Both the soldiers and the demons were stunned by the power of the airships.

’What is that? I have known that the airship can travel in the sky. I have even tried it twice. But I have never thought it’s capable of releasing this much power.’ The captain dropped his jaw to the ground. ’Is this truly an airship? Just one strike alone can decimate thousands of demons...’

When the captain raised his head, he noticed Noel’s lips were moving as if saying, ’This is not enough.’

’And you think this is not enough? Just a single attack decimated 5% of the enemy force, and you still think it’s not enough?’ The captain was speechless. Their lord was indeed too extraordinary.

If this were any other lord, they would have bragged about their achievements. Other nobles would have no choice but to lower their heads before him.

It was the superior demons’ turn to attack. Three of the seven superior demons charged their demonic energy in their mouths before releasing a powerful beam toward the ship.

Although the ships could withstand the power of these attacks, it would have been a waste of demon crystals.

All five captains leaped into the air.

Each of them unleashed their own attacks and neutralized the incoming beam. One of the captains had become a spirit grandmaster, so he handled one of them alone while the remaining spirit masters took care of the attack by pairing with the one closest to them.

The soldiers were fired up as they loaded the next volley of attacks. However, Noel actually shouted, "Wait. All ships get out of the way."

"!!!" The soldiers were confused. Their job was to protect Noel, so how could they break the formation? It was the same as exposing their supreme commander.

However, the five captains who had returned to their airships on their own immediately gave an order to follow Noel’s instructions. The ships turned left and right, opening up the path for Noel.

This also meant that the superior demons could also see the path to Noel. They didn’t waste any time in gathering their next attack in order to kill Noel.

"We can’t let them!"

"Charge our attack as well!"

"Stop those demons from attacking our lord!"

The soldiers were filling up more demon crystals for this rune as Noel activated the rune personally.

"Let’s test the power, shall we?" Noel smirked. "Fire our Executioner Rune!"

That was right. This rune was none other than the Advanced Rune, Executioner Rune. Because they could only turn mid level runes or lower into a weapon, Noel had no choice but to modify the battleship slightly to create a platform that could accommodate the huge and complex advanced rune.

In the past, he used the rune without enough power. The Executioner Rune created a massive pillar that almost killed everything it engulfed. Even the superior demons were injured severely.

This time, Noel could pour as much energy as he needed through the demon crystals. Instead of creating a pillar, he put it horizontally so that it would act like a beam fired from the battleship.

This would be the main cannon of their battleship. And it was time to truly test the power of the advanced level runes.

"Fire!"

The rune shone brightly as massive energy was concentrated in front of the runes. The moment they fired the rune, the massive energy flew like a beam and expanded drastically.

The demons shot out their attacks, but none of them possessed any power to withstand the power of the advanced level runes.

In just an instant, they engulfed all those attacks and hit the demons. This attack was similar to the poison beam in Noel’s first fight against the ancient demon spider.

It disintegrated the soil and trees it passed through. The demons tried their best to withstand that power, but their bodies ended up breaking into pieces. Countless demons, including one superior demon, died in a single attack. In fact, the beam also hit the second superior demon and destroyed the two right legs the demon had.

Even one of the captains would be enough to deliver a killing blow at this point.
