Supremely Talented Tyrant
Chapter 2225 - 2426: People These Days!!!
Hao Jian was almost forcefully dragged away by Liang Xiaohan, and soon they left the crowd and ended up walking into some alley.
"Hold this!" Liang Xiaohan handed the camera to Hao Jian, "Take some pictures of me. If they're not good, watch how I deal with you!"
Liang Xiaohan spoke with no courtesy at all, treating Hao Jian like a slave. As soon as Hao Jian received the camera, he obediently fiddled with it. To be honest, he had never learned photography before, but if he set his mind to it, he probably wouldn't need much time to pick it up.
Seeing that Hao Jian seemed clueless beyond pressing the shutter, Liang Xiaohan walked over, looked at him with disdain, and then explained the functions and effects of each button on the camera, along with some basic photography methods, how to take stills, and how to shoot portraits, how to capture beautiful pictures of girls… and so on. Liang Xiaohan spent about ten minutes explaining it all in detail.
For anyone else, this might have been a daunting task, but for Hao Jian, it was quite easy. He easily remembered everything Liang Xiaohan said and started to operate the camera step by step.
The camera appeared to be quite expensive, and although he didn't understand it, Hao Jian guessed it was probably close to ten thousand. It seemed only someone like Liang Xiaohan, a rich kid, could easily spend such an amount on a camera just to take pictures of herself. Hao Jian clicked his tongue twice.
"Have you got it?" Liang Xiaohan asked Hao Jian.
Hao Jian tried taking another picture of the eaves, nodded at the satisfactory result, and said, "Yeah, got it."
Seeing Hao Jian learn so quickly made Liang Xiaohan quite happy, so she said, "Alright then, let's go for a walk in the Ancient Town now, and you can take some nice photos of me."
Hao Jian nodded, saying no problem. Then Liang Xiaohan walked ahead while he followed behind, and they strolled around the Ancient Town together.
The Ancient Town wasn't very big, but not that small either. It wasn't possible to walk through it all at once, after all, it was a town with quite a sizable area, and an ancient one at that. It was said that this Ancient Town was an economic and cultural hub in the past, where residents from miles around would flock here on the 2nd, 5th, and 8th of every month to attend the market, either to sell goods or for families to buy necessities, creating a bustling scene.
In the past, it was quite lively here, especially on market days, 2nd, 5th, and 8th, it was exceptionally busy. However, on regular days, the Ancient Town retained its own tranquility, returning to its usual peaceful days.
Yet, as time passed, with historical progress and social development, its former glory slowly faded, leaving only peace and solitude. Because it was tucked away in a corner and sparsely populated, with rapid urban development, many chose to relocate to the city. Even the young ones who didn't move opted to work outside, or in cities, and the Ancient Town became more desolate.
However, slowly its scenery was discovered, transforming it into a tourist spot, attracting more visitors for its peace and serenity, hence more and more tourists came. Locals spotted this business opportunity, attracting guests while developing tourism projects, gradually reaching its current scale.
Now the best part is it became a tourist site, but its scenery and peace were preserved, attracting a large number of tourists to visit.
Hao Jian and Liang Xiaohan walked, stopping and looking around in the Ancient Town. Although it was the weekend, it was not a long holiday, so it wasn't crowded, and taking photos didn't require waiting in line. They could shoot whatever they wanted. Liang Xiaohan chose spots and posed, while Hao Jian selected the best spot and angle, then snapped the shots.
After taking a picture, Liang Xiaohan rushed over to see how it turned out. Upon seeing the first photo, she was pleasantly surprised. She initially thought a beginner like Hao Jian would take mediocre photos, but the first picture surprised her.
She patted Hao Jian on the shoulder, praising, "Not bad, to take such a nice picture on your first try, and capture me so beautifully, your skills are impressive."
Hao Jian rarely showed humility, saying, "It's nothing, it's because you're good-looking, so skills aside, you'd look great in any shot."
Liang Xiaohan was seldomly praised by Hao Jian. Typically, when a girl is complimented, she's happy and shyly denies it. However, when looking at Hao Jian, she thought differently, feeling surprised that he could give compliments. It was already good enough if he didn't tease her.
She walked up to touch Hao Jian's forehead, saying with surprise, "Are you running a fever?"
Hao Jian pushed her hand away, puzzled, saying, "Are you sick? I'm just telling the truth, and you're calling me sick, maybe it's you who's sick."
"Pfft!" Liang Xiaohan couldn't help but laugh uncontrollably seeing Hao Jian like this.
"Alright, alright!" She grabbed Hao Jian's hand, "I misunderstood you, okay? You take nice pictures, I look nice, come, take more for me."
With that, Liang Xiaohan dragged Hao Jian forward, and only then did his expression lighten up. However, soon his face began to stiffen. He realized how obsessed girls can be with taking photos, thinking they'd take just a few casually, but then he understood.
When a girl wants to take pictures, she can worry over one pose for ages, wanting many retakes if unsatisfied, and pose in multiple ways at a spot, taking numerous pictures until satisfied. What was supposed to be scenery viewing turned into moving from spot to spot taking photos, and leaving after capturing shots, then moving to the next place to continue.
In this cycle, Hao Jian felt he was going crazy, but there was no choice, as Liang Xiaohan grew more energetic with each photo, eventually taking over a hundred shots. Hao Jian felt his waist and back aching, yet Liang Xiaohan was still full of energy.
Finally, he gave up and found a stone to sit on, saying to Liang Xiaohan, "Let's take a break."
Liang Xiaohan, still unsatiated, said, "Are you exhausted already? After a short while, you're already tired, so weak!"
At the mention of being weak, Hao Jian instantly stood up, about to retort but paused to smile, and sat back down. He realized Liang Xiaohan was exploiting his weakness, as a man couldn't admit to being weak, and she was using reverse psychology to taunt him. Realizing this, he chuckled.
"Am I weak? If you don't know, your cousin surely does, why don't you ask her?" Hao Jian replied with a shameless smirk.
Liang Xiaohan instantly blushed. It wasn't just about Hao Jian's cheeky remark but remembering that afternoon, pushing open the door and seeing the scene of Hao Jian and her cousin together, she couldn't help blushing.
"You…" She suddenly didn't know what to say.
Seeing her reaction, Hao Jian laughed, genuinely happy. Though he lacked energy earlier, he suddenly felt invigorated again. He said, "Sit and rest for a while. You might not be tired, but I am, and the camera needs a break too, it's getting too hot from all the pictures."
Upon hearing that, Liang Xiaohan reluctantly sat down as well. As they sat, intending to speak, something captured their attention. Both showing tired expressions previously now had their eyes filled with excitement and spark.
"When did those two get together?" Liang Xiaohan asked Hao Jian.
Ever since witnessing them, Hao Jian's gaze hadn't left the couple, replying, "Asking me? How would I know?"
Liang Xiaohan punched Hao Jian, saying, "Can't you speak a little nicer, talking to me like that?"
Hao Jian couldn't be bothered to respond, keeping his eyes on the two nearby.
The two of them almost simultaneously saw this scene: two classmates, a boy, and a girl, silently became a couple, hugging and kissing passionately when no one was around, leaning against the wall.
No one else saw, but the two caught sight of it.
As they spoke, the couple engaged in a heated kiss, captivating Hao Jian's attention. Witnessing such a display of passion between a man and a woman couldn't be missed.
Hao Jian felt himself reacting from watching.
Honestly, he had no idea when the couple started dating, as he generally ignored classroom scuttlebutt. But if these two snuck around to be intimate here, what about the ordinary couples, what could they be doing…
He dared not think any further.
"These people!" Hao Jian exclaimed helplessly.
As a student, he'd never experienced such excitement, realizing students these days had far fewer restrictions.
