Chapter 90: The Willow Family’s Fear
The Willow Family’s Fear
In the big mansion of the Willow Family, Rupert Willow was giving his report to the patriarch.
The patriarch of the Willow Family was a middle-aged man with a big, built figure and a light gray beard.
His name was Darius Willow.
His eyes were sharp and calculating.
His presence commanded respect.
"What? Is that true?" Darius Willow exclaimed lightly after hearing the report from Rupert.
His voice carried a hint of disbelief.
"Hmm, I have confirmed it myself. They were definitely not people we could offend. When I was talking to them, although I didn’t see or sense any strong person with them, I am sure there was definitely a strong person protecting those kids from the shadows. I felt like I would die the next moment if I tried to move against those kids. Otherwise, I would not have returned empty-handed," Rupert explained the event.
His voice was serious.
His eyes were filled with lingering fear.
The memory of that overwhelming pressure still made him shiver.
The Willow Family had stood for generations in Suncloud City.
They had weathered storms.
They had faced enemies.
But this time, Rupert felt true danger.
Darius Willow lost himself in thought.
He trusted Rupert.
He knew that he wouldn’t lie.
They had fought together for decades.
If Rupert said there was danger, there was danger.
"Well, those kids should be descendants of a strong clan. Naturally, the clan must have sent someone to guard them."
His voice was filled with understanding.
He had seen this before.
Powerful clans always protected their young.
Especially the talented ones.
"This idiot boy!! Almost caused disaster to the clan today," Darius cursed his son Preston, who had been beaten by Lane today.
His fists clenched.
His jaw tightened.
Anger burned in his eyes.
If Preston had succeeded in touching that girl, the entire Willow Family might have been wiped out.
"But I don’t understand one thing—what was the purpose of those kids visiting Suncloud City?" Rupert muttered slowly.
His brow furrowed.
"Don’t worry. They must be passing through here. Warn all the members of the clan—whoever causes trouble for those kids in the future will be severely punished by me," Darius said.
He was an attentive and intelligent person.
He immediately made arrangements.
His orders were clear.
His authority was absolute.
The Willow Family would not make the same mistake twice.
Not only the Willow Family but a few other clans were also searching for clues about the identity of Victor and his two maids.
The city was buzzing with whispers.
Who were these mysterious newcomers?
Where did they come from?
Why were they so powerful?
---
On the other side.
The sun was beginning to set.
Painting the sky in shades of orange and gold.
The clouds glowed like fire.
The world was bathed in warm light.
Victor, Lane, and Skyla walked through the garden path leading to the mansion.
The cool evening breeze carried the scent of flowers from the garden.
The petals swayed gently.
The leaves rustled softly.
The air was fresh and peaceful.
As they approached the main entrance, they heard Clara’s cheerful voice.
"Victor! You’re back!" Clara called out, stepping out of the mansion with a warm smile.
Her purple hair swayed gently in the breeze.
Her purple eyes sparkled with delight.
Her E-cup breasts rose and fell with her excitement.
Victor smiled at his aunt.
"Aunt Clara, we’re home."
His voice was warm.
Anna also came out, her black hair flowing behind her.
Her red eyes were filled with motherly love.
"How was your trip to the city, my son?"
Her voice was gentle.
"It was wonderful, Mother," Victor replied, embracing her.
"We saw so many interesting things."
Anna hugged him tightly.
Her F-cup breasts pressed against his chest.
Her warmth seeped into him.
"I’m so glad you enjoyed yourself," she whispered.
Clara stepped closer and examined him with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"Hmm, you seem different, Victor. More... relaxed. Did something special happen in the city?"
Her voice was dripping with amusement.
Victor’s cheeks flushed slightly.
"Nothing special, Aunt. Just a normal day of shopping."
Clara raised an eyebrow.
"Normal? With these two beautiful maids by your side? I find that hard to believe."
She winked at Lane and Skyla.
Lane opened her mouth as if to say something about the changing room incident.
But Victor shot her a sharp look that clearly said, "Shut up!"
Lane closed her mouth with a grin.
Her black eyes sparkled with mischief.
But Anna and Clara exchanged knowing smiles.
Their eyes were filled with understanding.
"Of course, nothing special," Clara said, her voice dripping with amusement.
"I’m sure you were very well-behaved, my dear nephew."
Victor coughed awkwardly.
"Yes, Aunt. Very well-behaved."
Anna chuckled softly.
"Victor, you know you can tell us anything, right?"
"Of course, Mother. I know."
Clara stepped closer and pinched his cheek gently.
"Look at you, blushing like a little boy. How cute."
Victor’s face grew even redder.
"Aunt! Please!"
Anna laughed.
"Leave him alone, Clara. He’s already embarrassed enough."
Clara smirked.
"Fine, fine. But I want to hear all about your adventures later."
Just then, Rias appeared from inside the mansion.
Her red hair was tied back.
Her red eyes held their usual cold demeanor.
But they softened slightly when she saw Victor.
Her D-cup breasts pressed against her red robe.
Her long legs moved gracefully.
"Victor, you’re back," she said, her voice calm but not unfriendly.
Victor smiled at his sister-in-law.
"Sister-in-law, I brought gifts for everyone."
Anna’s eyes widened.
"You brought gifts? Victor, you didn’t have to."
"Of course I did. You’re all important to me."
Clara’s eyes sparkled.
"Oh? What did you get us?"
Victor grinned.
"You’ll see."
He reached into his storage ring and pulled out the items he had purchased.
For Anna, he had a beautiful black hairpin with red gemstones.
The gems sparkled like drops of blood.
The metal was finely crafted.
"Oh, Victor! It’s beautiful!" Anna exclaimed.
