Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 2129 …how are we going to face them?

Chapter 2129  …how are we going to face them?

“If you knew everything I knew—

Why didn’t you make a move?

Don’t tell me someone like you does not have a way to move to a sealed space, that would make it quite laughable.”

Eternity replied, asking the same question Darkness asked him.

And it wasn’t just the same question—

“If you knew everything I knew, why did you stay silent all this while? Why didn’t you call me out when you thought I was lying?

Were you trying to hide the enemy’s potential?

Are you on the enemy’s side?”

He raised the same allegations.

“Stop playing around.

I am not the same as you, you know that well.”

Darkness, however, answered calmly.

“I did not see everything happen when it did. I realized what was happening after the Universe reacted and my connection with Neremoth disappeared.

What I showed earlier was Neremoth’s Vision before he disappeared.”

“Is that so?”

Eternity replied, amused by those words.

Then with a wave of his hand, the Vision that had paused played further, this time, through Zarveth’s perspective.

Anomaly and Sharnoth moved towards the Supreme Party, devoured them, Neremoth revealed himself, the two talked about going against the Infinities and capturing the Anomaly, the Anomaly then disappears and this time, the Vision continues as Neremoth chases after the Anomaly and disappears with him.

“This must be what you were talking about, correct? He must have ‘disappeared’ after this, huh?”

Eternity asked, his amused tone did not fade away.

“…that is correct.”

Darkness nodded. This time, however, his words seemed somewhat heavier, and the other two Infinities knew why that was the case.

From one look, Neremoth chasing after the Anomaly didn’t seem like a big deal, however, for the Infinities, it revealed quite a few things.

One couldn’t forcefully enter an Infinity’s domain in such a manner.

If the Anomaly was indeed an Infinity like they first thought, then Neremoth wouldn’t have been able to follow him. Of course, this could be the Anomaly trying to lure Neremoth out, but…

The fact of the matter remained the same… if the Anomaly was an Infinity like they thought… he wouldn’t need to play such games.

Heck, Neremoth himself wouldn’t have the gall to chase after him.

From all these things, one thing couldn’t be any clearer.

The Anomaly, at least the one shown on the screen, was not an Infinity.

But if that was the case—

Then what was he?

What was… that dark energy that none of them seemed to recognize?

What was that energy that seemed… out of this Universe?

The more the Infinities thought about it, the more questions appeared in their heads.

Where did the Anomaly escape to?

How did he escape when the Space was sealed?

It definitely wasn’t a teleportation, it couldn’t be teleportation.

Yes, the Infinities had a way to move when Space is sealed, but it wasn’t something any being could pull off. They needed to alter the very Laws of the region they were in and—

Seeing Zarveth’s surprised reaction, it was very clear that the Laws of the region were not altered.

It was something… entirely different than what any of them knew.

And no, it wasn’t a new form of Law or something like that.

These beings who have been alive for trillions of years wouldn’t have missed something like that.

It was something much, much different.

Something… all four Infinities now had a rough idea about… just that… none of them wanted to say it out loud.

Eternity actually wanted to hide it, but since Darkness said what he said, he had no choice but to give in and reveal everything.

And now…

Every Infinity knew what the other was thinking.

Why didn’t Eternity or Darkness make a move?

It wasn’t because they were trying to hide something.

It wasn’t because they were trying to side with the enemy.

It was because…

They were scared.

They were scared not of the Anomaly, of course, but… what his existence represented.

“Why did you try to hide it…?”

Light questioned in a low voice, staring at Eternity. It was clear that she did not want this foolish game to continue any longer.

Not when… all of this could mean the end of them all.

“…I was not sure.”

Eternity answered honestly.

This time, he played no games. There was no amusement or playfulness in his voice. There was no mysteriousness in his words. It was a simple, honest answer.

“So you decided to hide?”

Light raised her eyebrow.

Balance, however, had a stronger reaction—

“Not sure? What is there to be ‘not sure’ of?”

He questioned, his voice higher than usual. He who remained calm throughout their conversation, had finally reacted.

“No wonder the Universe reacted so strongly to that being’s appearance. It all makes perfect sense now!”

He spoke as if he had discovered the greatest truth.

“What were you thinking trying to hide something this crucial from us!? Have you lost your mind!?”

“As I said, I was not sur—”

“What are you not sure about!?

We have an entirely different Universe that has found the way to voluntarily cross the Multiversal restriction and overlap with ours!

You think you have the time to be sure about it!?”

Balance snapped.

And once again, heavy silence fell over the table as Eternity, Light, or Darkness, none of them spoke.

After all, the matter truly was that grave.

The Anomaly…

He wasn’t a Primordial or an Infinity.

No, the threat he represented was far, far greater.

He…

He came from a different Universe.

Yes, another Universe. Every Infinity knew there were countless Universes different from their own. The beings from the Supreme World of Eternity had been constantly trying to study these different Universes. However, other than simply knowing of their existence and the fact that sometimes these Universes collide with each other, leading to a few exchanges of souls between two or even three different Universes, nothing more could be learned about these different Universes.

Of course, they had captured a few souls that accidentally came from other Universes to research and learn more about the other Universes through them.

However, at the fundamental level, the souls that came from the other Universes were exactly the same as the souls in their Universe.

So much so that if they did not catch these foreign souls the instant they sensed the Universal Collisions, there was no way to tell them apart.

And of course, since all the souls they captured had all their memories removed, just as their Universe removes soul memories, they couldn’t learn anything about the other Universes.

There were theories, yes, but nothing concrete.

It was something that always bothered the Infinities—well, mostly Eternity—since he wanted to know everything there was, and the fact that there existed knowledge that he could not possess… it did not sit well with him.

It bothered him quite a lot. The rest of the Infinities, however, did not particularly care. What they could not rule did not matter to them. Since there was no way to go to the other Universes and rule them, in their eyes, the other Universes did not exist.

Well…

Till now, that is.

But now, things were different.

Beings from another Universe had somehow found their way inside their Universe. And unlike the souls that came to their Universe through the Universal Collision that happens probably once every few million years and is completely by chance—this seemed… voluntary.

The Anomaly seemed to have perfect control over Universal Travel. He could come to their Universe and return to his whenever he wanted.

All of this meant one thing…

The beings from another Universe had learned something they did not.

And considering how they seemed to be moving so openly these days, it is clear that they are no longer ‘investigating’ them.

The enemies are prepared to attack.

They are prepared to face them.

They have captured more than a few of their men, and by reading their memories, they would have all the information they would need about them.

And the worst part?

They were clueless.

They had absolutely no information about the enemy.

Who were they?

Which Universe did they come from?

How did they achieve Universe travel?

How strong are the strongest beings in their Universe?

What powers or Authorities do they have?

The cultivation system the enemy follows.

Nothing. They knew nothing.

The difference between the information the two sides had of each other was absurdly high.

Not to mention there is also Zylarith running around, preparing who knows what. His plans were unknown. The Seer was no exception either—if anything, she might even be from the enemy Universe. There is also the Fifth Infinity none of them has contact with. Whether he is a friend or an ally isn’t clear either.

The problem was apparent.

There were too many non-optimal factors on their side.

And the worst part?

The enemy probably knew of every single one of these factors.

It… it wouldn’t be surprising if they were overwhelmed in this War.

Things… did not look good.

In the end, Balance took a deep breath, calming himself down. Then, he stared at his ‘allies’ and asked a direct question.

“…how are we going to face them?”
