"Thank you, Mother."

Skyla leaned against his shoulder.

Her blonde hair brushed against his cheek.

Her green eyes sparkled.

"Young Master, you’re becoming more amazing every day."

Lane nodded.

Her black hair swayed.

Her black eyes were warm.

"We’re proud of you."

Victor wrapped his arms around both of them.

"I couldn’t have done it without you two."

Clara watched the scene with a fond smile.

"You three are inseparable."

"Of course," Lane said proudly. "We’re Young Master’s maids."

"And we take our duties very seriously," Skyla added with a giggle.

Rias rolled her eyes but couldn’t hide her smile.

"You two are shameless."

"Shameless and proud!" Lane declared.

Everyone laughed, and the warmth in the room grew.

"Victor," Anna said softly, "I’m glad you’re happy here."

"I am, Mother. Truly."

"This is our home now," Clara added.

"No matter what happened before, we have each other."

Rias nodded.

"We’re family."

Victor looked at each of them.

His mother.

His aunt.

His sister-in-law.

His maids.

His family.

"I love you all," he said.

They smiled.

"We love you too, Victor," they said in unison.

The moment was perfect.

---

After lunch, Victor returned to his room and prepared himself for cultivation.

He closed the door behind him and walked over to the bed.

Once he was seated, he took out two Superior Grade Mana Stones from his storage.

The stones were crystal clear.

A dense stream of spiritual mana could be felt swirling inside them.

Victor placed one in each palm and crossed his legs.

He took a slow breath.

Then he began circulating the Alpfa Creation Codex.

The moment the technique started running, the mana within the stones was drawn toward him.

A faint current of energy flowed into his body.

It entered through his palms first.

Then it spread through his meridians, moving deeper with every cycle of the technique.

The Alpfa Creation Codex did not simply absorb the mana.

It refined it.

The pure spiritual mana was gradually transformed into chaos mana.

The newly refined energy moved through his body like a warm current.

It passed through his muscles.

Then his bones.

Then his organs.

Every part of his body was slowly strengthened under its nourishment.

Victor remained completely still.

His breathing became slower.

His heartbeat settled into a steady rhythm.

There was no dramatic breakthrough.

No violent surge of power.

Just a quiet and steady increase.

Minute by minute, he could feel his body becoming stronger.

His muscles grew denser.

His bones became tougher.

Even his internal organs were being tempered by the chaos mana.

The process was slow.

But Victor didn’t mind.

Cultivation was never about rushing blindly.

A solid foundation mattered far more.

So he continued.

One cycle.

Then another.

And another.

Time passed without him noticing.

The afternoon gradually disappeared.

The light outside faded.

Darkness slowly settled over the world.

Yet Victor remained seated on his bed, completely absorbed in cultivation.

The two Superior Grade Mana Stones in his hands gradually lost their brilliance.

Their energy was being consumed little by little.

Hours passed.

Eventually, night had completely descended.

The moon hung high above the sky.

Its pale silver light slipped through the window and fell across Victor’s room.

The room was quiet.

Only the faint sound of his breathing could be heard.

Then, finally—

Victor opened his eyes.

A sharp glint flashed through his golden eyes before disappearing.

He slowly exhaled.

A faint breath of warm air escaped his lips.

His body felt completely refreshed.

There was no trace of the fatigue he had felt earlier.

Instead, his entire body seemed to be overflowing with strength.

He clenched his fist.

A subtle feeling of power surged through his fingers.

Victor smiled faintly.

The cultivation session had gone well.

He had not achieved a major breakthrough.

But his foundation had become noticeably stronger.

That was enough.

He didn’t need to force his cultivation.

As long as he continued progressing steadily, his strength would eventually reach a level that ordinary cultivators could barely imagine.

Victor leaned back slightly and looked toward the moonlit window.

For a moment, he simply enjoyed the calm.

Then he remembered something.

His status.

"Status."

The familiar system interface appeared before his eyes.

Victor looked over the entire list.

Five names.

Five people connected to him.

He quietly studied the information.

There was something strangely satisfying about seeing their progress laid out so clearly.

Victor leaned back against the wall.
