"Has the Morgan family started acting?" Idan’s eyebrows rose in surprise.

"Yes, all my sources confirm this," Arslan nodded, confirming his words. Unlike Arabel, he had loyal people inside the family, whom he had gained during the year of Arabel’s absence.

"After your impressive performance, this was to be expected."

He sighed.

"For the family, it became like a statement of strength. Independence and, most importantly, disrespect."

Arslan, seeing that Idan was taking his words calmly, continued:

"The family has raised us all our lives in a sense of duty to it. Our education, resources, and even our marriages were seen as something we owed the family."

"And Arabel broke all these rules?" asked Idan.

"Not only her, but also me," Arslan grinned, but immediately hid his smile when he saw Irene approaching.

"My sources say that almost immediately after your victory in the Test Tower blew up the {Local Systems Network}, the family called an emergency Council meeting."

Irene came up and silently looked first at her brother and then at Arslan.

Their eyes met.

"Ahem," — Arslan cleared his throat in embarrassment and, looking away, continued:

"I do not know what decision the family council made, but knowing our family, I am sure that they will not ignore it."

Idan looked at his sister. She was serious, but she didn’t seem surprised. This indicated that Arslan had already discussed this issue with her.

"I’m telling you this so that you’re aware and don’t be surprised if the family suddenly takes action soon," Arslan added, turning to Irene with a smile. "After all, we are already a family."

"Family, huh?" — Idan smiled, looking from Arslan to Irene.

"Thank you for sharing this," he thanked Arslan.

Irene and Arslan left. Idan watched them go, intending to tell Arabel about this conversation as soon as she woke up. He wasn’t going to take any action without her knowledge.

Idan trusted Arabel, just as she trusted him. She didn’t interfere when he was looking for his father and dealing with the chaos in his family. The Morgan family was Arabel’s personal business, and she herself had to sort out her past and find a solution.

Idan took a step and disappeared from the Guild building, appearing in a familiar spacious room. Sierra was sitting on a luxurious sofa, sipping a glass of wine.

"Oh! You’re fast," she smiled, putting her glass on the table and getting up from the sofa.

Her heels clicked as she walked over to Idan and studied him carefully.

"You and my little sister never cease to amaze me," she said with a sincere smile. "Having multiple Bloodlines, trying to understand the law while being Platinum—ranked, acquiring a Second Spirit Form, and being born both Valkyrie and Alpha are almost unbelievable."

Sierra walked slowly around Idan, listing all his and Arabel’s recent achievements.

"To be honest, that’s exactly what I like about you," she confessed. "So I’m looking forward to seeing what else you can show me."

Idan had long been used to Sierra’s playful manner, so he wasn’t surprised by her antics.

Noticing his unflappable gaze, Sierra grinned, but then, removing the smile, asked:

"How’s little sister?"

"Belle is still sleeping," Idan replied.

Sierra stared at him in silence for a while, and then looked away.

"When she wakes up, let me know."

"Okay," Idan nodded and couldn’t help but ask, "Is there something wrong with her?"

"Oh! Why do you think that?" — Sierra tilted her head questioningly.

"It’s just that she was already waking up, but she quickly fell asleep..." Idan shared his observations and worries.

"Oh," — Sierra nodded thoughtfully.

"You’re right, it’s most likely due to the influence of the law of ice," she agreed.

Seeing how Idan’s face frowned and became serious, she smiled.

"Don’t worry, it’s not forever. Once she gets some sleep, she’ll be fine."

"Is that true?" Idan was excited.

"Yes," Sierra confirmed. "You’re standing right in front of me. Tell me, do you feel anything unusual about yourself?"

Idan looked down at his hands.

"Do I feel anything unusual about myself?" he repeated the question.

The answer was simply no.

However, he did not voice his thoughts, because he remembered that after waking up he felt a headache, trembling in his hands and an irresistible desire to act.

"If Belle’s dream is the influence of the law of ice, then what I felt earlier is most likely related to the law of lightning," Idan thought.

"But all these feelings disappeared after my three-hour fishing trip in the Spaces of a Thousand Shores."

"All the abilities and spatial artifacts were not working there, which means that the laws probably had no force..." he concluded.

"The law can only be used without consequences if you reach rank 6," Sierra shared her knowledge. "You and my little sister used the law for your Ascension, so there must have been some consequences."

She’s words echoed the warning of the System about the possible consequences of applying the law in the future. Even if they have a foundation, it won’t protect them from the possible consequences.

"But I see you’re okay," Sierra said with a slight smile. "Come on, I want to show you something."

When she saw the confusion on Idan’s face, she laughed loudly. "I called you not only to check on your condition and find out about your younger sister, but also on business."

Sierra disappeared, and Idan felt the force pulling him along. He didn’t resist, and the next moment they were at the entrance to one of the prison cells.

When Idan saw who was inside, his eyes widened in surprise. He had completely forgotten about it.

"As far as I understand, all the Awakened Ones will be teleported to Junonia in a few days. I wanted to ask you, what should we do with him? After all, he is also an Awakened One," Sierra said, looking at Idan with her usual smile.

Idan looked away from her and looked at a young man with short blond hair who was tied up with dark chains and was in a deep sleep.

This man was Arabel’s ex—fiance, Christopher Hugh.
