Anah nodded. "Just that, for the second mission. And as for your reward, you’ll receive it after the completion of the mission," she said.

Nova was about to speak when the door began to open.

Anah disappeared in the blink of an eye before the door swung wide, leaving Nova staring at the empty space.

Alan walked in, dressed in his newly bought uniform, looking sharply put together and entirely ready. Seeing Nova, a warm smile spread across his lips immediately.

"Snow!" he called, rushing over to shower her with kisses.

Nova laughed. "Looking extra happy, can I know the secret?" she asked, a beautiful smile gracing her face.

"You will resume school with me today! I’m extremely happy," Alan commented, giggling nonstop.

Nova raised an eyebrow. "Right, I almost forgot about that. Cassian has arranged it?" she asked.

Alan nodded. "But Snow, he bullied me while you were not home. Cassian and Raymond made me clean the whole house alone," he reported, pouting deeply.

Nova laughed, gently caressing his hair. "How could they do that to my darling? Don’t worry, I will definitely avenge you," she said.

A satisfied smile appeared on Alan’s lips as he rested his head against Nova’s chest. "I know Snow will get justice for me. You are the best," he said.

"Darling, I need a hug!" Cassian’s voice echoed from the entrance.

Seeing Alan already holding Nova tightly, a flash of territorial jealousy crossed Cassian’s eyes. The atmosphere in the room instantly shifted, growing heavy with unspoken rivalry. He frowned slightly, walking forward to sit right beside her and deliberately resting his head on her other shoulder.

"Hug me, darling, my heart is aching terribly," he said, wiping imaginary tears as he looked up at her pitifully.

"What happened? Huh? Tell me," Nova asked, playing along with his drama, gently patting his head to console him.

"Darling!" Cassian shouted, crying even more dramatically. "My darling! Darling!" he continued shouting.

Nova couldn’t control her laughter, realizing he just wanted her attention all to himself.

Alan stared at Cassian with a stunned expression. "Can this guy be any less shameless?" he thought, his jaw tightening as he wrapped his arms even more firmly around Nova’s waist, refusing to yield an inch.

"Snow!" Alan suddenly shouted, following Cassian’s lead to fiercely reclaim his ground.

"Darling!"

"Snow!"

"My Darling!"

"My Snow!"

The air in the room instantly crackled with their fierce, possessive rivalry. Invisible daggers were flying back and forth between Cassian and Alan over Nova’s head.

The weight of their competitive devotion made the large bedroom feel incredibly small and highly charged. Nova felt helplessly caught in the crossfire, simply watching the two relentlessly compete for dominance.

"Damn it! Lower your voices and let peace reign! Cassian, I believe you are older than Alan. Why are you acting childish now?" Raymond’s annoyed voice echoed through the room, cutting through the heavy atmosphere.

He was dressed in a crisp white shirt and black pants, with a black-colored apron tied snugly around his waist. He glared at Cassian and Alan with a dead-serious gaze. Seeing them fall quiet and stare back at him, the intense tension seemed to pause—until Raymond walked in, suddenly dropped to the floor, and shamelessly wrapped his arms around Nova’s leg.

"Wifey, I burned my hand while cooking! It’s so painful, ah-ha!" he fake-cried, looking up at Nova with wide, wounded eyes.

"Hey, don’t be shameless, Raymond! Which hand did you burn? I bet you are just here to seek my darling’s attention!" Cassian snapped, rolling his eyes hard.

"Why are you here?" Raymond snapped back, staring daggers at Cassian.

"Hmph, of course I’m here for my wife’s attention," Cassian replied proudly, puffing out his chest.

"Shameless!" Raymond hissed, instantly dropping his fierce glare to stare back up at Nova. "Wifey, it hurts," he said, fixing her with the most pitiful gaze he could muster.

"Darling, my head hurts!" Cassian continued his fake crying, refusing to be outdone.

Raymond’s eyes narrowed dangerously, and then he burst into an even louder fake cry. "Wifey, my hand hurts!" he shouted.

"These two..." Alan gritted his teeth, the competitive fire roaring back to life as he threw himself back into the fray. "Snow, I was bullied!"

The room was now practically vibrating with their chaotic, territorial energy. Three incredibly powerful, deadly men had devolved into a mess of whining, jealous children, and the emotional tug-of-war was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Each was absolutely determined not to lose a single fraction of her love to the others.

Nova sighed, staring down at the dramatic trio. "Can you guys free me first? I need to bathe and get ready for school," she said, her beautiful, warm smile never fading despite the overwhelming siege.

"Right... today is your first day. I have cooked your favorites, Wifey. I’ve packed your lunch box as well, everything is set," Raymond commented, staring at Nova with a deeply proud expression on his face, momentarily victorious.

"Snow, I have arranged your clothes. Your outfit is set as well," Alan chimed in, staring at Nova with a completely lovestruck gaze in his eyes.

"I have arranged your car, and I bought our new house near your school so we can relocate there. I have arranged your driver as well," Cassian commented quickly, wearing a desperate look of ’I can’t be left out.’

Nova chuckled warmly. "You all did great," she praised, leaning down to press a gentle, chaste kiss against each of their lips. "I’m very satisfied," she added.

The fierce tension completely shattered, instantly replaced by bashful devotion. The dangerous trio blushed vividly in unison.

Raymond stood up abruptly. "I... I will go and prepare your snacks first," he stammered, and fled the room immediately.

"I will take another check at the car. Your safety matters the most," Cassian commented, a bit breathlessly, and immediately rushed off.

Alan stared blankly at the entrance where the other two had vanished, his heart racing because the kiss. "I... I-I will bathe you!" he suddenly blurted out, stepping forward, ready to carry Nova, but he was immediately stopped by her hand.

"Better to just bring the clothes you arranged for me here," she said.

"Oh... yes. I can do that too," Alan replied dazedly, and immediately walked out.

Nova chuckled softly and stood up, heading into the bathroom to take her shower.

...

A short while later, Nova exit the bathroom and was dressed in her uniform, a short, neatly pleated skirt and a matching tailored blouse, paired with white socks and sleek black boots. She styled her hair into a high, sharp ponytail and then slid on her glasses.

She looked exactly like a high school girl—breathtakingly beautiful, yet quietly terrifying.

Nova opened the bedroom door and stepped out. Walking down the grand stairs, she found Raymond, Cassian, and Alan gathered around the dining table, meticulously arranging her snacks.

"I’m done," she announced, walking closer to them with a warm, captivating smile on her lips.

The trio turned around, staring at Nova, and all three of their eyes widened in complete awe.

"Wifey, why do you look even more tempting in a school uniform?" Raymond stated thickly, the atmosphere instantly spiking with a completely different, heated kind of tension. Cassian and Alan nodded in silent, completely mesmerized agreement.

Nova chuckled and took her seat at the table. "Can’t help it, my beauty is unmatched," she replied, looking gorgeously arrogant and deeply confident.

Cassian let out a low chuckle and walked up behind Nova. He wrapped his strong arms around her shoulders, pressing a lingering, possessive kiss against her cheek. "Yes, my wife’s beauty is unmatched, and I’m lucky you’re mine," he said.

"She’s mine too!" Alan and Raymond snapped in perfect unison, instantly sending furious, dagger-like glares right at Cassian. The suffocating, jealous tension immediately flooded back into the room, thick enough to choke on.

Cassian merely cast them a highly provocative, mocking smirk, completely ignoring their silent threats as he continued happily showering Nova’s cheek with soft kisses.

Unbothered by the heavy, competitive war waging over her head, Nova simply chuckled and started eating her snacks.
