Chapter 1619: Unexpected Reinforcements

The two ancient demons were rushing toward Leysha as the main force that Luke had been nurturing finally clashed with the demons.

Surprisingly, even though they had inferior physiques, the humans were actually equal to the demons.

These soldiers might even individually be stronger than the ones Noel cultivated.

With Raven taking on the commander position, the group moved in a much more complex way, using the strategy to become equal to the demon army.

Finally, it was time for them to release their trump card, which was given by Noel.

The equal clash rapidly turned into an overwhelming victory for the humans.

The battle was surprising, but the humans still had to overcome one last challenge. It was the challenge of absolute power.

The ancient demon released its power and shot it toward the human army.

"Get ready. Shield!" Raven shouted.

A man moved forward and slammed the shield in front. A huge barrier formed, and hundreds if not thousands of people were channeling their energy into this shield, reinforcing it further.

The shield ultimately blocked the attack from the ancient demon. It was amazing, but other demons were also attacking them. If they continued with this method, they would definitely drain their spiritual energy sooner.

Leysha knew this and thought about stopping the demons. Expecting such a movement, the other ancient demon came to intercept her.

Their intention was to bring her out so that they could gang up on her.

Leysha waved her hand as ice crystals emerged one after another, blasting everything in their path.

The demon simply stomped on the ground and shattered the ice into pieces.

Then, the other demon leaped toward her, covering its claw with an extraordinary amount of energy.

Leysha clicked her tongue. Although she had become a spirit transcendence, fighting two was impossible for her.

But if she retreated here, what would happen to her son? He was fighting three ancient demons and even two demon kings.

Leysha gathered her energy, ready to form an ice shield.

However, an old man suddenly leaped into the air and punched the ancient demon in the face, knocking it down.

"!!!" Leysha widened her eyes in shock, but the old man simply shouted, "What are you waiting for? Shoot it with that power!"

Leysha shook the question off her mind for a moment and shot the power she had gathered to block earlier.

The huge ice turned into a needle and pierced the ancient demon in the leg.

*Roar!* The ancient demon screamed in pain while trying to understand what was going on.

Leysha was also confused. She came here because she knew Noel had no more people to rely on.

This was their original plan. They wanted to save their strength until they could find the main army. They would then help Noel in that fight.

Yet, there was actually another spirit transcendence that came to help. Even they didn’t have this piece of knowledge.

But when he took another look at the old man, she realized there were some scales on his skin. Even though he resembled humans a lot, he wasn’t a human.

"What?" Leysha was shocked. Did Noel form an alliance with a demon? "Who are you?"

The old man smiled. "My name is Rudresia Glamont. Noel calls me Old Ru. I’m sure my appearance surprises you, but I’m not a demon. To put it simply, I am a manifestation of an experiment from a thousand years ago and have come to repay the debt to the Ardagan family for allowing people like us to survive."

"A thousand years ago?"

"The details can wait. All you need to know is that I’m not a demon and I’m your ally. My army is still moving toward here, but I’m sure they will arrive in one hour at most. Let me fight alongside you, Young Lady."

Leysha was dumbstruck. Noel was hiding a lot of things. No, he might not be hiding anything, but each secret was given to a different person.

In other words, as long as they didn’t hear it directly from him or that person, they wouldn’t be aware of this secret.

Nevertheless, the situation would change drastically with this situation.

Old Ru started releasing all his power. Even though he had used a huge amount of power to kill the demons that came to the Beast Kingdom as well as travel here, the amount of energy coming from his body was still stronger than even Leysha.

This much power even distracted the demon kings.

"What?" The Land Demon King widened his eyes. "There is someone this strong?"

Although there was no trace of king path, the amount of spiritual energy might be comparable to Noel’s.

"Come here, you demons. I will be your opponent." Old Ru directed his killing intent to the two ancient demons before adding, "Young lady, you might want to go to him and distract more ancient demons. Even one or two more shouldn’t be a problem for me. We have to do everything we can to allow him to focus only on the demon kings."

Leysha was a bit doubtful, but they really had no choice. If Noel had to pay attention to other things, they might lose.

So, Leysha nodded her head and passed the two ancient demons, planning to distract the remaining ancient demons.

Old Ru, on the other hand, smiled. "I have been waiting for this moment for 230 years. When you are this old, you have to use your time to do a lot of things, including maxing out your spiritual energy."
