Supreme Sword Exalt
Chapter 527 - Ah Gou
In the distance, Gu Han, drenched in blood, froze for a moment. Did Master Rooster just come up with a new move?
Before he could get a closer look, the oppressive aura from the six men once again bore down upon him. At the same time, the two he had severely wounded earlier also seized the opportunity to strike, refusing to give him even a moment’s respite.
Their cultivation wasn’t actually that high. All of them were of the most ordinary Saint realm caliber, with the strongest only at the third stage. However, under their combined assault, that aura almost seemed to brush against the threshold of the Feather Transformation realm.
Had Gu Han been in perfect condition, he could have easily cut down all six in one slash. With his strength at only thirty percent of its peak, the six men cornered him into one perilous situation after another, leaving him with scarcely any opportunity to strike back. Anyone else would have long since collapsed. It was only thanks to his ability to keep calm that he managed to hold on this long.
He cast a glance into the distance. Under the drifting pink mist, the five-colored divine dragon was bound tightly, barely able to break free at all. The pink mist was also dissolving rapidly. Although Chongming was still weak, now that he had completely broken through his defenses and unleashed a new technique, he had actually managed to hold his own against his opponent for the time being.
Gu Han’s thoughts turned, and he had a plan. He had no idea how much longer Chongming could last, and his own injuries had yet to heal. Trapped under constant siege, escaping would be exceedingly difficult. The only way was to kill the Hehuan Sect Master!
With that thought, his remaining cultivation erupted into chaos. Wounds split open across him one after another, dying his robe completely red. Paired with the Kill Sword, his voice was filled with chilling murderous intent, making him appear like a god of slaughter. “Kill!”
His voice also jolted Chen Qing and the others back to their senses.
Upon seeing Gu Han drenched in blood, Chen Qing trembled in fear and cried out on the spot, “Senior!”
Gu Han raised his sword and charged straight at the six men. “Flee and save yourselves!”
Seeing such a perfect opportunity, the others dared not linger and scattered in all directions. Only Chen Qing hesitated for a moment. Gritting his teeth, he bowed toward Gu Han before departing with his three thoroughly terrified disciples.
However, his heart felt hollow. Though he was weak and lacking in judgment, he could still tell that Gu Han was locked in a desperate battle. The man could barely save himself, and yet he had still told Chen Qing to flee.
The Tiannan Realm was too chaotic. He had walked the path of cultivation for over four hundred years. In his memory, apart from his parents in his childhood, no one had ever cared about him. He felt that following Gu Han would be worthwhile even if he gained nothing in return.
He glanced back and sighed softly. “Senior, you must come out of this safely.”
Gu Han set aside his sentiments, allowing his killing intent to surge to its peak. A red sword aura that was about a zhang in length shot toward the foremost of the six men. Wherever it passed, space itself seemed on the verge of shattering.
One of the pink-robed men closest to him shrank back, his scalp tingling. “Quick! Help me!”
No sooner had the words left his mouth, the sword aura had arrived. It expanded to several dozen zhang in size and swept through him in a flash. A bloody line appeared down the center of his body, splitting his flesh and divine soul in two.
The sword aura's momentum diminished slightly, yet it continued descending upon the remaining five. In response, they quickly adjusted their formation, successfully blocking it. Although they hadn’t died, a flaw had appeared in their encirclement, and Gu Han had been waiting for this moment.
In his mind, the tender sprout of Mortal World Intent trembled slightly, transforming into specks of starlight that drifted out and merged into his sword. The sword let out a soft hum, revealing its tattered, pitch-black blade. Its killing intent and sharpness dissipated, leaving it utterly ordinary.
“Go!”
The black sword shot through the air, descending upon the Hehuan Sect Master.
Just then, Chongming's divine light flickered unsteadily, and even the five-colored divine dragon's form began to waver. Clearly, he couldn’t maintain this state much longer.
The Hehuan Sect Master drew a deep breath, not even sparing a glance at Gu Han in the distance. All her attention was fixed on Chongming. At the thought of the unparalleled experience that awaited her after capturing him, desire filled her eyes.
The gaze deeply unnerved Chongming. For the first time ever, he had goosebumps all over. His divine light grew fainter, and the perverse woman broke through instantly, arriving before him.
Chongming grimaced with disgust. “You stink so much!"
Paying no heed to his thoughts, the Hehuan Sect Master reached out to grab him. Her breathing quickened and her face grew ever redder. “You must be delicious.”
Chongming cursed out loud, “Fuck off!!!”
At the same time, a battered, unremarkable black sword drifted over, arriving before the Hehuan Sect Master. The tip of the blade was aimed directly at her brow! For some reason, though the sword carried no aura, she felt greatly alarmed. She retreated rapidly but the sword moved slowly yet swiftly, arriving within three zhang of her in the blink of an eye.
“Ah Gou, block it!”
The elongated shadow behind her abruptly twisted, then rose upright. It transformed into a short, stunted figure that placed itself before her. Its arm swung lightly, a cold gleam flashing as it met the black sword. The shadow’s arm trembled, but it could not fully block the black sword, only managing to deflect its trajectory by a few degrees.
The sword pierced straight through the Hehuan Sect Master’s body. A fist-sized bloody hole had appeared in her chest. The Mortal World Intent, carrying countless strands of fine sword qi, continuously eroded her vitality. As she let out a pained cry, she plummeted downward.
The pink-robed men were stricken with horror and abandoned Gu Han entirely, flying toward her. “Sect Master!”
Gu Han’s eyes showed a trace of disappointment. “Damn...”
This strike, executed by forcefully mobilizing his severely damaged divine soul, had a seventy percent chance of killing her if it caught her off guard. However, the shadow’s unexpected intervention gave her a chance to survive. Naturally, the stronger the strike, the greater the toll it exacted. His mind buzzed as waves of excruciating pain crashed over him, and he could barely maintain his flight.
With the last of his strength, he recalled his sword with difficulty as he began to fall. “Master Rooster!”
“Kid!”
Though Chongming’s mind wasn’t the sharpest and he desperately wanted to beat that bitch who kept saying she would eat him to death, he also understood that the battle wasn’t in their favor, especially after that shadow appeared. He flashed over to Gu Han’s side, divine light swirling around him as he shot into the sky.
To preserve the last shred of his dignity, he threatened before leaving, “Just wait until I come back! I’ll definitely kill you!”
