Chapter 798 The Starting Point Of Their Journey
Chapter 798 The Starting Point Of Their Journey
Half an hour later…
With the help of his Monster Army, Thirteen finally extricated himself from Cranky.
Of course, there was no violence involved. Giga, Blacky, Rocky, Hercules, and the others considered the Savage Colossal Honey Badger as their Big Brother, so they couldn’t possibly use brute force against it.
Besides, Cranky was incredibly strong that not even Rocky, Thirteen’s strongest monster, could defeat him in battle.
Even if the Honey Badger were trapped in boiling hot lava, Rocky’s home turf, Cranky would just swim in it as if he were relaxing in a giant hot spring.
He might even order Rocky to heat things up because lava could only, at most, slightly warm him up.
“Okay, introductions first,” Thirteen said. “Cranky, this is Clark, Vincent, and Char. The three of you, this is Cranky. Just as his name implies, he gets cranky very easily, so you better not make him angry.”
After being introduced, Cranky casually picked Zion up once more and hugged the latter like a Teddy Bear.
Although his size was already reduced down to five meters, he was still a giant that towered over the teenagers, who were currently looking up at him with curiosity. Having been captured by Cranky once again, Thirteen helplessly sighed but no longer asked his Monster Army to help to be from the Honey Badger, who really seemed happy to see him again.
Even the pilgrims couldn’t believe their eyes no matter how long they looked at their hot-tempered Guardian, who seemed to be enjoying himself as he hugged the teenage boy in his arms.
“All of you must be wondering why I brought you here, and the reason for that is simple,” Thirteen said. “You will train with my subordinates.”
The teenager then pointed at the three monsters, whom he had chosen to become the training partners of his new recruits.
“Clark, you will fight against T1.”
“Char, you will fight against Drazzat.”
“Vincent, you will fight against Giga.”
Thirteen chose the Troll Warlord as Clark’s opponent due to the former’s brute strength. He wanted the ex-scion to hone his fighting skills instead of heavily relying on trickery.
The young man’s sword skill was good, but it was still rough in Thirteen’s eyes. In order to get stronger, he needed to surpass his current skill level, which would allow him to break his current limit.
Char, on the other hand, was going to face the Lizardman Commander, Drazzat, who had chosen to follow Zion.
The young lady’s fighting style was unpredictable, and only Drazzat, who had a lot of battle experience, would be able to see through her attack patterns.
As for Vincent, Thirteen instructed Giga to not hold back and use the Giga Destroyer if he felt like it.
Frankly, there was a bit of bias in this decision. He wanted to instill fear in the playboy so that the latter wouldn’t dare to even dream of approaching his sister again.
The handsome young man was Thirteen’s former host in the past, so he understood how he operated like the back of his hand.
He still considered Vincent as his best friend, which was why he needed to beat him up and erase the flaws he had in the past.
Thirteen believed that after Vincent’s training was over, he would no longer suffer a pitiful death like he had a hundred years ago, which left the System of Cannon Fodders heartbroken. The three monsters were all Peak Rank 6 Sovereigns and were stronger than the teenagers by a large margin.
Thirteen believed that these teenagers would play an important role in two years, and only by fighting strong opponents would they exponentially grow fast.
“This will be your daily schedule,” Thirteen stated. “In the morning, you will fight against the sparring partners I have assigned to the three of you. In the afternoon, after lunch, all of you will team up to fight against Cranky at the same time.
“Your training here in the Valbarra Archipelago will only end after you pass the threshold I have set for all three of you.”
Thirteen had already planned everything before he asked the three teenagers to come with him to Solterra.
After they finished their training in the Valbarra Archipelago, he would throw them to the Temple of Courage and have them fight the Final Boss at the Colosseum.
That Final Boss would be none other than Zion’s Avatar, which the Temple had chosen to be its new Champion. Of course, Clark, Vincent, and Char had no idea about what was waiting for them after they finished their training with Cranky.
Thirteen was also quite curious about how his Avatar would fare against the trio, who were also the Prodigies of their respective families after they had increased their fighting prowess by a few levels. An hour later, Cranky finally let go of the teenage boy.
Thirteen used that opportunity to give a few more instructions before returning to Pangea.
When he returned to the Leventis Family, Shana, Diana, Derek, and Mildred were already there, waiting for him.
They were looking forward to the journey toward the Temple of Zaphiel, which was founded by a Celestial.
“Are you all ready?” Thirteen asked. “Yes,” Shana replied on behalf of the others. “We’re ready.”
The teenage boy then hugged his parents and siblings, telling them to be safe while he traveled in Solterra with the others.
He estimated that their journey would take them three to four months to complete if no variables appeared in their path.
Remi and Rhia hugged him the longest, feeling reluctant to separate from him for a few months.
Thirteen kissed his two sisters on the cheeks and promised that he would return as soon as he could.
Only then did the two let go, allowing Thirteen to take the lead to enter the Teleportation Gate, which would lead them to a city that didn’t belong to any of the Factions of Pangea.
Erica and Sherry followed right behind him.
Derek glanced at his friends before taking the initiative to walk toward the teleportation gate.
“Let’s go,” Mildred urged the others, even pushing Shana’s and Diana’s back so that they would enter the portal before her.
A few seconds later, they all appeared in the City of Bellaran, which was under the control of the Order of Raizel.
The Drow, Adira, was stationed in this city, which was one of the main reasons why Thirteen chose this place as the starting point in their journey.
