Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s
Chapter 2832 - 2825: Pig-Headed
"Whether it’s a blessing or a curse, who cares! As long as Yan-ge likes her, chase after her! I support it! Both hands and feet up in agreement!" Zhang Ming sat behind, craning his neck forward, grinning.
Du Xiang shook his head helplessly.
After Chi Yan finished explaining the series in one go, he looked up and asked He Yue, "Did you understand?"
He Yue stared at him blankly and shook her head, "Nope!"
"I... I explained it so clearly, and you still say you didn’t understand?" Chi Yan widened his eyes in disbelief, "Is your brain made of wood?"
"Yours is the one made of wood." He Yue already didn’t have a great impression of Chi Yan, and hearing him speak this way made her opinion of him even worse, "Do you call that explaining a question? You’re just reciting answers!"
"Didn’t I explain it step by step clearly? If you don’t believe me, ask the others if they all understood?" Chi Yan glanced at the other two people, each wearing a bemused expression, which suddenly gave him a headache, "Alright, I’ll explain it once more!"
Chi Yan has a clever mind, and he skipped parts he deemed unnecessary, but it was precisely those parts that He Yue couldn’t understand.
But seeing how seriously he was explaining, He Yue didn’t have the heart to interrupt him, so she patiently listened to the rest.
"Do you get it now?" Chi Yan finally finished explaining again. Given that he’s usually too lazy to say another word, being willing to explain the topic was already a big deal.
"Nope!" He Yue, being quite disrespectful, said she still didn’t understand.
Chi Yan, lacking patience, became furious after explaining twice and still seeing He Yue not understand, "You must have a pig’s brain! I really want to crack it open and see if your skull is filled with mush!"
He Yue was angered by his insult, her face turning pale and then red.
She bit her lower lip, glared hard at Chi Yan, grabbed her book, and turned away, realizing asking him to explain was a mistake.
"Hey!! You don’t like being called dumb, do you?" Chi Yan, with his short temper, liked women whose grades might not be great, but their brains weren’t dumb.
"Um... Chi... Chi classmate... No one likes being called dumb!" He Yue’s deskmate said weakly.
"None of your business! Turn back around!" Chi Yan shouted, and the female classmate obediently shut up and turned back.
Originally a good study session, it was ruined by Chi Yan’s shouting.
He Yue buried her head in her book.
Chi Yan sat alone with a pencil in his mouth, crossing his legs and staring at her back, feeling annoyed.
As the class was nearing its end, the bell rang, and the students went to the restroom. He Yue had been stuck on this problem for too long and had lost her train of thought.
She was not looking for the answer; she wanted clues on how to solve such problems.
Feeling really frustrated, she got up to get some air.
Meanwhile, students who stayed in the classroom were all commenting on how difficult the problem was to solve, even the good students felt at a loss.
Chi Yan finally realized it might be too hard for He Yue.
Recalling his previous bad attitude, he quickly reined in his casual demeanor and took out a clean A4 paper, seriously solving the problem.
Later, he placed the solved problem on He Yue’s desk.
When He Yue returned, she sat down and saw the A4 paper densely filled with the solved answer.
