Chapter 107: The Mid- Grade Spiritual Liquid [Part 2]
Victor’s body shook.
His meridians began to strain beneath the overwhelming pressure.
Yet he didn’t panic.
He had expected this.
His cells seemed to come alive, greedily absorbing the spiritual energy pouring through his body.
Every drop was refined energy.
Every breath made him feel stronger.
His body gradually became like a furnace, burning through the enormous amount of energy and transforming it into something purer.
Victor immediately sat cross-legged on his bed.
He closed his eyes.
His breathing slowed.
Then he began circulating the Alpha Creation Codex.
The moment the cultivation technique activated, the spiritual energy inside his body began to change.
Raw spiritual energy was gradually refined.
It transformed into chaos mana.
The transformation wasn’t gentle.
Victor’s entire body trembled.
His muscles tightened instinctively.
His bones creaked under the pressure.
Even his organs seemed to vibrate as the powerful energy swept through him.
Pain flashed across his face.
But he remained still.
He had experienced worse.
Compared to the suffering he had endured during his mana deviation, this was nothing he couldn’t withstand.
Victor gritted his teeth and continued circulating the Alpha Creation Codex.
The chaos mana slowly spread through his body.
It flowed into his muscles first.
His muscles became denser and stronger.
Then it entered his bones, reinforcing them from within.
His organs were purified next.
Every trace of impurity was slowly burned away.
His cells continued absorbing the energy without hesitation.
One after another, they were strengthened.
His body was improving with every passing second.
Victor carefully controlled the amount of energy he absorbed.
He didn’t dare release everything at once.
The liquid was simply too powerful.
If he lost control, the energy could easily overwhelm his meridians and cause serious damage.
So he divided the absorption into two stages.
The first portion was slowly refined and absorbed.
His dantian began filling rapidly.
The spiritual energy gathered inside it.
Then it condensed.
And condensed again.
Until his dantian was completely filled with pure chaos mana.
Victor took a slow breath.
He could already feel his cultivation approaching a bottleneck.
But he wasn’t finished yet.
There was still another portion.
He continued circulating the Alpha Creation Codex.
The remaining energy surged forward.
This time, the pressure was even greater.
His body shook violently.
His veins became visible beneath his skin.
His teeth clenched.
For several moments, it felt as though his body might reach its limit.
But Victor refused to stop.
He pushed forward.
Again.
And again.
The chaos mana continued circulating through his meridians.
His dantian trembled.
Then—
Boom!
A powerful surge erupted inside him.
The bottleneck shattered.
Victor’s aura rose sharply.
One layer.
Then another.
His cultivation continued climbing until it finally settled.
After two minutes, Victor had broken through by two layers.
Silence returned to the room.
Victor remained seated for a moment.
He slowly exhaled.
A faint smile appeared on his face.
Just a little more.
A little more, and he would finally restore the cultivation he had possessed before the mana deviation.
That thought alone made his heart burn with anticipation.
Victor opened his eyes.
His golden irises shimmered with an intense, almost imperceptible glow.
Power coursed through every part of his body.
He clenched his fist.
The strength felt completely different from before.
His body was stronger.
His chaos mana was denser.
Even his senses seemed sharper.
A confident smile slowly spread across his face.
“Let’s test my strength now.”
Victor stood up.
He stretched his shoulders once before walking toward the open space at the back of the house.
There, Lane and Skyla were already waiting for him.
—
The garden behind the mansion stretched across a wide clearing, surrounded by tall trees and clusters of flowering bushes.
Soft grass covered the ground beneath their feet. Afternoon sunlight slipped through the leaves above, scattering patches of golden light and shadow across the clearing. A gentle breeze moved through the garden, carrying the fresh scent of flowers with it.
Lane stood on the left side of the clearing.
Her long black hair swayed freely behind her whenever the breeze passed. Her bright black eyes were full of excitement, and a confident smile rested on her delicate lips.
She wore a simple but elegant black robe. The soft white fabric was trimmed with black thread, giving the outfit a clean and refined appearance. It was fitted lightly around her waist before falling toward her ankles in loose, graceful folds.
The robe followed the natural lines of her slender figure without restricting her movement. Her posture was relaxed, yet there was a quiet confidence in the way she stood.
She looked young and delicate.
But there was nothing fragile about her presence.
Across the clearing stood Skyla.
Her blonde hair was tied neatly behind her shoulders in a ponytail. The wind occasionally tugged at a few loose strands, making them brush against her cheeks.
Her bright green eyes remained calm and focused.
Unlike Lane, who could barely hide her excitement, Skyla looked composed. Her soft cheeks still carried a hint of youthful innocence, though the determined look in her eyes made it clear that she was taking the upcoming spar seriously.
She wore a green robe similar to Lane’s.
The soft white fabric was trimmed with black thread and fitted lightly around her waist before flowing down to her ankles. It suited her slender frame well, while still leaving her enough freedom to move.
Her long, straight legs were positioned firmly beneath her. There was a subtle athletic tone to her thighs and a natural strength in her stance.
She looked practical.
Simple.
And completely focused.
The two girls stood several meters apart.
Neither of them spoke.
Both had already drawn their swords.
Lane’s weapon was a slender black blade. Its dark surface caught the sunlight in brief flashes whenever she shifted her grip.
Skyla held a gleaming silver sword.
A faint spiritual glow surrounded both weapons, barely visible in the afternoon light.
Victor stood between them.
He watched the two girls for a moment before a small smile appeared on his face.
“Are you ready?”
