She had heard about Luke and Leysha from Noel, but fate was truly mysterious.

Luke nodded. "Yes."

Rose fell silent for a moment before nodding her head. "I apologize, but even though I know you are his father, I won’t be able to give you the authority."

Instead of feeling offended, Luke actually smiled. He was happy that Rose had become a very loyal person to his son.

This was the only correct way. If everything the son had could be transferred to his father, it meant the son would have nothing.

However, the fact that Rose remained loyal to Noel meant Noel was above him. In the end, Noel was the current leader of the Ardagan family, not Luke.
