Surviving the Infinite Survival Game by Exploiting Glitches
Chapter 116: Falling into the Jin River
Xu Chi and his group, who were behind them, were dumbfounded when they saw this scene.
Good heavens, where did the cat and tiger come from?
Could such a huge cat and a tiger really make a good pair? That didn’t seem right.
But the facts were right in front of them, leaving them no choice but to believe it.
However, it wasn’t surprising that there were such enormous cats and tigers. After all, a zombie virus had appeared in this B World, so it wasn’t strange for tigers and cats to mutate.
After all, even the rats in the sewers had mutated...
They quickly snapped out of their daze and resumed dealing with the Level 3 zombies.
To be honest, these Level 3 zombies were really troublesome. At the same time, they also had to be careful that their weapons didn’t suddenly go off course and blow up their own people.
Lin Yun and her group also began fighting.
Because of Ghost Vine, its vines had sprouted and spread across the surrounding area, covering everything in a layer of green and allowing Lin Yun to dodge Wu Yatu’s attacks at any time.
Even if Wu Yatu damaged the vines, it didn’t matter. The vines would grow back on their own and fill in the damaged areas.
Lin Yun then took out her crossbow and began firing cactus spines at Wu Yatu every now and then.
Lin Yun had brought back a lot of good things from the world of mutated plants and animals, which she had piled up in her backpack and basement. She had gone through all of them over the past two days in preparation for dealing with Wu Yatu.
She had coated the cactus spines with a specially formulated enhanced corrosive agent.
Now, it was time to see whether it would work on Wu Yatu.
If it didn’t work, then Xu Chi would have to blow up Jinhe Bridge.
However, while Wu Yatu was dodging the attacks from the other three, she was also keeping an eye on Lin Yun. Several of the cactus spines Lin Yun fired were dodged.
When Sang Biao saw this, he realized that it wouldn’t do.
He quickly joined forces with the other two to drive the zombies toward the middle of the bridge.
Wu Yatu was already in a sorry state.
All four of them were focused on attacking her, and it was already a miracle that she could dodge their attacks. She didn’t have time to think about anything else.
"Let’s make a deal."
"You’re so powerful. Wouldn’t it be better if you ruled Z City with me? If they die, all those supplies will be yours alone."
Wu Yatu found a vehicle to use as cover and suddenly shouted.
It had realized that it wasn’t the Zombie King yet, and continuing to fight like this would only lead to its death.
After all, Yu Qian had also said that they had tampered with the bridge and wanted to kill it.
The other side must have some other tricks up its sleeve.
Wu Yatu knew from when it was still human that humans would never allow alien creatures like zombies to exist.
"Get lost! I’m human, and you’re a zombie. There’s nothing more to say. You want to rule Z City? I’ll slap you twice, and you’ll behave."
Lin Yun rolled her eyes again, gave Ghost Vine a wink, and Sang Biao and Tuan Tuan also withdrew.
The vines that Ghost Vine had previously forced to grow wildly across the bridge came in handy at this moment.
They wrapped around the bridge surface near Wu Yatu, while the vines hidden in the shadows also began moving.
Wu Yatu stared cautiously at the vines, sensing that something was wrong.
However, before it could think any further, Xu Chi detonated the explosives that had been planted to blow up the bridge.
Xu Chi saw Lin Yun give him another hand signal.
As soon as the explosion sounded, the vines moved, rushing toward Wu Yatu and tightly binding her, preventing her from escaping.
After becoming a Level 4 zombie, Wu Yatu had become incredibly strong.
No matter how many vines she broke through, the surrounding vines would always wrap around her again, like an unkillable cockroach that refused to let her go.
Sang Biao and Tuan Tuan quickly returned to their shrunken forms and disappeared.
Lin Yun quickly retreated to a safe position, then raised her hand and fired several cactus spines coated with medicine at the struggling Wu Yatu.
Two of the cactus spines struck Wu Yatu in the shoulder and chest.
Wu Yatu couldn’t feel the vines. She only knew that something had hit her.
She frowned and immediately reached out to pull them off.
The corrosive agent took effect as soon as it penetrated her body.
The Jinhe Bridge also collapsed because of the explosives.
Xu Chi led his men over and stood by, staring intently at the broken section of the bridge, afraid that Wu Yatu would escape.
While still searching for the right place and looking for the people he had been trying to find, Song Xizheng heard the explosion.
He immediately determined its direction and rushed over.
Just as he arrived near Jinhe Bridge, he heard another explosion.
He leaned closer and asked, "Wow, what are you guys doing?"
But no one paid him any attention at the moment. Everyone was focused on Wu Yatu’s movements in the smoke.
It had to be said that when faced with the fear of death, people could unleash infinite possibilities.
Wu Yatu was holding onto several drooping vines.
She glanced at the Jin River below and immediately understood their intentions.
They were afraid they wouldn’t be able to kill her, so they wanted the Jin River to carry her away and sweep her into the sea.
Oh.
When Wu Yatu looked up again, her pupils suddenly contracted.
At this moment, Lin Yun was holding a Crimson Feather Hand Crossbow equipped with Sky Arrow Fletching, aiming it directly at Wu Yatu.
Lin Yun herself stared coldly at her.
As Wu Yatu looked at her, she suddenly smiled.
"The deal I just offered is still valid. You’re welcome to change your mind at any time."
"Not only Z City, but also the neighboring H City has plenty of supplies. There are enough supplies there for you to live on for a lifetime. How about it? Want to cooperate?"
As she spoke, Wu Yatu activated her skill.
It was trying to bewitch Lin Yun.
But what answered it was a rocket from the sky.
Lin Yun wasn’t a complete fool. Leaving Wu Yatu alive would be a disaster.
From the moment Xu Chi and his group had planned to blow up the bridge and kill Wu Yatu, she had already decided to use the Sky Rocket Feather to kill her.
It was just a pity that she only had a few Heavenly Rocket Feathers, and every one she used meant one less!
Wu Yatu was startled, not expecting her bewitching ability to be ineffective against Lin Yun again.
Just as the rocket was about to hit her, she quickly released the vines and let herself fall.
From the moment Lin Yun had aimed the crossbow at her again, Wu Yatu had sensed the threat posed by it.
She had a premonition that if she were actually hit, she would truly die instantly!
But if she fell into the Jin River and was swept away by the current, she might still survive.
To her surprise, it was already too late.
Even after releasing the vines, the rocket feather still struck her in the neck.
In just a few seconds, Wu Yatu fell into the Jin River.
Lin Yun breathed a sigh of relief after seeing the Heavenly Rocket Feather hit Wu Yatu and hearing the mission-completion notification.
Good riddance. Good riddance.
I’ll hurry home and practice my skills.
Xu Chi, who was standing nearby, also breathed a sigh of relief.
He had finally completed the mission.
Having such a threat around was really a source of worry.
"That..."
Chen Aiguo suddenly spoke up.
He had just noticed Oni-ten, who had run over to watch the show.
Ghost Vine hadn’t shrunk yet. It was currently waving its vines and squeezing in with the others, watching what had just happened.

I’ve been thinking of a little way to make our daily updates more fun!
Starting this week, if we can reach 500 Power Stones by the end of the week, I’ll add one extra Chapter to the daily updates for the following week.
There’s no pressure at all, though. Power Stones are completely optional, and every bit of support—whether it’s a Stone, a Golden Ticket, a comment, a collection, or simply reading the story—is genuinely appreciated.
Let’s see how far we can go together. ❤️
