Chapter 94: 94:Everything is balanced

"The principal is inside. You may enter," the girl said as soon as they reached the heavy wooden door of the principal’s office. Without waiting another second, she turned on her heel and hurried away, eager to put distance between herself and Nova.

Nova pushed the door open and stepped inside calmly. A middle-aged man sat behind a polished desk, his glasses perched on the bridge of his nose. The moment Nova walked in, his eyes widened slightly, and he adjusted his glasses, a sleazy, predatory glint surfacing in his gaze. He licked his lower lip, taking in her stunning appearance with unabashed vulgarity.

"Eww, what a disgusting pervert," Anah commented in Nova’s mind.

Nova smirked, folding her arms across her chest. Her cold, unblinking gaze locked onto the man, unbothered by his scrutiny.

The principal cleared his throat, leaning back in his leather chair to project authority. "You were caught on security footage fighting near the school gates with a group of thugs," he said.

"So?" Nova’s expression turned utterly bored.

"According to school regulations, you should be expelled immediately," the principal stated smoothly. "However... considering the fact that you are such a rare beauty, I might be willing to make an exception for you." He patted his lap, a small, greasy chuckle escaping his lips. "Come and sit on my lap."

Nova frowned, a look of profound disgust washing over her features. "Are you blind? Did you miss the part where those thugs attacked us first?"

The sleek smile on the principal’s face vanished instantly. "Where are your manners? Watch your tongue, or I will have you expelled this very second," he threatened, his brow furrowing in annoyance. "What is wrong with this girl? Any other student would be terrified by now, begging on her knees."

Nova snorted softly. "Expel me? That’s assuming you even have the ability to do so," she replied, her tone dropping into a deadly register.

A sharp shudder ran down the principal’s spine. An inexplicable, suffocating pressure filled the room, radiating directly from Nova standing before him. "How can a student be this terrifying?" he thought, forcing himself to take a deep breath to hide his rising panic.

"Not only did you engage in a brawl, but you are also speaking so disrespectfully to your superior," he said, attempting to reclaim control with an authoritative bark. "If you know what’s good for you, get down on your knees right now and apologize!"

Nova chuckled softly—a sound entirely devoid of warmth. "You really don’t see your own life flashing before your eyes, do you? That’s why you dare to act so arrogant in front of me. Allow me to return your words, you must be truly tired of holding onto this principal position of yours."

The principal stiffened. "Is she from some influential background? Damn it, I was so captivated by her face that I didn’t run a proper background check. But looking at her, she doesn’t carry herself like the wealthy heiress here. She must be bluffing."

He cleared his throat again, forcing a lenient smile onto his face. "Fine. You are young and too beautiful, it’s natural to have a little pride. Let’s forget the threat of expulsion. Come over here and massage my waist for me."

Nova let out a cold laugh. "I’d rather break it," she replied, her dark eyes flashing with lethal intent. "I always wonder why corrupt creatures like you get to breathe for so long. Tell me, with your pathetic threats of expulsion, how many young lives have you ruined?"

She took a deliberate step forward. The temperature in the room plummeted instantly.

The principal flinched, pressing his back hard against his chair, trapped between his desk and the wall. "Stay... stay back!" he stammered, cold sweat breaking out across his forehead.

Nova casually reached out, picking up a heavy metallic pen from the desk. She twirled it between her fingers, a sinister, terrifying smile spreading across her face. "I just realized why you summoned me here. The sweet reality is... you called me here so I could kill you."

Beads of cold sweat rolled down the principal’s face as his heart hammered wildly against his ribs. "How did things escalate to this?!" He thought "Don’t... don’t do anything reckless!" he stuttered in panic.

Nova paused, tapping the pen against her chin thoughtfully. "Hmm... no. My husband is still studying at this school. Let’s handle this according to the law this time."

Before the principal could even process her words, Nova’s fist snapped forward with terrifying speed, driving a brutal punch directly into his left eye.

Crack!

"AAAAGH!"

The principal shrieked in agony, clutching his face as warm blood gushed through his fingers. The blow was so violent it instantly destroyed his eyeball, blinding him permanently on that side.

Nova smiled in satisfaction, casually setting the pen back down on the desk. "Now, go to the school’s broadcasting room and make a public announcement detailing every single crime you have ever committed," she commanded, her voice laced with an undeniable, absolute compulsion.

Though every fiber of the principal’s mind screamed to resist, his body was no longer under his control. Driven by an irresistible force, he stumbled to his feet, clutching his bloody, mangled eye, and walked out of his office like a mindless puppet, heading straight for the broadcasting center.

Nova’s dark smile lingered as she looked down at her knuckles, gently blowing on them.

"I have seen my fair share of fools, but this principal takes the cake," Anah remarked, floating beside her. "Even after witnessing how easily you handled those men at the gate, he still threw himself into the fire."

Nova’s smile turned razor-sharp. "His lower half took over his eyes, and his brain is stuck under his feet. Since his eyes were so useless anyway, I simply made one permanently non-functional. Everything is balanced."

She turned on her heel and stepped out of the office, casually strolling back to her classroom.

Not long after Nova returned to her seat and rested her head on the desk, the school’s public address system crackled to life. The principal’s trembling, blood-curdling voice echoed through every hallway, classroom, and courtyard.

"Attention, everyone... Listen to me! I... I am the principal of this academy. For years, I have used the threat of expulsion to coerce female students into my bed and force them into sexual acts... Many young lives were ruined, and several students committed suicide because of my actions... Today, I declare myself guilty of all charges, and I ask for no one’s forgiveness!"

The entire academy erupted into pure chaos. Outraged screams and gasps shattered the quiet morning as hundreds of furious students flooded out of their classrooms, converging toward the broadcasting building with murderous intent.

Nova remained slumped over her desk, entirely unbothered by the uproar outside.

Inside the broadcasting booth, the invisible hold over the principal’s body abruptly snapped. Consciousness flooded back into his mind, and he clamped both hands over his mouth in horror.

"It’s over... everything is ruined! I can’t go to prison! I won’t survive in prison!"

Panicking as the thundering footsteps of an enraged mob echoed up the stairwell, the principal bolted out of the room. Driven by terror, he sprinted straight toward the top floor hallway and hurled himself over the high balcony railing.

A loud crash rang out below, ending his life instantly.

News of his death spread like wildfire, but not a single soul mourned him. In the quiet classroom, Nova rested her head against her folded arms, listening to the chaotic shouts, cheers, and curses echoing across the courtyard.

"Good," she murmured softly, a gentle, serene smile gracing her lips. "Things never end well for those who dare provoke me."
