Chapter 206: A New Direction
Chapter 206: A New Direction
As Ash departed the Venia Galaxy in a haze of shock and silence, two beings looked on, struggling to grasp the enigma before them. Far away in the Vossmere Consortium, Layla and Archie remained in their secluded realm.
Even here, the broadcast was visible. Archie shook his head as the realm returned to normal.
“That kid… just how many times is he going to change?”
“Screw that… is he even planning on participating in the event?” Layla remarked.
The event was still about three years away, but she could already tell Ash’s power was on a level even she hadn’t touched.
It wasn’t just them; similar conversations were happening everywhere—even aboard a starship that had just reached the Myriad Sect of Races. Gazing out the windows, Shia found herself utterly speechless.
“Ash?” she asked softly. From the bounty photo, she could tell his appearance had changed, but even so, he looked so different that the outdated image didn’t come close to capturing him.
“Isn’t that one of the princess’s children?” Shane, a burly man with long black hair, asked.
“He… he’s beautiful…” Aliya murmured under her breath, her long white hair streaked with black swaying slightly.
Zhareth stayed silent, though he was just as overwhelmed by the moment. Shia felt her heart race, but before she could get lost too deeply in her thoughts, she turned toward the exit and said,
“Let’s go… my little sister is waiting.”
With those words they all made their way into the Myriad Sect of Races.

The Galaxy was on edge.
With the elusive Ash finally revealing himself and watching an entire Galaxy wiped out, everyone waited to see what kind of shockwaves this would send rippling through the stars.
The bounty?
That was old news.
Now that it was clear Ash was a monster unlike any other, who in their right mind would dare go after him? That’d be nothing but a fast track to an early grave.
And Ash himself…
Well, he had just reappeared on the ruined Nocturne Prime. It was nothing like what it had been for many eras, but he didn’t care one bit. In front of him was Raven and in her arms were the broken Katherine and Summer.
Seeing them like that left an ache in his chest. But instead of dwelling on the past, he decided to make things right—fix it so none of his lovers would ever have to worry about falling into those clutches again.
No, not just his lovers—anyone he considered his own.
And these two were his, through and through.
Without hesitation, he brought them into his inner Cosmos, straight to the Original Haven.
Once inside, he spoke to Raven…
“This place will heal them and help them recover fully.” As he spoke, things began to appear around them—beds, hot springs, and other comforts to ensure the two felt at ease…
From beds of soft rose-pink silk that seemed to breathe with gentle warmth, to hot springs bubbling with healing essence that filled the air with soothing steam scented of blooming jasmine and starlight, to floating orbs of pure restorative mana that hovered nearby, ready to mend flesh and soul alike.
He then began to clean them while he continued speaking—his hands gentle despite the rage still simmering beneath, fingers tracing over scarred skin with feather-light touches as warm, glowing water manifested from his will, washing away layers of dried blood and grime in slow, careful streams.
The water shimmered with rose-pink light, carrying away not just physical filth but traces of lingering torment, soothing inflamed wounds that knit closed under its touch, easing the tension in their battered bodies as faint sighs escaped their unconscious lips.
“I will be heading out for a while; in the meantime, you should reach Cosmic Overlord as soon as possible… and truly understand your new abilities.”
He worked methodically, voice low and steady, wiping matted hair from their faces, cleansing every mark of cruelty with deliberate care
When he finished cleaning the two women, he dressed them in light clothing… just bra and panties of soft, breathable silk that materialized in gentle rose-pink hues.
He laid them in the bed, then noticed Raven watching with a loving smile.
She didn’t blame Ash for not looking out for her friends or the two women he had been with. It was understandable, knowing how death can weigh on a person’s mind—even if only subconsciously.
“Right, this place is pretty comfortable… So, I don’t mind chilling for a while.” Raven said before approaching him with a loving hug and kiss.
After they parted ways, Ash shared a few more insights, including some handy resources and the time dilation inside of the Haven. Once he was done, he withdrew from his inner cosmos, focused solely on one goal—evolving each and every one of his companions.
By now, he understood that each of them had been teleported to places ideal for their growth. He remembered setting a time for their next meeting, but at the moment, he couldn’t care less about such trivial matters.
“Honestly, what the hell was I thinking?” he muttered, shaking his head.
[I told you several times! If you can empower them, then do it!] Elysia said, exasperated.
[Seriously, it makes no sense to have the power to ensure they’re strong but refuse just because you want them to earn it!]
Ash didn’t reply because she knew she was right… but things wouldn’t be the same again.
After all, when you think about it, what race, faction, or group has ever truly achieved something entirely on their own? There’s almost always someone above them—an Ancestor, a Master, or even parents—making life easier in some way.
Over the next six months, Ash journeyed to eight different worlds, some within Venia and others scattered across distant galaxies. Each of his companions experienced 500-fold evolutions, reaching a level where anyone daring to challenge them would be in for a very bad day.
Once finished, he found himself outside the first world he had begun on after leaving Elaris.
The world of Astralis…
