Chapter 175: Kael vs Vark - Seris vs Zeth
Chapter 175: Kael vs Vark – Seris vs Zeth
In the skies a young man that looked no more than 21 years old, he stood.
He had short white hair with blood red eyes that held literal lightning bolts—tiny arcs of crimson electricity dancing within the irises like caged storms.
His wings fluttered repeatedly behind him as he went blow for blow with a foe at the Sixth Calamity rank—each clash sending shockwaves that cracked the air and lit the battlefield in flashes of red and violet.
At the very beginning of this siege each of the eight Originat were picked out by the leaders of each of invading domains. Unlike Ash, they couldn’t examine others and appraise them knowing things beforehand.
They had to find it out the hard way… and that was through battle.
On the other side of Kael’s blow was a figure who stood lean with pale skin. His beauty was out of this world though lesser than the Primavus he looked outstanding. He was lean and had dotted pupils that were dark blue, flickering with inner lightning that made his gaze feel like staring into a storm about to break.
Both were skilled lightning users, but each wielded it in completely different ways. Vark, a Stormborn Asura—half Asura, half thunder beast—fought with wild energy, laughing and chattering incessantly in Kael’s ear. His sharp, manic voice cut through the roar of their clashing strikes.
“Haha! Lightning is destruction, brat!” he roared, taking the full force of Kael’s lightning—CRACKLE!—the energy soaking into him like rain into dry soil, his veins blazing brighter with stolen power.
“You treat it like some cheap trick!” he snarled, swinging his scepter as Kael ducked beneath it, a sly smirk playing on his lips.
The man’s talking didn’t bother Kael one bit… instead it brought him a thrill. One, to bring this man down under his foot. The moment he ducked he activated the Law of Blood causing the absorbed lightning to attack inside the man’s body.
CRACKLE!!!!
The lightning laced blood immediately began to cause destruction to his very bloodline—veins bulging, skin splitting in tiny arcs of red electricity, the smell of ozone and burning flesh filling the air around them.
Vark moved quickly sensing the danger. He crossed his arms in an X blocking the incoming kick by Kael.
BOOOM!
The impact sent him flying backwards… crashing through floating debris and leaving a trail of shattered stone and sparks.
As he recovered he channeled a Calamity Law.
|Calamity of Endless Retribution|
All of the lightning disappeared from his veins and immediately appeared within Kael and begun to wreck his bloodline at double the power—red arcs exploding outward from Kael’s skin, blood boiling, bones vibrating with destructive force.
“FUCK!” Kael shouted, but before he could even counter, the Primavus bloodline instantly erased the destruction, making him raise a brow.
Watching him recover so fast made Vark laugh like a madman, his Asura nature starting to show—horns curling longer, eyes glowing brighter, voice dropping into a deep, guttural roar.
“I’d be a disgrace to my big brother if I let you beat me… and with my own power, no less,” Kael spat, cracking his neck as a sword of lightning, blood, and flow materialized in his grasp, the weapon forged from the very laws of Calamity he had just invoked.
As he matured as a cultivator himself… like the others his nexus pushed him to perfection. He had learned multiple laws since being at the sect but one he liked the most was the Law of Flow.
The Law of Flow allowed Kael to manipulate the natural currents of everything—mana, blood, air, momentum, even the flow of an opponent’s own power. It turned attacks into rivers he could redirect, defenses into streams he could divert, and his own strikes into unstoppable tides that followed the path of least resistance straight to the target’s core.
|Calamity Law – Law of Stormborn Cataclysm|
HUMMMM!
The moment the law erupted the very flows of mana, air, and everything else erupted in waves of blood filled with lightning arcs—crimson rivers of energy twisting through the sky like living serpents, crackling with red electricity that arced and snapped with every movement.
The calamity sought to drain Vark’s life force as anything touched was electrocuted, boiled from the inside, and drained of vitality. They followed the target’s flow—seeking veins and bloodline channels—slithering through the smallest openings, burning and consuming as they went, leaving trails of blackened, smoking flesh behind.
CRACKLE!
Vark snarled as the first wave hit, his skin blistering and blood bubbling, thin red wisps of life force drifting away and feeding back into Kael’s sword of blood and lightning.
While Kael gained the upper hand…

Seris found herself in a difficult position.
She found herself face-to-face with a parasite—literally. Her opponent was Zeth, a member of the Anti, a parasitic race capable of devouring and nullifying anything.
Zeth’s humanoid form was tall and gaunt, skin pale gray and slick like wet stone, veins pulsing black beneath the surface.
His face was unnaturally smooth—no nose, no ears, only a wide lipless mouth filled with needle-like teeth and eyes that were solid black orbs with faint white rings. His arms ended in long, segmented claws that dripped black ichor, and from his back sprouted writhing tendrils that ended in lamprey-like mouths, constantly tasting the air.
Seris frowned as she watched as her thousands of summons fought against exact replicas of themselves. It was like a war inside itself… The two of them stood in the midst of all the carnage as both of them had bleeding figures.
It was odd, even with her Primavus bloodline… She was having trouble regenerating and it was causing her to lose mana and vitality fast. Zeth smirked as black blood covered his teeth.
“Ahhh, I bet you’re wondering just why you aren’t recovering fast?” He spoke in a tone that made her ears want to bleed.
He was not the usual cultivator running around these domain games… No, he was one with cheats… Something Ash feared, his lovers would eventually run into. During their initial skirmish as Seris used her daggers and Zeth used his claws they both fought to a standstill… both drawing blood.
However during this time Zeth used what he called the Nullsite… a paragon ranked insect he grew inside of his heart… once every thirty days a new one will grow. It slipped inside of Seris wounds undetected and before it was wiped out by the bloodline itself…
The slightest piece was copied which had given Zeth a speck of Primavus bloodline.
And now as Seris frowned hearing his sickening voice… Zeth felt the assimilation reach a peak… and then
BOOOOM!!!
In an instant, his aura burst forth, and the grotesque figure vanished. Wings sprouted from his back, along with ears and a nose. His hair began to take on a white tint as he felt his assimilation reach its peak.
“What the fuck?” Seris blurted out as she was staring at pure blasphemy.
