Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!
Chapter 1300: Function selection
A System window with a list of functions appeared in front of Arabel.
Glancing down the list, she picked up another piece of fish and popped it into her mouth. The rich taste immediately filled her taste buds, and the tender meat literally melted in her mouth.
"Hmm..." she closed her eyes, enjoying the moment.
Across from her, Idan was very happy that she liked what he had prepared. He put down the cutlery and folded his hands on the table, fingers crossed, ready for discussion.
He waited until Arabel had finished eating before he spoke.:
"I’ve already thought it over, and of the suggested options, I’m most inclined to the "Construction" function. She will be most useful to us at the moment."
Arabel blinked, glanced at the list in silence, and her gaze settled on the word "Construction."
She didn’t have to guess. It was a function related to the "Supreme Building System".
"But we have Doppelgangers," Arabel looked up from the list and looked at her husband.
"Doppelgangers are wonderful builders, I’m not arguing with that," — Idan smiled, seeing that Arabel still didn’t understand.
"Tell me, Belle, can the Doppelgangers build something similar to our private house and Simularium?"
Arabel’s eyes widened in understanding.
"System buildings! You don’t need builders, but system buildings like our private house and the Simularium."
"Yes," Idan nodded. "The kingdom is developing rapidly, and more and more houses are being built every day. I’m already thinking about taking over the layout of the buildings and putting everything in order."
Then Idan shared his visions.
Although he was not yet completely sure what the "Construction" function was, but knowing about the two buildings built by the "Supreme Construction System", he could assume that there were opportunities to create other unique buildings. Most of all, he hoped for the possibility of building his own teleportation gate or even, perhaps, his own flying island.
Arabel looked at her husband in disbelief.
"What’s the big deal? Don’t you want to have your own flying island?"
Of course, Arabel wanted to, but in her mind it seemed too fantastic and resembled a child’s dream.
After some consideration, Arabel came to the conclusion that "Building" was indeed necessary for the further development of their Kingdom. In addition, with the advent of this feature, they will have the opportunity to improve their own private home.
After several months of living, Arabel already wanted to make some changes and additions.
"Okay, I agree with that."
So they came to an agreement that the fifth function would be "Construction".
When the issue of the second free slot arose, they couldn’t come to an agreement quickly.
Their choice was based on three functions: Blacksmithing, Crafting and Wellness.
Blacksmithing was understandable to both of them — it was connected with the "Supreme Blacksmith System".
Crafting is a function of the system owned by Christina.
Wellness is a function that belongs to the Supreme Health System.
Arabel, who had already experienced the capabilities of the Wellness Center, was inclined towards this function, but was not sure how necessary it was for them. They already had a "Trade" function, from where they could buy recovery potions, and Idan himself, Alia, and other beings of Light could handle the treatment.
As for her current condition, according to Sierra, it will pass by itself soon.
And while they couldn’t come to a decision, the System intervened and gave its advice.
[Given the choice of the "Construction" function, this System recommends that you choose "Crafting".]
"Huh?"
Idan and Arabel were pleasantly surprised by the sudden System intervention.
"And why is that?" asked Arabel.
[You will find out after choosing], the System replied shortly, without going into details.
The couple exchanged glances.
Given the prompt from the System, they didn’t have to think for long.
They decided that the second function would be "Crafting".
"Both functions are replaceable, so we can replace them with others at any time," Idan reminded.

"Let’s see what these functions can do," with these words, Idan opened the "Construction" window.

"Is that all?" — Arabel looked up from the system window and looked at Idan in disbelief. He, in turn, looked equally puzzled.
And then a system message appeared in front of them.
[Ding! The task was given: "To understand how the "Construction" function works, perform a full scan of one building."]
[Completion reward: 200 CP.]
"A task to understand how the function works? Interesting," Idan smiled. This was the first time the System had offered them a task like this.
Idan and Arabel exchanged glances, and without words, they understood which building should be explored first.
However, they did not rush, but immediately opened the window of the "Crafting" function.

Crafting (-)
_Blueprint:
Lovers’ Plate (+)
The Sphere of Secret Concealment (+)
The Whisper Hub (+)
The Whisper Talismans (+)
-----------------------------------
Unlike the "Construction" function, the "Craft" function already included several blueprints.
"Dan, this is..." Arabel said, looking excitedly at the screen.
"Yes, these are the blueprints of all the individual orders that Christina created for us," Idan confirmed, looking up from the system window.
He clicked on the (+) next to the Lovers’ Plate, and a list of necessary resources for its creation and cost appeared in front of him.
If Idan wasn’t mistaken, the cost of the Lovers’ Plate was 2000 System Points. However, Kristina gave them a 50% discount, and they were able to purchase the artifact for 1,000 points.
Idan checked the cost of all the materials in the "Trade" function and, adding it up with the creation price, calculated that the total cost would be approximately 2,000 system points.
However, if they can find some of the resources on their own, they can significantly reduce costs.
"But what does this have to do with Construction?" asked Arabel, interrupting Idan’s thoughts.
Idan shrugged, because he didn’t know the answer to that question himself. The Craft function did not specify how these functions are related to each other.
"Well, let’s go and scan our House," Idan suggested, closing the System window and getting up. "I have a feeling that we will find the answer to this question there."
