Chapter 2747 - 2740: Arranging the Room

"Auntie, where should I go to wash the dishes?" This was the first time He Yue came to An Hao’s new home, and he wasn’t familiar with the surroundings. He didn’t know where the kitchen was.

"You don’t need to do anything like that. Just put down the dishes and come with me!" An Hao took the dishes from He Yue’s hands and placed them on the dining table, leading her upstairs.

"Auntie... Are we going to..."

"You must be tired, right? I’ll prepare a room for you so you can rest!" An Hao said with a smile, "Yueyue, when you’re here, treat this place like your own home, don’t feel restrained, alright?"

"Okay. Sure!" To be honest, He Yue was indeed very tired. Struggling amidst the ruins for three days, she was already physically and mentally exhausted.

If it weren’t for her parents sacrificing themselves, urging her to survive, she might not have been able to hold on.

Her life was exchanged by her parents for theirs, she couldn’t afford not to cherish it. She gritted her teeth and persisted painfully for three days.

The space upstairs was almost as large as the downstairs.

Upon reaching the top floor, the first thing visible was a huge living room, along with three bedrooms and a shared bathroom.

An Hao led Yueyue and opened one of the rooms, which turned out to be a study. Against the walls were two bookshelves, and by the window stood two desks, one of which had several gun models on it.

"This room belongs to Chenyang and Chenguang. The desk with the gun models belongs to Chenyang. This child has been fascinated by guns since young, and eventually joined the army!" An Hao smiled as she introduced the desks, "Now that Chenyang is in the army, this desk won’t be used anymore. I’ll tidy up the study today, add a bed, move Chenguang’s desk out, and you can stay here!"

"Thank you, Auntie." He Yue thanked An Hao politely and graciously.

An Hao raised her hand to stroke her shiny black hair, lovingly saying, "It’s no trouble. As long as you’re happy living here, that’s all that matters."

"Happy. I’m really happy to live with you all." He Yue squeezed out a smile.

"Good girl. Don’t force yourself, I know it’s hard for you to smile. I hope your pain will fade with time."

Preparing the room wasn’t an easy task; with only the two women in the house, they couldn’t move the bed from the basement.

An Hao called the security team in the compound, asking them to send two people over to help out.

Seeing He Yue was already very tired, she let her rest first: "The rooms on either side of the study are your little brother’s and Chenyang’s. Feel free to rest in any of their rooms for now. Once everything is prepared, you can come back here to rest."

He Yue naturally followed An Hao’s arrangements.

She casually pushed open a room, noting the décor and setup seemed like Ning Chenyang’s room. She thought for a moment, then turned and entered another room.

This was Ning Chenguang’s room.

Even though He Yue was very tired, she wasn’t in a hurry to rest. After not seeing her little brother for so many years, she wanted to take a good look at his living environment, to understand what kind of life he has been living all these years.

She wandered around the room, touching and taking a look at everything.
