so, all sixteen dimensions merged seamlessly into Pantheos. Yet, every entry must possess an underside—its counterpart.”
HUMMMMM!
The moment the words were etched onto the paper… Pantheos responded.
The massive world — already the size of multiple universes — began to expand even more.
It did not grow violently or chaotically.
It simply… became more.
The blue oceans deepened, their surfaces shimmering with an endless radiance of Divinity.
Above, white clouds thickened and swirled, interwoven with golden auroras carrying traces of phenomena never before present on the original Earth.
As expected, the world was expanding to accommodate the multitude of dimensions constructed within it.
And, as he noted while writing, the underside had manifested as well.
This expansion was not limited to the exterior; it also extended inward, granting the realm infinitely greater depth.
Each progression deeper into Pantheos now revealed two sides of the same coin—capable of sustaining life yet fostering vastly different forms of existence.
The entry points into each deeper layer were accessible solely through the oceans.
He did not pause as he continued inscribing immutable decrees that would serve as the fundamental laws of the world—governing concepts such as time, space, life, death, and more.
These decrees were meticulously crafted for these essential operations and beyond.
Upon completion, he observed his creation from above with a satisfied smile.
“That protagonist of mine had better appreciate my hard work,” he murmured as Elysia materialized upon his shoulder.
“Hmm, what golden finger are you planning to grant him?” she inquired, noting that his mind was currently a maelstrom of thoughts, making it impossible for her to discern his predominant inclination.
“Let us concern ourselves with that later… for the next ten thousand years,” he declared as he began to fade from sight.
“You are all mine… completely.” If existence required ten millennia to reconstitute itself, he intended to devote that span to indulging in the finest pleasures.
—–
While Ash and his wives had begun to busy themselves, a month had come and went swiftly.
And much like he had seen and was told…. the Ending of the Cycle had come about. Which didn’t really destroy anything… as there was nothing left to destroy.
Only those who were the absolute weakest in the High Dimensions found themselves completely wiped out.
And with reality being nothing but endless nothingness…. only a few beings dared to operate outside.
—
In the Second Dimension, a solitary door floated in the void, concealing behind it an expansive and intricate personal domain.
Within this realm, upon a polished marble balcony, sat a woman calmly sipping tea from a cup ignited with living flames.
She was a Fire Genasi—her skin a radiant, glowing bronze shot through with flickers of inner embers, her long hair cascading like molten lava, each strand shifting and flowing as if with its own will.
Her eyes burned with a steady orange-gold luminance, and delicate tongues of fire would dance along her fingertips with every subtle movement.
Known as The Merchant, one of the esteemed eighteen champions, she savored another deliberate sip of the rare tea, a flavor long vanished from all other places.
A faint ripple disturbed the air, heralding the arrival of a guest.
From a fold in space stepped a tall, lean man who’s dark, fitted garments seemed to drink in surrounding light.
His gray hair was disheveled, his sharp eyes glinted with sly amusement, and a perpetual smirk curved his lips.
This was The Thief—another of the eighteen champions.
Normally, these champions would never cross paths, preferring to steer clear of one another unless absolutely necessary.
But with the close of the cycle came news of a shift in the game—one that stretched the clock, dangled the promise of greater power, and offered an easy edge over the competition.
All of it pointed to the game’s newest player.
He leaned against the balcony railing, arms folded, a lazy grin tugging at his lips.
“Well, well. If it isn’t the Merchant herself. I didn’t think you’d invite me over for tea…. I thought we were still supposed to be trying to kill each other.”
The Merchant placed her cup down with a soft clink, her fiery hair swaying as she tilted her head.
“Consider it a first… the first time two Champions are meeting without immediately trying to erase one another,” she said, voice smooth.
“You know just as well as I… the game has changed and I’m sure the others are already plotting.”
The Thief chuckled, pulling out a chair that hadn’t been there a second ago and dropping into it.
“Fair enough. I’ve seen gotten the news as well. That guy — Ash Originat — according to our little sponsors…. He’s a serious threat.”
The Merchant took another sip, eyes narrowing thoughtfully.
“Which is why we must begin planning now. By the time existence forms again… we need to ready to launch a strike the moment he shows his face.”
The Thief leaned back, spinning a small, stolen coin between his fingers.
“So, what’s your move, Merchant?” He asked, “I’m sure you need my specialty, right?”
